Very poorly run. Went there today for the flower sale and there were over 100 people there and lines to the back of the store and literally only TWO registers open.SERIOUSLY?! on your busiest day? There were employess walking around with nothing to do which was even more irritating. I got home and noticed that all my plants cells were completely DRY! I am hoping that I am able to revive them, otherwise this "sale" is not worth the trouble. This is not the first time I have had problems at this location either. Most of the employees are very nice (not so much the manager) and you can tell there is some disconnect between the two. Hopefully they get their act together. :(

Ninja Of Irony

Some of the worst customer service Ive experienced in a long time. I came in to get a pair of car keys copied for one of my relatives, but I had questions about the getting another alarm on the set. I walked up to the manager who was talking and joking around with his employees and another customer. He immediately reacted angrily the minute I began to talk to him, and he seemed to get more and more upset with each question I asked. To the point where he was pretty much yelling at me and his face was red. No exaggeration. I dont know what his problem is. And I will not be returning to this location ever again.

I grew up about a block from this store, and now live in Homewood. Anytime I need to go to a hardware store, I drive to the Orland Hills location because the service is SUPERB. Today, I had two keys cut, and the level of customer service and knowledge I received from George was fantastic. Polite, professional, courteous, and efficient. 10/10. I will continue to make the 20+ mile drive to Orland Hills anytime I need anything Ace provides. Highly recommend.

Had a bad experience. After a long week of being constantly busy, I finally managed to have time to go in. It was 7:15 PM (45 minutes before close) and an older guy was closing up the store. Being confused, I called them and they said it was closed, but verifying that closing time was 8. Please update you hours and have nicer customers.
