I had an iphone 6s with a cracked screen and took it in to get it fixed with a scheduled appointment. All went well and quick while I was at their location. One day later there was a bright hot spot at the top of the phone that had not been there and I noticed that the swiping wasnt working well. I took the phone back in and they replaced the screen without issue. A few days later I experienced the same issues. Two weeks later I couldnt use the phone when talking because the screen was so wonky and sensitive it would press every button on the screen because of contact with my face and ear. At this point the phone would not work correctly with swiping or calling and would automatically zoom in and do various other odd things. None of this was present before the 2 screen replacements. After another week the phone completely shut off and would not work, power on, or charge. I took the phone to the Apple store to see what the problem was and it was definitely something on the main board because the phone would not respond in any way. They opened the phone and didnt find anything that should not have been in there but they did say it was poor work and that they did not use new adhesive to remount the screen. I dont know the ins or outs of the tech stuff but Im guessing that is why I had so many issues with the screen interface not working correctly. TLDR: These guys are nice and they may do a good job on your phone, or they might not. Unfortunately in my experience they didnt and the result is a bricked phone. If I had to do it again Id just go straight to Apple.

I received a defective screen with a nick on the edge. When I brought it back for replacement I dropped it off at 4:30pm and was told it would be ready for pick up first thing in the morning. I came back forty minutes after opening and was told the phone wasnt done and they didnt know what needed to be done. They said it would be done in forty five minutes so I cant back in an hour. It wasnt done and I was told it would be just a second the screen was being put on. I sat in the store for twenty minutes with the employee in the back. When one finally came out I asked how much longer it would be and was told fifteen more minutes. When I came back this time the screen was on. When I inspected the screen there was another nick on the top edge of the screen. The employee told me he pulled it out of the box fresh this morning and no one has ever mentioned an issue like that and it was the last screen they had offering no resolution or empathy. This was my first experience with this company and probably my last. I found it completely unacceptable to have no concern shown for my time and to receive two defective screens with no explanation or attempt for resolution. I submitted my complaint through their feedback portal and the number they gave to make it right didnt even work. Such a joke.

So I was hopeful they could fix my phone, unfortunately, they couldnt and thats ok and definitely not the reason for my rating. The reason for my rating is that when I dropped my phone off (day 1), I gave them my husbands number as it would be pointless to call mine. Well, they called & left a message on my number - no call to my husbands phone - which I found out when I called on day 2 for a status update. Zach was very clear & helpful about next steps and I authorized a 2 part repair - water damage repair and replacing the headphone jack if necessary. I was supposed to hear back the next day. Well, by 4:00 on day 3, I still hadnt heard anything back, so I called again for a status update. Tommy (I think) said that the water damage repair didnt work. I asked if the headphone jack had been replaced and he said no, they were waiting on authorization from me. At this point, I had been without my phone for 3 days and the repair still wasnt complete. I was done and chose to pick up my phone and just deal with the minor issue. Im glad they didnt charge me, but Im very annoyed with the lack of communication.

I would have been better off going to Apple. I took my iPhone to the store, which had a simple crack in the screen. Everything was perfect otherwise (brand new iPhone 7 I received two weeks ago) and I was told they priced matched. However when I went to pick my phone up I explained the price difference to a gentleman named Brandon and he said he would price match but told me he will not give me the 15% discount that was promised. He was very rude and short with me. I am a woman of color and noticed he did not speak to men of his race in the same manner. I was able to use my phone for two days before noticing that my ear piece was not messed up and I could only hear others if my phone was on Bluetooth or I had my speaker on. I spoke with a helpful gentleman by the name of Thomas who reassured me that my phone would be fixed. He has been very helpful through the process and displayed sympathy regarding this issue. However, my phone will not be fixed until the middle of the week , next week.

I have been to uBreakiFiz several times (Carmel & 82nd st. location). I would highly recommend either location. Unfortunately, I had some issues with the touch screen I had repaired from the Carmel location and went back to have them fix it. The Carmel location did not have a 6+ screen in stock so they called and found out the 82nd street did. I went immediately to that location because I use my phone for business and cannot be without my cell. Tyler was the gentleman working who is also the stores General Manager. He had already been notified that this was a business phone and had to be fixed right away. He informed me it would take about 30 min to fix so we went out and got dinner. By the time we left dinner, uBreakiFix had already been closed for 15 min. HOWEVER, Tyler had stayed over to ensure I could pick my phone up. What amazing customer service!! I would highly recommend either location. Even if there is a problem with something they have repaired, they make it right!!

The way service should be! Customer Service: 5/5 From the moment I called to the moment I walked in, customer service was like friends helping friends. I received nothing but honest & very well informed information. They are not in business to nickel & dime you. Before any work is done, they make sure to go over all the costs & solutions. Your the boss. Turnaround Time: 5/5 Super fast. I made it to the gas station a few blocks away & received a call that my MacBook was ready. Glass replacement on my iPhone was about an hour. Quality work: 5/5 All work is double checked by their team and again when you arrive. Price: 4.5/5 They will match competitors pricing. Lobby: 5/5 Very clean. Boy, those chairs, are they for sale? Overall: $300 well spent. They fixed my MacBook & iPhone very quickly and went out of their way to thank me. This will be the only place I will come back to.
