My wife and I went to Ashley in Vernon Hills to purchase a new bed and some dressers for the master bedroom. When we entered the store, we were immediately impressed with the sheer size of the showroom and the amount of beautiful furniture on display. After looking around for a minute or two we were approached by a gentleman named Frank Razzino. He introduced himself briefly, told us a bit about how the pricing worked and what sales were going on, and then he did something furniture store salespeople rarely do. He left us alone to shop, checking in with us occasionally to see if we had any questions, or needed any assistance, but not hovering over our shoulders. We told him what we were looking for, and what we were looking to spend for it, and he pointed us in the direction of the items that met our criteria. He didnt try to oversell us. He offered suggestions, but soft ones. When we said no to something, he didnt try to force us to change our mind. He didnt try to tell us why we should buy item A instead of Item B. He simply helped us locate the best fit for our needs and our budget. In fact, he figured out a few ways to help us save a couple of dollars on our purchase, which was already at a great sale price. We even got the extended warranty plan for free. Frank is a true old school gentleman of a salesman. The store is lucky to have him. Our delivery was scheduled for just two business days later, and as promised, we recieved a call letting us know what our delivery window was. The delivery guys arrived within said window, and were extremely fast and professional in setting up and assembling our furniture. Wearing slip on covers over their shoes so as not to track any dirt in, they took great care in handling each piece they brought into the house. They hauled away our old mattress and boxspring, and were in and out in fifteen minutes. From start to finish, our experience was not only a painless one, but a friendly and enjoyable one as well. Bravo to Ashley, to their delivery guys, and most importantly, to our salesman, Frank Razzino for A++ customer service. Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Vernon Hills has earned a couple of loyal customers. We will definitely be making all of our future furniture purchases here.

They actually had a nerve to send me an email asking to review them. I guess, you asked for it. Experience - absolutely horrible. We moved, thus change of address. Gave them the old address for billing and the new one for shipping. First delivery: 1 piece damaged, 1 nonfunctional. Delivery people said to call the store. Called the store, they told me to call the 866 number. Called the number, I was told I will be contacted to schedule exchange date. A week later got a phone call with recorded message stating when the delivery date is without asking me if it was a good date for me. Had to stay home and not go to work on that date. Second delivery: Called me and said they only had 1 piece to exchange, the other one is out of stock. Came and exchanged the piece. Showed me their papers for the 2nd piece to be exchange - wrong piece. The guy tried to fix the 2nd piece instead of exchanging, could not do it. I went to the store, demanded them to schedule exchange delivery for the correct piece on a date that works for me. Third delivery: Called me and asked me to come outside and meet them. I did. 10 minutes later called me again asking to come out and meet them.... this is when I realized they went to my old (billing) address. Told me they will come later in the day. Thus, another day wasted waiting for them. Came in and exchanged the final piece. Upon rearranging all the furniture we realized that another piece wasnt working properly. I went to the store and told them to exchange the piece. The guy at the store convinced me to have a technician come out and try to repair the piece. They made sure that the technician is going to the right address and erased the old address from their system. I had to take a day off work again to meet the technician. Since it was a day off, I arranged for some other delivery on the same date. Just now got a phone call from technician confirming him going to the wrong address. Told him the address is wrong. He said he wont come, since he wont be anywhere close to the new address. The technician visit now has to be rescheduled. Unbelievable. Will never shop there again. Waste of personal time.

I hope somebody read my experience with these thugs. I order many furniture over 3 houses, until now. I ordered my bed in November and was promised my bedroom set to arrive in December before the new year and thats why I bought it on that condition and I booked my dates for December 23rd THE night before I get text service from the person who sold me the furniture that it will be delayed to 31st comes the new year I get again text from Ashley saying it is delayed and unfortunately it will take 6 more weeks to deliver. Now I am without bed for 2.5 months. Mid February I get my furniture FINALLY ! No it dose not end there at 3 am 10 days later the bed just breaks! YES just breaks! Now call again to get new bed frame. 45 minutes × 5 to order a part. Wait 1 month no part yet. Call the store as Ashley Furniture customer online will at least take 45 min to talk to someone who has no clue and then say sorry this is not the right number, call store, go in person.. etc... wait on phone now we are 5.5 without bed and sleep on the floor while paying 3000 for this peace. ....NOW THESES are bunch of clueless managers and customer service employees who will cancel or no show yesterday with appoint booked by the store manager himself with now courtesy call that they will not deliver the part. Please anyone out there help! What can I do?! Updates Wednesday the 19th 2017as promised by the store manager but nobody showed up or text/call to give me an update. April. 22. 2017 Update Saturday again the store manager and customer service manager has promised that someone will call the night before. No call yesterday or today so far and am still waiting.

Our Store experience and Salesman Michael, was a blessing. But the delivery experience was terrible. All stores subcontract to delivery warehouses and we were assigned to the 3 stooges. We just had the home remodeled because of water damage and the bedroom set was our way to get back into our home. Not so much, not only did part of the bed arrive damaged, the delivery men left the room in disarray and we had to have a second delivery. It seemed no one prepared those men for what they were walking into. Our contractor returned Monday Tuesday and Friday to repair the damaged walls. The shipper one HomeDeliveryLink, did agree to pay for the contractors repair work. Still waiting on payment.. I think our salesmans knowledge and experience though helpful did not prepare us for the disappointment in delivery It is not just research about products for "buyer beware" anymore, One has to research every detail of a company. There is no customer appreciation. What should have been a joyous occasion wound up with a trip back to the store, a call to the contractor, many visits home for repairs during work time and though I love my bedroom set, if I had known all this, I would have opted for a hay cot and a sheet.
