I bought a couch in November that cost me $1650. Within 3 months one of the covers split and the other started to fray. I called the room place and they told me 4-6 weeks for the replacement covers. It is now 2 months later...while still waiting for 1 cover the couch is broken. Literally sitting on a slant because , what looks to me as if the frame is broken. and another cover is split. I called them in April the lady on the phone sets up a service appointment for me. The day before the appointment they call me and tell me they are waiting on a part. How they can determine what "part" I need over the phone beats me but they tell me the part is not available until May 25th. They are going to receive the part then send it to me then I can call and set an appointment While waiting for this "part" another cushion splits. I call to complain...you never get any apologies from customer service about the bad experiences... They act as if you are bothering them and your money is not important. I Have purchased furniture from here before which I had bad experiences with as well but I thought I would give it another chance. What a huge mistake! So today Im told they are going to send a technician but my torn covers are now not available till JUNE! Seriously a brand new couch and it is in shambles. I asked to speak to a manager, of course, the "supervisor" was not available and I will supposedly get a call back. I wont hold my breath!! Apparently The Room Place does NOT appreciate there customers and they think people dont work hard for their money. They also have terrible quality furniture and even worse customer service. Its now 1 month that I have been sitting on my crooked broken couch, cant wait to find out how they will treat me during my service appointment. Im sure they will find a way to get more money out of me. A couch should not last 3 months before falling apart! You should be able to keep a couch for 10+ years if you want. Such a disappointment such terrible merchandise and terrible terrible customer service. I feel as if Ive been scammed and taken advantage of! Thank you to The Room Place for teaching me a lesson to Never Ever spend another penny with you! Thank you for making this the worst possible experience with a business that I have ever had! Thank you for training your customer service reps that they dont need customer service at all to work for you! You are all scammers!

I spent about $10k at Harlem and bought whole set of furnitures for my first house over one year ago. Four of the six dining room chairs legs broke. We bought insurance. They sent the repair person to GLUE the broken part. Of course, a week later, they broke again. The repair person even told us that the Harlem furniture is not expected to last longer than 5 years. The second time when we called the insurance, they refused to honor any repair or replacement of the broken chairs. We had another piece of a set which has some problem. We also purchased insurance. They asked us to go to the store to get a replacement up to the value of what we paid. We found the identical piece in the store. The store asked us to pay for the difference of $100 between what we paid as one piece of a set and the price as sold individually. We didnt agree and spoke with the saleperson and the manager. Before we get out of the store, the sales person together with other two employess about 10 feet away from us started to chat about us (not good words). One of the employees was the person who we bought the $10k furniture from and he didnt even say hi when we saw each other face to face and I nodded to him. He seemed to want to be our best friend when we bought the furniture from him twice. Definitely should stay away from.

I came in the other day to buy a bed set, and I received great service from the manager Tanveer Siddiqui. He was extremely helpful and was very honest, something that other locations didnt provide for me. If you do go there, they have lots of terrific furniture, but ask to see the Sales Manager Tanveer, so you can be helped greatly. He was able extremely honest and helpful and I highly recommend coming here to get your furniture.

I dont recommend this place because I brought two mattress and year and half the spring are broken a part in had a protection plan they refuse to take they dont tell the truth how its going to cover what is the plan they gave me excuse to ignore the protection plan for my two mattress ..dont trust ..they are cheated me..I would never ever recommended for any body because what they did to me

I recently bought a sectional and put a bed on layaway. I had a great experience with Harlem and my salesperson was wonderful. I had to cancel the layaway (bed was too big for the room) they gave me all my money back and they gave no hassle about doing so. I have a few more items to purchase and I will be doing so with them. Best experience I have had in a while in making a larger purchase.

I have never had such a wonderful experience while shopping for furniture. The entire staff is so lovable they are all willing to help and have a great load of information about all of their products. The prices are great and they really have a nice selection in all categories. If your in the market for furniture make sure you visit this store store.

The staff was nice but the manager was so rude, I never seen a manager like this his name is zoran, instead of helping the situation he made it worst and went to his office and say down, so unprofessional and so rude, we spend more than 13.000.00 in this place, but he never go back because of this a..hole

Terrible customer service. Avoid Dempster location. David, the manager, not a nice person. No one calls to reschedule delivery. I called three times already expecting my coffee table they postpone the delivery date every time.
