The staff arent very happy as a general rule. At least from my experiences with them. Except for customer service and the door greeters, everyone else seems aggravated when asked a question and I have ran into quite a few who dont seem to be knowledgeable about their own store and where things are kept. There are quite a few cashiers who move extremely slow as well. Maybe Walmart needs better incentives and positive influence on their employees. This isnt the first Walmart that I have seen overly disgruntled employees as a whole. They have no ambition to do their job. Humdrum and stressed appearances in their body language, facial expressions etc. It takes a good positive influence in administration to keep the ship running smoothly, even through some rocky waves. These employees dont seem to have that. The store is generally clean, but the product placement is a little confusing especially in the clothing area. Needs a better craft section with more options for yarn types/brands, more paint options, woodworking options. For a town that doesnt have many options for retail compared to other towns and especially with no craft stores at all, This particular Walmart needs to expand their craft area and provide more options for the community. Their meat selection is not that well and portion size for the price stinks. Hunting area is really decent compared to other walmarts I have entered. Every other area seems to be set up pretty well with prices reasonable to the products.

Frank was the highlight of my shopping adventure at Wal Mart. I will be taking my business else where from now on. Im appalled by your rep on ky3 accusing Frank of helping customers steal. I have witnessed numerous times when people were a dollar or two short on cash and trying to figure out what they needed to put back. Frank would take his wallet out and help that person. That people is not a person that would help customers steal. I didnt realize that price matching without a customer saying something was a crime. If you as a corporation are hurting that bad for a few cents then maybe you management teams need to take a cut in pay to make up for it. Also you might want to take a good hard look at your management team in west plains and what they are doing instead of picking on a person trying to help another person on a price match. Im sure you will be suprised at what you find. Last comment is you have lost my business and you should be ashamed of yourselves. Trent Cochran instead of lining your own pockets remember this you are replaceable in Wal marts eyes also. It would really suck all the years you have put in with them to just get replaced with no retirement either!!!!

Rude customer service, rude cashier. Im there once a week to do my shopping and I always pick the least busiest time of day. They need more qualified workers and cashiers who value their job and the customers paying their bills. I had asked for a price check on an item and the lady didnt even check the price. She told me the price and it was the same item that I had saw on clearance a week before. I get up to the front counter and surprise! Its a clearance item. Bread wall is never pulled, I love their pepperoni bread, however, all the dates on the shelves were marked for yesterdays date and should have been clearanced. When I asked about the pricing the lady shrugged me off and said "I dont know why" and went about her work. The cashier was also very rude to us when I was checking out. Very rude tone and unprofessional. I will drive an hour away before I ever give them my buisness again.

I have shopped regularly at this WalMart for years and have always felt good about the experience. The employees have been friendly and helpful. I enjoy shopping early on weekends, usually between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., but recently the deli counter has been closed when I shop. The deli no longer opens until 10:00 a.m. This seems late to me and makes it inconvenient for me to make purchases for the upcoming weeks lunches. Wish management would reconsider and at least open the deli by 9:00 a.m.

Horrible service maybe they need to be a little more careful who they decide to accuse of shoplifting they called cops on me for walking out with my phone and my wallet in my hands after the manager flat out harassed me and my friends the cops got a little perturbed when they watched video and found out that I never stole a thing I realize that shoplifting is a problem there but they should be positively sure before they involve the police Ill never go back here just from embarrassment

I have never liked Wal-Mart in West Plains Missouri sense Evert Brewer left and especially after Sam Walton died, but this is the lowest of lows for Walmart firing Frank Swanson 3 weeks before he was eligible for retirement Sam Walton would never have done Frank that way he would have thought of Frank like a son Sam always had a handshake for anyone and everyone Sam must be rolling over in his grave shame on Walmart in West Plains

Most employees, with a few exceptions, are rude and unhelpful. They are almost always out of stock on esstential items. They usually only have 4 registers open with backed up lines, so you have to use self checkout, but even then there are long lines and then the employees will treat you as thirds that dont really pay for your items if you use the self checkout. And will demand a receipt and to check your bags. Its a bit ridiculous.

Frank allowed for one of the Only positives in shopping there. He made tolerable other listless employees. Management constantly moving stock and wasting my valuable time looking and looking and looking. With Frank gone, Amazon is a more viable option. Unless Frank committed a felony he should be brought back. I always sought out his aisle because i knew cared.

All The People working there I have interfaced are very helpful and say hi even accross the parking lot from a distance. If your loading up your car they run over and help you and take your cart. So helpful. Ive tried to get a job there for four years to no avail. Maybe someday, I hope. Then I can be one of the good guys.

I went to the Automotive Department and I was going to buy two trailer tires, I stood there for 20 minutes and the people in charge totally ignored me, and showed no intention of waiting on me , it not the first time that department has done this I definitely would not recommend that place to anyone.

I dont know the circumstances on why Frank was fired, but I can tell you he was the high light of shopping there. Always extremely helpful, kind, caring. Always a big smile and made my day better. To bad more of your employees dont take after him. Or management for that matter.

Very upset with the manager and management that made the decision to fire FRANK. He is the most liked and honorable cashier ever. Would appreciate you reconsider your decision on his employment. Will be praying that justice be done for FRANKS job.
