I have been to another Goodwill Outlet store in west side Indy. This Greenwood store is a lot nicer and cleaner and cahsiers are nicer than that another Goodwill Outlet store. I visit this store often and enjoy dogging for bargains. Regular items including clothes are $0.99 per pound. Glasses are $0.29 per pound. Shoes are $1.79 per pound, I think. Books are sold by a piece. I think hardcover books are $0.99 each and softcover books/magazines are $0.50 each. If you are not sure how much it would cost, ask a cashier nicely to weigh the item for you or just place the item on the scale at the closes cash register. If you have a Goodwill reward membership (free to join), you will get additional 10% off when your total price is more than $20. Also, 1st Saturdays are additional $0.20 off per pound, making regular items at $0.79 per pound. However, you need to expect the crowds and stand in line for a long time to pay. I have found many interesting things at this store. I bought some of them but no all. If you like to dig through for a good bargain, you may like this store. BTW, I know some people suggest to take a pair of gloves. I decided staying away from broken glasses and washing hands afterwards seem to work fine for me. Just watch your kids if you are taking kids with you. They bring new bins out every hour and it is very dangerous for kids to be running around, etc.

Its filthy. Goodwill, which is NOT a charity but a for-profit corporation, claims their chief aim is to provide jobs to people. Customers wonder where these people are when: we have to stand in the check-out lanes for 30 minutes at a time, waiting for someone, anyone, to appear at a register; when there are hundreds of shoes, all being either the left or the right, almost none of them tied together, so what good does it do to shop? When: we pick up a bedspread or sheet or a comforter and out falls a sex toy, namely a penis ring or a vibrator; when, a bin is saturated with oil or grease and is never removed from the floor. When: the prices and policies should be posted on the walls, and not up on the ceiling where no one who is hunting for bargains ever looks. Goodwill stores charge as much for broken, dirty, ragged and severely used items as chain stores charge for new ones. This "outlet" is actually a landfill at 99 cents a pound.

Absolutely horrible! I was SO excited to check out this HUGE Goodwill store, thinking it would be so organized and full of stuff, and I was HIGHLY disappointed last night on my first trip over. They are only using a small part of the store, which is fine. What was horrible was how everything was thrown in bins, not organized at all, not clean, and when I say "thrown" in a bin I mean literally thrown in a bin. Electronics and all. There was a half empty coke bottle in one bin, amongst many other ridiculous things. I left so upset because my hopes were set too high walking in. I wont be returning.

Love this place... Great deals and its fun hunting for what you didnt even know you wanted or needed. We took out daughter and her friend with $10.00 each they were so funny to watch them shopping. In the cart out of the cart with all kinds of stuff. Begging us to stay until the bins got changed out. I think this is a great place for them to learn many life skills. Understanding the value of money, as well as priority. We will definitely be taking the kiddos back. Thank-you goodwill. Keep up the great job.

Please ignore the ignorance of the negative reviews about this location. if you do not know what a Goodwill Outlet is please do some research. This location is immaculate for a Goodwill Outlet. The staff is friendly and most importantly if you frequent these types of Goodwills the other customers are not rude and actually bathe. Do your research and decide if this type of store is for you.

Disorganized, DIRTY, staff not very helpful. I guess if you knew beforehand the kind of outlet this was, it wouldnt be a surprise to you. I, however, was not prepared, and was disgusted by the type of shopping. They do price by the pound, so if you are ready to get your hands dirty, therm it might be the place for you.

Its confusing and overwhelming when you first walk in. Staff can be a little (albeit understandibly) rude sometimes. Most importantly though- you can find some INSANELY good deals. Pay by the pound.

LOVE this Outlet store! So much cleaner than the other 3 in the area! My children commented on how much cleaner it was and smelled. So happy that this store location is open!

Good place to deliver. New building, and easy in and out. Huge lot to turn around and back in. Friendly staff, and usually out within 2 hours. Can shop while you wait.

Bring gloves for digging in bins. Can be shards and broken things. If you enjoy the hunt for things, you can get some really good deals in the purchase by weight.

The best of the local bin stores. Can get rowdy with uncontrolled children and surly staff but compared to other Indy locations its the cream of the crop.

People are rude and will run into you with carts. Some aCT like savages over second hand stuff. God forbid, you pick up something of someone elses :/

It reminded me of Lord of the flies. Just a big mosh pit of people swarming around each other digging through these big blue bins. It was chaotic.

Never know what you might find. The hunt is half the fun, but bring gloves if possible because you never know what might be in the bins!

Looks huge from the outside, but is surprisingly small inside... I guess it might grow. There is plenty of floor space to work with.
