I checked online to make sure they had the pillows in stock that I needed only to find... in store the pillow I wanted was out of stock and nothing was organized. No one was available to help. I settled on a different size pillow. On the way out I found a toy for my son on the clearance rack. The price of the item wasnt marked (and price scanner was broken). I assumed the item would be on clearance since there was a stack of them on the rack. In line we were 10-11 customers deep the whole time (not 11 people deep but 11 transactions deep), I asked 4 employees to open another register while my mom waited in line. No one would open a register. Manger was not available. My sons toy was full priced). Finally we checked out, and as we walked out of the store we realized the coupons were not applied correctly. I filled out Jo-Anns review online and thats when I noticed even the date and time on the receipt were wrong, so I have no hope being able to return items if I needed to.

Worst customer service ever. I went in for one item, a small piece of fabric. It appeared they only had two people working on a Friday night. I had to wait in line to get the fabric cut then again to check out. This literally took 50 mins. Everyone in line was mad. When I was waiting in the check out line another lady appeared and started ringing people up. I was the first person to go to her and she said asked how I was. I told her that I came in for one item and that it has taken almost an hour cause theyre so slow. She didnt say one thing back to me. No apology, nothing. I figured if they dont realize their customers are mad, Id tell them. But for me to tell them and for her to just ignore me. Wow. Normally when I go into this store they are really slow anyway but this experience took the cake. Ill now be either going across the street to Michaels or Hobby Lobby.

Some stuff my store doesnt have, but general stock is lacking. Bathroom had no TP--a must where women shop!--everyone was lackadaisical, not much ambition. New flier out and people asking where some of this stuff was--they said--we dont have it in this store. Worst of all, while I was looking thru pattern books, I kept feeling my legs itching--I couldnt see anything biting me, but I have been itching for the past 2 hours since I left there. Did they spray something in here, or whats the deal? I always go to the local Joanns to see what they have thats different. Too bad this one is so messy and employees arent interested in being helpful.

On 12/8/13 was in this store and it was a terrible experience I asked to talk to the manager and she is the worst no name tag dirty work shirt and (long string hair and missing teeth) she is rude and very nasty. Was talking to an older woman and was treating her awful when the women was asking questions. when I asked a question and said I didnt appreciate her being rude she shrugged her shoulders. I would rather driver 45 minutes away just to not deal with her. Called corporate number gave complaint asked for call back and said they dont do that because they are so busy taking care of orders. No complaint department? Sounds strange to me

Called to ask if a product was in stock and I dont think Ive felt more irritated with a human being in 35 seconds as I did with this woman. Im sorry, did I inturupt your texting? Because you clearly have no desire to do what you get paid for. When someone asks if you have a product in stock, you look. Instead this girl decided she knew the entire inventory of the store and could tell me that they dont even carry it (which according to the website, they do)

Dont bother taking the sewing lessons...it is better off taking them online if the instructor wont let you touch the needles..free supplies also ran out when there were barely any student registered for their classes. The manager could careless if you complaint.

I was able to use coupons from my emails and saved 40% off my fabric. If you dont know how to find coupons, but ask the cashier. She was so helpful, with finding me the best coupon deals. Thanks!

Bright, clean store with helpful knowledgable staff. Seasonal items are always cute and fun. Mobile coupons without needing to subscribe mean you can always save extra.
