Came in because of the good reviews and was surprised to find furniture for all budgets at great prices. Staff was friendly and low pressure. After some time roaming around I decided on a set. That is when the trouble began. Even after charging me for delivery, they were extremely inflexible and unprofessional in regards to giving me a set date and time on when the delivery would happen or if they would be able to fulfill the delivery within my requirements. My simple parameters: any weekday evening or weekend. After confirming they would not be able to deliver it on an evening they advised they would not be able to deliver it until more than a week later. Makes no sense since they already have it in stock. Really wish this family business acted like they appreciated all business regardless of where you live in Chicago.. Since they didnt seem to care for my business and were busy with other deliveries, I did them a favor and canceled my order. It turned out working in my favor once I went to "REZ furniture" in Melrose Park and got an incredible deal on a higher quality, handcrafted set of furniture which was delivered flawlessly and with a smile in 2 days. Wont be coming back to Furniture City.
