I shot out an inquiry to uBreakiFix and several other electronic repair shops on Yelp to get the wifi on my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro fixed. Within an hour, the owner of this store responded (others took 2-4 hours to respond). They were able to diagnose quickly while in the store, the communication while the repair was being done was very prompt and the repair was actually done way ahead of schedule. I think the best thing about this particular business (which may seems petty and insignificant to some) is that the owner responded first and started with "Im very sorry to hear about your laptop!" The other responses were relatively prompt as well, but were very straight-to-business and lacked that initial emotional acknowledgement. Electronics breaking is an emotional experience, no matter how much you try to depersonalize it; it might just be a simple sentence, but just that alone is indicative of the level of care for the customer and business. This store has all the elements of a good business experience: Frequent, positive customer touchpoints, appropriately-valued pricing and timeliness. Im very glad I found this place instead of doing a big box store or colder business.

Brought my laptop in because I cracked my screen. I was going out of town for a few days so I didnt mind that it would take them a while to order the part, etc. I got a call about an hour after leaving saying this part they can only find in China so its going to take longer to get, but I can use my laptop in the meantime and theyll call me when to bring it in. Fast forward- It turns out my screen comes in two parts, one part came once and it was broken so they had to re-order it, then when that part came they opened the part that wasnt broken but ended up breaking that one--- The owner then proceeded to tell me "But this is a training experience for my team." Why am I paying for that as a customer? He ended up not charging me but never let me forget it. Kept say, but youre not paying for it so its fine. No sir, its not fine. It took you over a month to fix my screen and even now the right part isnt on it, they just made something work. I shouldnt have paid for it whether you think youre doing me a favor or not. Ive gone to other locations for fixes and they have been great- but not this one. I would never go there again.

Extremely poor customer service! I have used the shop to replace a screen on Google Nexus 6P phone. I have spent 15 minutes talking to the guy specifically calling out that I will need to get it done by certain date, as it is my sisters who lives overseas and is leaving. They assured me that everything would be done on time. It took them 9 days to fix it and they didnt do a good quality job - the screen works, but it is not fit into the frame and there is a huge gap on the perimeter of the phone because of that. They have also scratched the back panel when opened it. I came back to get money for the repair back. The sales agent called the store manager to ask what to do and the guy didnt even want to apologize or talk to me. I will be disputing a charge through my credit card company. That was an unbelievable $220 waste.

Excellent customer service, and device was completely repaired in a timely manner. When a secondary issue popped up (possible due to/aggravated by original repair) they did not hesitate to cover it under their 90 warranty, and stressed my money would be refunded if they were unable to repair it. While it was inconvenient to have to go through them for another round of repair, I find this to be very telling with regard to their customer service. Nothing goes right 100% of the time...how a company behaves when problems like that occur can often be more important, and this only served to reinforce the 5-star rating. I was kept informed of the anticipated repair process, chances of success and made aware of their warranty and "if it isnt fixed, you dont pay for it" policy upfront.

Mike at UBreakIFix has been absolutely amazing. Ive had to go in 3 times in the past month with issues and hes been very patient and very helpful. He exhibited that he cared about his customers and made sure he did his best to fix the (many) issues I had on my iPhone without any frustration or impatience. He not only fixed my cracked screens, but he also took the time to educate me on the workings of the iPhone and gave me tips and knowledge if I ever needed to do troubleshooting at home. I highly recommend these guys. I always have no doubt theyll do what they need to to fix any problems. Its worth money being spent if it needs to be and you know youre in good, experienced hands.

Great customer service, they took time to explain what they did and that was a FREE diagnostic!!!! After going to the Naperville store and given the run around, it was refreshing to find honest, hard working techs! Clean waiting area, but did not wait!! 30 seconds after I walked in the door an additional tech was called to help me. The two times I was there (pick up & drop off) they helped other customers with tech problem, answered questions and again FREE!! Never felt rushed or that I was wasting their time. THANKS guys, you rock

My daughter and I arrived at the Danada Square store in Wheaton at 4:45 this past Saturday, 9/26/15. She had a cracked Galaxy S5 screen from dropping it. The store was closing in 15 minutes and the very knowledgeable and very nice staff stayed overtime, well past 5:00PM to repair her phone as good as new!!! This business is very well run and the staff is willing to go out of their way to be of service to you. I cant say enough about the excellent service they provided to my daughter & I !!!

Honest, knowledgeable, straight forward electronic repair store. They got my wifes S5 speaker replaced same day for under $100. A few months later the screen went out and it turned out to be more than the screen that needed fixed. The cost was equal to a new phone and they understood and werent upset that we just took the phone back. Ive also had good luck with the Naperville location so I think its safe to say the chain in general is reputable and honest.

Too much adhesive around the edges, on the antenna and led indicator light is now covered/blocked. Very quick and sloppy didnt spend much time and rush thru repair service. Screen works but i asked manager to replace lcd again as part of 90 day warranty due to ongoing difficulties with service and told me it costs them to much to use another lcd to repair and to pay 100$ if i want it done. Very poor experience would not recommend.

Shattered my screen a few weeks back and originally went to apple... Well just leave it at that. Went to U break I fix today and was pleasantly surprised with the excellent experience! You could tell that they knew what they were doing and had your best interest at heart. Hopefully I dont need to go back but I will recommend to all of my family and friends!

I got my SE screen replaced. My phone worked better with a cracked screen than it did with the replacement. I have come in three times and they havent fixed it .It gets worse every time. Never coming again. Glitches all the time and never responds to my touch. Cant even type without having sporadic letters being typed. Never get your phone fixed here
