So this review is based on two separate visits. The first visit, where I strictly sold. And the second visit, where I simply bought. The buy process is fairly accessible and the wait time was minimal. However the process was not explained at all. The guy behind the counter asked me for my ID. I told him Ive never sold before. He punched in my information and said it will be 15 minutes--that was the extent of the explanation regarding their buy process. After 15 minutes passed, he said he was ready and said this exactly: "We can give you $24 store-credit or $12 cash." I said store credit would be fine and he said: "Okay. Thanks have a good day." I had to ask how I even redeem my store credit. The payout for my items wasnt explained at all either...but I didnt mind. $24 in store credit for a box of books I wasnt using was fine...I was somewhat happy with that. Though two weeks later, I go back to purchase an item...I get to the counter and my total was $14 and some change. I told the cashier I had a store credit. He takes my drivers license and then says: "Okay. You owe $1 and some change." I was somewhat shocked. I said I should have $24 in-store credit. He says the computer says otherwise. Because I was given no receipt or proof of when I sold or how much I was told I got, I just had to pay my dollar and leave. I couldnt even argue. The cashier was really nice about it. And working in retail, I knew his hands were tied. But not as tied as mine were without a receipt. There was nothing I couldve done to prove I shouldve had $24 in-store credit. I was pumped to offload some of my collectibles and books I no longer use, but I think at this point Ill donate to avoid getting scammed in the future. In summary, avoid selling if you can. Theyll rip you off. And avoid the introverted punk with the hipster haircut behind the buy counter.

Looks just like a Barnes & Noble inside. This is a LARGE store with books, comics, vinyl, video games, t-shirts, and probably a 100 other things I missed. I was there to look at some books and records. Records are decently priced, but the new stuff is mixed with the used. So youll find a $20 Metallica album, then a $3 Three Dog Night album in the same bin, side by side. There is a good amount of records, and theyre divided into groups, but dont trust the grouping. Theres Rock, Jazz, Blues, R&B, and Im not sure if the store doesnt know the typical genres for artists, or if customers are moving them around, but theyre frequently in the wrong spot. I didnt look much at book prices, but most of the store is books. Extremely cool display at the far end of the store that shows their name (check the picture I posted). Its also in an enormous plaza. So if youre window shopping, or trying to accomplish multiple tasks, this could be an easy stop.

i go into the store all the time, it is a nice store, i have sold alot of books, and movies and i think that it is unfair how they judge that i sold brand new movies and tv shows that were not even opend and they only gave me $12 dollars in cash or $20 dollars store credit, i asked them why was it that low of money when half of those items were not even opend they just shock there heads i was very upset by that and another insadent was i was purchasing a bunch of books for gifts and the cashier just kept on saying wow this is alot of stuff over and over again it was very mean and unprofessional i am not happy with this store at all

Both visits to see my numerous books have been disappointing for sure. Havent even reached $1 value according to their staff - both times I went to sell there.I would suggest selling here only as a 2nd option. The first visit I had a good amount of doubt that they even followed through with placing the books I wanted designated in the l free section in the right place within the facility. My afterthought was -being gyped. The 2nd visit they lost the book that they wanted to buy from me immediately. If anything on the back of the store the wall made of books is the only interesting significant feature!

Great customer service! I asked about availability for a game console via instant message and received a fast response. The console was held for me and in great condition. The rest of the store reminds me of the best parts of a comic convention - everything pop culture! Great selection of retro video games and vinyl records, if youre into that. Friendly staff, too. Looking forward to many more visits!

They have a pretty good selection of hard to find books, comics and manga. The sales associates are always super helpful and friendly. Loss of one star because their "buy back window" closes two hours before the store does which I find odd. Loss of one more star because they dont do special orders. If they dont have it then youre SOL.

Stopped in because of the huge variety of used books and games for my grandkids but also ended up buying a very nice tube powered, audiophile grade integrated stereo power amp. Both Bear and Justin were a pleasure to deal with.

I go here for all my video game and comic needs. A little lacking in retro games (mostly sports games for the Sega Genesis and the like) but usually fantastic. Great prices, very organized, and a great atmosphere.

Outstanding selection of new, vintage and hard to find video games, as well as board games, toys, and other random odds and ends. It’s pretty much a one stop shop for birthday and Christmas shopping for my son.

They have a massive stock and knowledgeable and personable staff. Prices are only good on used stuff, however. Lots of fun stuff... toy store plus bookstore plus record store plus huge movie library.

Very cool store for books, movies, games, and all sorts of nerdy things (video games, comic books, anime figures). I aways find something new and interesting when I go there.

Concerning Vinyl - great selection but expect to pay on average $10-$15 more than what youd pay for new vinyl off Amazon.
