Back in March, we met with Lou our sales rep and received pricing and measurements. Pricing was supposed to include the laminate that we picked out, baseboard and quarter round in white (finished product) and floors were to be sealed. We were told that as long as we put down a deposit, our pricing would be held. End of May, called Lou and let him know that we were ready to set up the installation. I was told by Lou that it would only take about a week for them to schedule the appointment. I called every week for 3 weeks about installation and was told to they would call to find out Lou had given them wrong numbers. Ryan the supervisor for the installers called almost right away. He wanted to confirm what color laminate and baseboards and said that the product had to be put in the house at least 72 hours before the install and then they have the installer come out. I confirmed the color and the products and asked about how long it would take the sealing of the floor. He told me that they do not seal the floors. I told him, Art Van will not be doing the floors if they are not going to the full job - sealing the floors is not an option. He said he would ask about this and give me a call. Received a call from Justin, who is the head salesperson at the store apparently the next day. He said that we could buy the products and that he would personally come out and seal the floors with a small crew after the installer removed the flooring. i would just need to buy the product for the floors. i told him we would do some research and get back to him.It was just two cans and it was only $40 but we wouldnt be charged for the labor so ok. We wouldnt have to start over finding flooring and a company to work with. So, we agreed to it. I verified with Justin and Ryan that the installation should not take more than 2 days and if it did their installers work Saturdays so it would be done no later than Saturday morning if they came out on Thursday to do the install. So, i call Ryan back and finish setting up the installation. I verify with him that he does not have installers that are scared of dogs and if they are, that they would not be coming to our house.I had explained to him with the layout of our kitchen (they were doing the flooring in our living room and dining room) and the fact we have about a 6 month old puppy at that time. The puppy would probably figure out a way to get out. So, installation was set up for June 15th. First day goes well with the exception Justin did not bring supplies to put down the sealant and installer was deathly afraid of dogs. Second day of installation, Ramos (installer) shows up on time but still afraid of dogs, leaves garbage under laminate and runs out of material. Call Ryan and Justin and all they have to do is run material out to us and they would be done shortly after. End result - told they couldnt make the 40 min drive to us because it was too close to closing time. The installer offered to come back the next day and finish the job with his 6 year old child. The installation group was fine with him bringing his kid. I even told them we were told finishing the job on Saturday would not be a problem but they wont have anyone there until Monday morning.Ramos also took two boxes of laminate when he left and just before that found out the baseboard and quarter round are not finished products they are only primed - i now have to pay someone to paint the new baseboard. I could have gone to home depot and had finished product installed.I had to take another day off of work. Installer didnt bother to show up until 5:02pm and he took another job before coming out to ours to finish it. I was originally told when he didnt show up after calling Lou, Justin and Ryan they would just be out the next day. Told them i dont have any more time off, you already cost me. Had to be finished Monday. Message me for more information.

Purchased a chest on Sunday, July 30th. Was told it would be ready for pick up Friday. I moved my furniture in preparation, emptied my drawers. Just to be told it was on "back order" and wouldnt be ready for another 2 weeks. I was never made aware of this at the time of purchase...if so, I would of never purchased the piece because I needed it quickly! They offered me the floor model and said it was in great condition...which I do not understand since when I saw it it had a large scratch and the drawers were very dirty. Salesman clearly just wanted the sale. Customer service has not been helpful or accommodating. I have purchased here before and enjoyed my experience but this most recent experience has ended that. I will not be returning.

Never buy the good furniture from a garbage store. They people who are handling the store in Glendale heights will ruin the whole name and fame of ART VAN. They are rude. i ordered a full size, a twin size and king size bed they delivered me absolutely wrong thing and now they are telling me to deliver the right stuff on their own convenience. they are not sure about when i will get my delivery. they are taking the order of mattresses right now which are going to be delivered in June. if you are planning to buy stuff from there you must be ready to take three or for leaves from your job to wait for the stuff to be delivered whether it is right or wrong. highly dissatisfied....

The sleeper sofa that I ordered was not as comfortable in the store and the seat cushions started rippling/dimpling within 15 minutes of sitting on them. I had a technician out to evaulate and decided that new cushions needed to be ordered. A full 4 WEEKS later, they were delivered....only they were the wrong cushions. When I called customer service, I was told they could "try" to put a rush on them but couldnt promise anything.

Me and my girlfriend came in to get bedroom set we were helped by a gentleman named Ashley who was very friendly and helpful. He really made it a great experience for us compared to the 11 other furniture stores we visited. Even though some of our furniture wasnt in stock and it would be a wait we liked Ashley so much we decided to wait it out. He is truly a amazing salesperson.

Tina listened to what I wanted and showed me furniture that matched my requirements. I was not shown the "most expensive" items in the store - just what matched what I wanted. My son purchased furniture from this store 6 months ago and is very happy with his purchase which is why I bought from here.
