A lot of people at Target in EAU CLAIRE just seem to want to come to work and make money, then leave. And thats about IT! Everytime Ive gone there to get groceries or just browse... I dread going to the front of the store to check out!! The older ladies are nice and easy-going. But the high schoolers and college kids, they are really just looking to make a dollar. I am amazed at how some of these kids are able to hold jobs. They do not smile. They do not make eye contact, they are all slouchy like they didnt sleep the night before... they are just so gloomy!! There is no customer service! Also... there never seems to be a team member when you need them. Ive walked isles and isles and Ill see someone in clothing... but I need someone in electronics. Ive actually put back an item, walked out of the store and went to walmart and bought it!! Very much a lack of customer service. Also Ive had very rude incounters with the Human Resources lady, Kate. Ive written a few comment cards on the cashiers and one fitting room person. And the HR person, Kate, seemed to not want to hear any of it, as if the cashiers having a bad day was MY fault. I love Targets items, and pretty much any other Target Ive been to, but I dont understand how they hire the most rude and gloomy people in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Ive never had a problem at any other Target in Wisconsin or Minnesota. LOVE Target, favorite store... Just... Avoid Eau Claire. Try Hudson if you can.

We used to shop at this location all the time and while we see improvements like self check outs , the store has gotten more run down and dirty and the constant change in staff seems to be lowering the quality of things as well. The carts are never clean and we have been in there recently when the bathrooms were not clean either. They have had a lot of problems with coolers and cold stuff and on many occasions we have had to get staff to show them lunch meat or hot dog items that were discolored even green and clearly not okay that were in front and yet no one noticed. We no longer trust the safety of any of the cold items there and stopped buying them. We have also noticed that the homeless population likes to hang out there for some reason in the cafe or sitting outside on the benches or staff smoking area... While I have nothing against them , I do not think allowing them to loiter is a good idea either. We have also noticed that workers are in general less friendly there than they used to be as well. Overall we have seen a general decline of this particular location and where we used to shop there 1-2 times per week , we might go in there 1 time a month now if that.

I really do love target but this one seems to be a complete mess. The shelves are messy and empty, I cant find anything because products are scattered randomly. The restrooms arent horribly filthy but theyre not clean eather. The employees are usually friendly, at least from what Ive experienced, which I appreciate. Ive only had two encounters with employees that didnt go well. They went necessarily rude just seem to not care. I asked an employee working in the clothing section if they had other skirt options and I was told to just go to Walmart. Another time I asked an employee working in the fitting room her opinion on a clothing item I was about to purchase and she just snickered and returned her conversation back to her friend, completely ignoring me. Im usually an easygoing person but nothing has been done yet to fix any of these problems and Im really starting to think that this target no longer cares about the store.

Called in one day to see if they had an item in stock. They said they did, and they would bring it to the customer service desk and save it for me. It was a Christmas present, and I lived 2 hours away. No other store had the item in stock, so I jumped in the car and drove the two hours to go get it. I get there, no one at the front desk knows what I am talking about. After 50 minutes, it seems the person looked at the screen, saw it said "In Stock", and just assumed it actually was. So I made the 2 hour trip in the sleeting rain for nothing, and all they told me was, "Sorry, the UPC codes are assorted." I asked if they could find the item in another store and ship it to a closer store. "No" I asked if they could take my information and let me know when it was in stock again. "No". Wont be shopping at Target again.

"Its where I get most of my food and all of my stuff." Well, not really, but its Target, the place to shop for anything. My wife will wander around the aisles for hours happily looking for nothing. And if you give the kids some of the popcorn, theyll tag along for as long as the bag is filled. And Ill admit, I get pretty excited when we pass the toy section and can play off my need to check out the new lightsabers in stock by saying Ill take the kids off my wifes hands for a bit. Look, its Target, and its a clean one. Recently updated, in fact. You should probably have a pretty good idea of what to expect. If you dont...stay away. Theres no need to start that addiction now.

My daughter went to the store in eauclaire today to use the gift card she received as,a Christmas gift. As she was ready to check out the clerk informed her she could only use the card at the store it was purchased at. Seeing how it was a gift from an out of state relitaveshe would not be going to that store. Not what has me really us pet is I received the same gift and was able to use my card at the same store a month ago. We as a family will not shop a target store again. And further more my family that purchased the cards as gifts will not shop there anymore.

Great place for your everyday shopping. Full grocery store - produce dept; deli for your meat and cheese; bakery for rolls, buns, and hand decorated cakes; meat dept;even a Starbucks! (And honestly, its the best of the 3 Starbucks in town) The cakes from the bakery are great, they are wonderfully decorated, and taste delicious! The deli meat and cheese have made me never go back to the pre-packaged junk, is delicious! The deli also had a deal that if you by a pound and a half of meat, you get a half pound of cheese free! This is just a great store to shop at!

Target...get an executive to sit in your snack bar. The new chairs are metal and right next to the front doors...Ive tried sitting there twice now and they are too cold to sit on. I love Target, but I just dont get the new layout. Im sure its my age...I am not the age brackett they are catering to. I loved the coven investment of books & cards up front and always bought both weekly. Going all the way to the back of the store to browse books doesnt appeal to me. It feels like the womens clothing selection has dwindled. ..u.se to love to shop Mossimo.
