Straight up now tell me do you really wanna love me forever, Cos Costco! Rarely do stores elicit emotion when their name is spoken, but Costco will forever remain an exception. If one store is to be added to a area, it should always be Costco. Walking in, youre greeted with more TVs and pleasantries than you can shake a stick at and it only gets better! Venture into this wonderland and youre rewarded with prime grade steak, copper river salmon (a delicacy known to few in Iowa until now), an incredible wine selection, chicken bakes, cheese that fancy mice dream of, a vast clothing selection and bulk items that make anyone smile. If we could give Costco a 10, we would. Its seriously as close to the perfect store as you can get. We love it so much our sons first trip out of the house at 4 days old was here. Hes a fan too! The praise has been sung and despite my attempts to build it up. The Costco must be experienced. Shopping here is akin to seeing an old friend every time you set foot inside and its the only store Ive never left disappointed. From the meats, produce and spirits to the clothing electronics and take out (chicken bakes are served in heaven), Costco is as good as I gets. Better selection and quality than SAMs club and its rare to walk out without $100 worth of stuff you didnt know you needed. Great every time!

This is an overdue review. Last summer I purchased a pair of eye glasses (frames and lenses) from the Costco Optical in Coralville. When I finally received them the prescription seemed incorrect--particularly in that the lenses seemed warped to where I had no depth perception and could not focus. Having "drunk vision" is the best comparison I can use. When I took them back, the woman who helped me told me that it was "natural" that my eyes would need to adjust to the glasses (after being a contact lens wearer) and I would "get used to it." How was I supposed to get used to wearing them, when wearing them for longer than two minutes at a time made me physically ill? I shouldnt have to train my eyes to see out of a pair of eyeglasses. She wouldnt even have the lenses inspected to verify their accuracy. Suffice to say, I am out $160 and will never recommend Costco Optical to any lens-wearer.

We drove 50 miles to visit this store and were considering getting the membership, but the customer service rep would not allow us to purchase the $55 one, but kept harrassing us to get the upgraded version at $110. I explained multiple times that we wanted to start with the $55 one, and after going round and round with him at least a dozen times, I lost my cool and we left without a membership and because of this one person, I am now soured on the whole Costco reputation . I have never dealt with anyone at a business who was this rude and condescending!! Costco, if you are paying your people based on the selling of the upgraded membership, I highly recommend that you change your practice. I am staying with Sams Club! The 1 star rating is only because of the fine gentleman who greeted us when we arrived...and actually, he gets a 5.

The quality of merchandise is superb; the prices are always among the lowest; the staff is the most helpful in the City; it is beautifully organized and arranged; and the parking is covered so the consumer is always sheltered from snow and rain. The credit card permits access to steeply discounted gas prices, and very substantial cash back features. Their product return policy is outstanding, and very consumer oriented-no receipt is required. An excellent optometrist is officed there, the glasses are of high quality and priced very low, and hearing aid services and sales are the most reasonable that I have ever found. Remember that even though the prices are low, the quality is the highest you will find anywhere. There is no business that can compete with this Costco.

Very bad customer service. The mangaer was very rude. I was gone there with my fathers castco memebership card. My father was at work so he did not able to come with me but he gave his memebership card to me and gave me the grocery list what was needed to buy. I went there and bought everything needed aftet that when I went to cashier counter she was not ready to give me my items just because she thought I would have stolen that memebership card and I told her that is my fathers card. Then also She declined to give me the items and took my card from me I was confused. I showed him my ID and told her to keep a copy of my ID if anything wrong happens but then also she was rude and the manager was very rude too.Never suggest anybody to go there.

Trouble at checkout! I have been a Costco customer since this store opened in Coralville and have had pretty good customer service, but today was very surprising. Apparently, they have started a new policy of harassing customers at the checkout to upgrade their memberships to the executive membership. Thomas A. (the smug clerk) refused to start scanning my items until a supervisor could be summoned to explain the merits of the Executive membership to me (which I was fully aware of but did not want). Even after I told them both no, they were still very pushy. This was all extremely upsetting and really soured my experience with Costco.

Ive been to Costco in Coralville 4 times now and each time I have been treated with extreme disrespect. I work in a facility that prides themselves on customer service so perhaps I am a stickler for good customer services skills, but regardless they need to work on being polite and treating each customer like they matter because without customers you do not have a sucessful business. I understand that a job is a job but their employees need to take pride in their jobs and treat everyone with a warm welcome....no need to be so cold and pushy. I wont be back...Thank you Costco for making it so easy for me to never return.

I got a good deal on eye glasses at Costco in coralville, and we tried shopping there a few times, very limited store, no canned vegies, no chicken, their coffee aisle is all geared for keurig machines, no eggs other than boxes, our last visit, while we were putting our purchases on the conveyer belt, an employee, I guess? Came over and started grabbing r stuff and throwing it back in the basket, when I tried to help him, he grabbed it from me and put it back in the basket, we went to there packed customer service and cancelled and walked out, well take our money someplace else, no stars

I LOVE COSTCO! This store is so great due to having inside parking and good customer service! The only thing I am sad about is not having one closer to home....I commute over an hr to get to this one! I will always support a company that gives their staff a living wage....RX drugs are so cheap I get more than double what I would get at Walgreens for the same price! I bought an I ROBOT vacuum cleaner for $100 less than I would have gotten it on AMAZON. Cant say enough good things about Costco!
