First off, let me say that the Copy Center staff is great. They are always quick to ask if you need help, and willing to stop what theyre doing to assist. The rest of the staff, however, is a much different story. Ive waited in lines of over 20 minutes before because other staff members (who I know saw me as we made eye contact while my apparently threatening glances of anger and fury prompted many to scurry away or look elsewhere to avoid my evil stares) stand idly by as the line stretches around. Cashiers are often unbearingly slow, have to call for approval for many things, not knowledgable of store products at all, unaware (or insensitive) of other customers, have personalities similar to hospice patients, and have no sense of urgency when it comes to task prioritization. The only reason I keep coming back is because its so close to my house. On days I have free time, i will drive across town to Officemax just for the better experience and radical e-mailed receipts. If a viable alternative was available other than Target, Id use it. Product selection is good, Staples Rewards is acceptable at best, but unless you have alot of time on your hands, or are extremely bored and have time to waste, I wouldnt recommend this place.

The Staples site went down as I was uploading my files to be printed so I called and they told me to email them to the store and I could print them myself. The workers were clueless. They had me try a couple of the machines before they told me that pdf files will not print. Why did they tell me to email them to be printed at the store if they couldnt be printed?! My only option was to use their computer to print the files from my email. It cost a ridiculous amount of money per minute to use their computer but I had no other choice. I got ready to print 2 copies of an 11 page pdf and the total came to $23 !!!! I thought I must have done something wrong so I entered it again and still $23. I asked the guy and he said thats right $1 a page...plus the per minute cost to use their computer which makes it over $1 per page. He recommended that I print one copy and then use the copy machine to make a second copy. It was such a waste of time and money to deal with them. I went to Office Depot and it was SO much faster, easier and cheaper. All I had to do was send my email to the store and the woman printed the files for me. It took a fraction of the time and was less than half the price.

If there was a zero I would have clicked it. This is the 4th time I have went in this store and they did not have white card stock which is pretty basic for a Paper Store. I walk in and they have replaced the very convenient paper aisle with paper towel and office cleaner so that is the first thing you see when you walk in. Is this the dollar store or Staples? Customer service over the phone isnt any better. Took me 20 minutes to get through to someone for them to tell me that they do not have white card stock online either and that they could special order it! Really white cardstock? Also their rewards program is very misleading. If you return toner cartridges or anything for additional savings and you did not meet their quota within 2 or 3 months you lose all of your savings you earned. Not very good paper company, horrible and inexperienced customer service, terrible store layout, and misplaced priorities as far as customer satisfaction for PAPER! But if you need to clean or decorate your office then this is the perfect place for you.

Tried to use the printing shipping place several times and the employee that works there completely ignores me. I have to holler and make a stink to get her to walk to the counter and all she does is sigh and roll her eyes. Did it to my Mom too. She could care less about the customers. This is a part of staples that you cant do on your own, you have to place your order, talk about options, or drop off a package and get a receipt. She should NOT be working at this counter if she cant help customers which is her job. There is no job that will pay you to play on your phone and ignore customers. Disgraceful! Will NEVER go back

Ive only had very nice experiences here at this Staples. I always come in when I need printer ink (which they happily price match with Amazon for good deals) and other supplies. I dont know why people are making such a big fuss, but Im perfectly happy shopping here for office supplies. The fact that they do price match is great because I can get stuff right away instead of buying from Amazon and waiting for shipping.
