Followed Svetlana from Target Optical and can we say, upgrade?! Not only is their boutique fun and exquisitely decorated, they have the most extensive selection of designer eyeglasses ranging from simple and clean to fun and fabulous (more my style). Dr. Pikus never rushes through the exam, taking time to answer my questions and ask about my health other than my eyes. She knows Im apprehensive about going to see the specialist and, to make sure I get the help I need, offered to see me as long as possible in her office and bill my medical insurance (which must be a hassle), seeing me with their state-of-the-art equipment. Then comes the fun part! If you want to be treated like a rock-star, you will get the royal treatment when picking out glasses! They gave me honest opinions about what worked and what didnt with styles and laughed with me throughout. They even had a little competition on whose frames I would choose! (Dr. Pikus won...) After I left, I had a problem with the itemized bill that they had given me. The amounts werent clear (due to the program they use, not their error) and I needed them to be clear for my flex-spending. I called before closing hours same day and spoke with Ray with Dr. Pikus in the background helping. They completed the bill on the phone and even emailed it to me immediately. It was exactly what I needed. Overall, a fantastic experience and I can tell Dr. Pikus is in her element with great people (husband included) by her side. She knows eyes and is more of a caregiver than a doctor. For someone who needs to go to the eye-doctor more than I do, she makes it painless and even fun! Highly highly recommend this practice.

I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Pikus. I was welcomed into her beautiful brand new office by Dr Pikus herself and her team with smiling faces!! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming!! She took her time getting to know me and gave a very thorough exam. When is was time to pick out my new frames, Dr Pikus, her husband and her optician, Kozie, all dropped what they were doing to help me try on as many frames as I wanted and helped me pick the perfect pair!! It was the most fun Ive ever had at an eye doctor. Im not a glasses wearing kind of girl only because Ive never found a pair of glasses I loved. Well, since picking up my glasses a couple days ago, I havent taken them off. I am in LOVE with them and how I look in them. Dr. Pikus also helped adjust my contact prescription to help with issues I was having. My new prescription and new brand are so much better than what I had. They were very easy so work with and knew all the ins and outs of my insurance to get the most out of it for me!! They were really phenomenal and I promise you wont find a better eye doctor.

2 reviews 5.0 star rating 1/7/16 If youre looking for one stop shop for great doctor and great spectacles, look no further. Dr. Svetlana Pikus is the best. I never wore glasses before, but started to get blurry vision due to excessive use of computer and phone. My mom has been raving about Dr. Pikus for months, so I gave her a try. She was very thorough with the exam and explained everything she did and why before she did it, which I greatly appreciated. She prescribed reading glasses for me to use while working at computer. Kozie, Dr. Pikus and her husband all chipped in when I asked which pair of glasses looked good and they found some really cool glasses for me to try on. The staff made it a lot of fun to shop for glasses. I ended up buying two pairs because I could not decide on just one. They have a lot very cute, unique, and stylish glasses. Ill be a customer for life!

The Eye Spot offers a wonderful collection of artisan crafted eye frames from around the world. From the moment you walk in youll be mesmerized by all the unique frames in very chic setting. With extremely knowledgeable and expert staff like Scott you can;t go wrong as well as Tony who makes you feel right at home. With such wonderful care you know you found the right spot! To top everything off Dr. Pikus is absolutely amazing. I have been fortunate enough to find her many years ago and have been a loyal follower ever since. Your eyes deserve the best and the Eye Spot provides you with the very best eye care around hands down!

This optical carries cutting edge eyewear. Really cool frames. Pricy yes, but it depends on your priorities. Glasses is the first thing people notice on you, not the shoes, bag or nails. Hair may be, but a fine pair of prescription eyewear or shades is worth every penny for me. Moreover, The Spot carries several companies that are very reasonable but still very, very cool. The lenses are the best I have owned and worn glasses forever. Its like you want to spend money here. The service is also very personal. I was helped by the female doctor owner and her optician Scott I think. Highly recommended.

A very unique optometry office, the one you would only find in Europe, New York or LA. I would never expect to see something like this in Midwest. Dr. Pikus is very warm and personable, and the eye exam I had was very thorough. The vision is great. The eye wear is out of this world. I have bought 3 pairs and will be coming for more. It is not just the selection which is likely the best and most unique in the tristate area, but their service and ability to find the perfect frames to fit your face, balancing the functionality and style is also unparalleled.

I was recommended to this establishment by a coworker. Can I say ABSOLUTLEY! The best eye spot around! The employees are amazing. Very patient with you. Not pushy by any means. You can try on one pair of glasses or 50. They carry different styles of frames then the usual places. I am not a glasses kinda girl, so I explored more of the contact world. I learned a lot from Dr. Pikus. She took the time to explain how to use my contacts and how to keep them clean in order to keep them longer and not waste money on buying new ones when unnecessary.

Stopped on my recent trip to Chicago to refresh my sunglasses. Really impressed by their selection. They carry some cool European brands I never heard of. I picked up a pair of Mykita sunglasses, the same brand that Tony, their optician. wears. Its so light, you forget your wearing the sunglasses. Tony was very helpful and patient in picking the best shape and size to fit my face. He also gave the whole scoop on the materials and how and where they are made. This is my 3rd visit here and The Eye Spot never fails to excite me.

They have outstanding eyewear in entire suburbs. They offer such broad selection of frames, it caters to all existing eye shapes:), and variety of styles will satisfy ultimately particular taste. You can find unique pair that is also affordable. Their optician is very attentive, their customer service is unprecedented. I had absolutely superb experience. I love my new Lindberg and really looking forward to get another pair for the winter. I favor the idea of having a pair of eye glasses that is fit for the season.
