Stopped in after calling to see if Zimmer had the ***impossible*** to find baseboard air grille of the dimensions of the old one I was replacing. Nancy showed me what they had in stock but none would match the old ones size. She asked me to leave a note regarding what I was looking for and said she would have her people attempt to find it. The next day Nancy called and said she had it. I picked it up the next day and it was a perfect fit. Zimmer is always the "go to" place to find what you need! Thank you, Nancy!!! Al Wilson

What a great, old school store. The owner (Nancy) is awesome with a great sense of humor. If you dont see something ask for it. She probably has it in the back. I walked with her through the back and she has literally tons of inventory. Even though the prices are a little higher that HD or Lowes, it feels good to support the local store. I

The oldest store in Palatine I think but in a good way. The vintage look makes you want to come here for your basic hardware needs. It has a small town feel, all the necessities, and its right in downtown Palatine. Owners and staff are always great.
