Great place to purchase your next mattress! They have about 100 locations all in the greater Chicago area. Every single mattress on display is made in the USA. American Mattress is also the largest Tempurpedic Mattress dealer in Illinois. If you like to "Shop Local" this store is for you. The two owners live in Illinois and offer great delivery service as they have their own delivery trucks and the drivers are actually employees of the company. My favorite mattress is the Apollo because it has a 15 year warranty which is non prorated. Most other brands have a 10 year prorated warranty. The company that manufactures the Apollo has been in business for over 75 years.

Just purchased a new Icomfort bed from Chris S. At the Round lake beach American mattress store. Great experience. Chris is very knowledgeable about all the types of mattresses, and let me tell you I had a lot of questions. Haha...anyways we shopped at many other Mattress stores and was not impressed. The owners of Sleepys and Mattress firm need to hire Chris so he can train their employees how to be curtious and respectful to the customer. Chris was not pushy at all, like your typical car salesman. So if your looking for the right deal and to not be pressured for a quick sale, go see Chriss at the Round lake beach American Mattress

I came to this location yesterday being disappointed in a different location feeling like they were just trying to make a sale off me and not care about my needs. When I came to RLB, the store manager, Chris, LISTENED to what my needs were. I mentioned the amount of money I have to spend and not once did he push to go over, but instead he helped discount items to keep me under my limit. I felt like I was listened to and that my needs were cared for and met. Thank you Chris for all your help. You have a very satisfied customer! :)

Crystal, our salesperson, is professional, personable, with a sense of humor and in 15 minutes before we bought our mattress and new coconut pillow, we learned more about mattresses than weve ever know. Shes fabulous, a keeper and deserves managerial status. American Mattress delivers next day for free, takes away your old mattress, and the very best, the mattresses are made in America, keeping jobs for Americans!! We are totally pleased! Easy parking; great selection.

Went in on the 6th of this month not really knowing what to expect. Chris Stoughton was the salesman who assisted me and he made the experience easy and rather fun. I had never purchased a bed before and it had seemed daunting but Chris walked me through the process and helped me to find the perfect bed for the best price. I Was very nervous about purchasing a mattress, wanted the best mattress for my buck. I explored a couple of other mattress places but wasnt quite satisfied. American mattress was my last stop, very irritable at this point. A sales man (I believe Erik) was very approachable and assured me he can find what I was looking for. I originally went to Sleepys to purchase my son a mattress, but walk out when the salesmen were laying on the beds and couldnt give me any quality information about their beds. Amazing!!!! So helpful! After going to multiple stores for a new mattress I went to American mattress and the salesman there was so nice. Understood that I had a budget I had to stay on and help me get more for my buck. Will definitely recommend to all my friends and family. We went to the store to buy our daughter a "big girl" bed. Chris was great. Very patient with a 4 year old trying all the beds. He was honest and didnt try to over sell us. UPDATE....I bought the wrong size bed (what a doof!!). Called the store on Monday. Patrick made the exchange without hesitation or hassle. Im very pleased!!
