Regular Walmart in terms of size and variety. However, horrible operational service. No understanding of basic communication and understanding when and how to call for back up registers when Waiteda in a single attendant line for 20 minutes. Spoke to a Theresa, Nathan that nothing but wasted even more time, didnt defuse the customer experience but instead made it worse with their attitude,... wondering if my receipt was kosher (i had a folder with proof that I spend thousands there every 3 months. ) Finally about 25-28 minutes later,.. with a line of 12-14 people behind me. Josh the manager came and quickly properly assessed the situation. The customer service staff there needs to go or be trained properly. After I was eventually told all is ok, Theresa, the original employee didnt even tell me when the transaction was complete or sorry. She just ignored me and called for the next customer. I am hoping that Big Giant Walmart actually has a department that looks into these as I do for my businesses, to correct operational flow in the future. I never attacked anyone while there, just pointed out the facts. Problem is this is my second experience like this. Never have this problem with other locations. I will do my shopping elsewhere to avoid this ever happening again.

We have lived in Huntley for only 2 years. We have shopped at this Walmart many times, each time hoping it would have improved. Alas, it hasnt. The store is never well-stocked. The pet section is unbelievably messy. Usually I can find only some of the things on my list, forcing me to go to Jewel just down the road. The produce does not keep for any length of time. We have used other Walmart pharmacies for years and years, but this one never had the full amount of 3 of our RXs. My husband, who was a WM pharmacist for 25 years, talked to the pharmacy manager about it, but he wouldnt adjust the inventory to accommodate our needs. Back to Jewel. We live across the highway from Walmart in a retirement community of 5500 homes. The idea of shopping for so much of what we need at a discount super center is very appealing. We know of a lot of other people who feel the same way, but they feel as we do about the Huntley Walmart: its just not worth the aggravation to shop there on a regular basis. Finally, my husband knows what a well-managed Walmart super center is like. Huntley Walmart doesnt even come close. It could be a gold mine for Walmart. Maybe the new motto should be: If We Dont Have It, You Dont Need It!!.

Went to the Huntley store on Thursday, 2.18.2016, and once again the stocking of the store was an absolute shambles. A goodly amount of the ice cream cabinet was decimated and as usual the Great Value ice cream section was non existent. (Actually the Homemade Vanilla is quite good.) As usual bought another brand. (If you can find one to your liking.) This occurs almost weekly at this point. The frozen food section fared no better. What ever was not gone was left in shambles with pizza containers thrown where ever. Produce section looked aged and the meat section also was lean(no pun intended) on selection. This store looks like its about to close entirely about every Wednesday. At the rate they are going that wage increase will be meaningless to everyone who is about to lose a job. I think its time for the front office to audit this fiasco. Just to clarify one thing, the staff is always very accommodating and friendly but has to be biting their lips when the customer is complaining about these things. Cmon Walmart, do your thing. This is a management problem.

I find the employees and the product availability are very good. I have never been disappointed with any of the employees whom I have asked for assistance or direction. Everyone knows exactly where an item can be found and most times will actually take me to the product - no matter how vague a description I have given them. The pharmacy is excellent. Yes, there is a wait but that is because this pharmacy fills so many prescriptions - possibly because they are directly across the street from the 55 and over community of Sun City. The only thing I would change about Walmart - all their stores - is the lighting. It is drab and depressing.

They are presently remodelling the store. Hopefully this will translate to a better shopping experience. They also recently have replaced a very rude, self absorbed store manager, Brenda Degenhardt, with an incredible young man by the name of Dominic Gallo . The employees seem much less stressed out now and seen to actually be enjoying their jobs! Good on him!!! Brenda was a dominant megalomaniac that thought she was perfect. So glad the employees dont have to suffer through her dictatorship any longer!

Its a typical Walmart but I do prefer other Walmarts that I have seen that higher challenged people that is a big important thing to me so I prefer to do my business the Walmart that hire more of the challenge people that do a great job. They have to work till they work as host at the door other odd jobs like that thats why I like to spend my money I did not see that in Woodstock

The gentleman who helped me in the outdoor dept was very kind. But whoever worked there before him hurt themselves somehow and got a decent amount of blood over the plastic bags and left them out still. Didnt throw them away. The gentleman who helped me bagged my ammo and didnt notice it until he handed it to me and we each checked our hands and the blood wasnt from us.

So impressed with the customer service at THIS Walmart. Had a large item return and not only did they willing take the return they even helped me get it into the store. Special recognition to Michael and Cody. They made, what I thought would be an extremely stressful situation, an easy return. I will drive the extra distance to go to this location from now on.

Went to this Walmart yesterday to do a simple exchange. I waited in line at customer service for over 25 minutes. There was only one lady in charge of helping a line of 6+ people. The employee kept calling other employees to help her but nobody came to help her and nobody would even answer her. This was frustrating for the employee and myself

A better Walmart next to a retirement community. Still like every other Walmart.... They really should try treating there employees better. I might get a better Walmart experience and write a better review... Poor Walmart employees.. please pay then more. It creates a crappy experience for the shopper.

This store has made some big changes. Most Im not happy with dont carry a lot of the items that I buy anymore, and have raised prices on all the things I do buy. They dont match prices anymore. I have decided to shop other places.Wull only shop walmart if its a absolute must. .

Never really liked this store when I moved into the area, but now that they are revamping the store its a much nicer store. They have added self check out which is nice for quick trips to the store. There is a bigger variety of brands. All in all a very nice store.

Hardly ever have what Im looking for. Last time I was there they were completely out of lime juice. I asked an employee to check in the back, I was told the truck wouldnt be there for another hour, and that they had nothing in the back... Nothing?
