I decided to drive over an hour to this location just because they had what I needed in stock. After a nice long drive at 9pm on a Saturday night I arrived and was excited to pick up 2 laptops, get my GoPro serviced, and to replace my Sony MDRs. However my excitement was quickly shot down by the grinch lady behind the counter. After waiting patiently in line, I was finally called over to the service counter. I was very happy to finally get what I needed so I asked the counter person how she was doing with a warm tone. I got nothing. Not only did I get nothing but I got the most blank stare that Ive ever received from a customer service rep. I was actually in a little disbelief since Ive worked many years in the service industry and have gained a lot of empathy for customer service people during the holidays. I immediately knew that this person, whos name rhymes with and may or may not be called "Mary Ann", was not too versed in the art of customer service nor was she interested in any human interaction. I was as pleasant as I could because I suspected that she could snap at any moment and I didnt want any trouble. I knew that it was in my best interest to be quick, short, and not make eye contact with this person. The really sad part about this is that she was immediately a lot nice to the person who waiting behind me in line. She even asked this next customer in line after me if he found everything fine. She was a completely different person and I was amazed. I was giving her the benefit of the doubt but it definitely felt as if she had never seen or interacted with a non-Caucasian person before. I felt as if she thought she was staring at an alien in a condescending way. I didnt understand this because I was dressed nicely, I was polite, articulate, patient, and professional, and I even made a point to be friendly since it was late. I was thoroughly uncomfortable and embarrassed for her. I will also note that she was quick to try to find reasons to make my transactions as time consuming and as painful as possible. There was not one greeting, thanks, or sense of care during our entire transaction from her. However, shout out to Aaron behind the service counter who not only did a great job helping me troubleshoot my Hero3, but also did previously mentioned persons job for her so she could finish her cash drawer and send out some important texts. This however, was only after she got her fix of M&Ms after carefully selecting it from the candy aisle. Ironically, this seemed to be the only place that I saw her resemble anything close to an operating human being. Also good job to the guys working in laptops who quickly retrieved the two laptops that I wanted and even helped me find a nice lock for it. Also thank you to the manager for listening to me briefly when I tried to convey my concerns. I thought it was interesting that when I gave the manager the name of this person he didnt seem very surprised at all. As if he knew or was used to it. I forgot to tell you that I tried calling 3 times and was on hold for over 20 minutes. This was interesting because when I came in there were 3 employees in the Customer Service Area and only 2 other customers. I hope that this was just a mistake and that the quality of service is usually better. Overall, great products and prices as usual and even some of the staff members were helpful and polite but I will make sure to never come back because of the Grinch behind the counter. I cant help but to wonder why there was so much unwarranted animosity towards me. Please get this associate some help and support. I do not want anything for free and the only thing I want is for incompetent and unpleasant employees to be rewarded accordingly. Best wishes, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Years.

Appliance NOT The Geek Squad. My dishwasher was repaired over six times in 3 years. After only six months the dishwasher blew up again. Keep in mind they had replace the pump several times motherboard timer all the inside guts. The manager of the store was not helpful at all in fact he flat-out lied to me. The Geek Squad in for me that if I purchased a brand new dishwasher and they would put a partial credit on my credit card. I was advised even by the store manager that this product should have been lemmond out many times. After they messed up the delivery day yet again I was disappointed by Best Buy. Over the course of the last three years I have many names and reference numbers with the 3 year old product and the new one. Its funny no one can ever find the conversations we talked about with the reference numbers. I actually had Geek Squad on the phone and a representative asked to speak to the store manager as I stood in front of him. As I handed him the phone he flat-out lied and said he put this complaint into escalations. This manager would not even look me in the eye. He even tried to hang up the phone on the member so I could not continue the conversation. I was cool calm and collected. Between him and The Geek Squad I was transferred over a dozen times each employee promising and lying. I wasnt asking for anything free, I was simply asking for service that I paid for. After the manager flat-out lied to me in the face, I said lets just return this item. No you will not get my business. I couldnt imagine ever purchasing another thing with them. Each time you get transferred to a different department they declined to give you managers and corporate seems to not exist. If someone pulled up this file they would clearly be disgusted. I have yet to hear Im sorry.

A significant day today 1/31 at Best Buy as the staff and facility offered a wonderful infusion of technology into the machine. The machine I speak of via rääkima, "to speak" is the arded or plowed asphalt notation upon Richmond Road. A fig bows notation where at the throat intersection of Diamond and Shoppers Way the fig speaks. This awareness of the armature is enhanced by also seeing the intriguing displays inside. Such as the Peppers Ghost pyramid adding simulated atmospheric effects just as Draconian laws were displayed years past. And the NEW virtual Reality adaptations to X-Box 360 for sale showed the shoppers a glimpse of the infusion as it relates to immersion into a Char ~ Character matrix realm of interactive Yaw, Pitch, and Roll. So you the reader think to yourself "just what egg did this enriched fig morph from..." And that epiphany stems from the egg shaped Geek Squad brand. Where like a chi ken kicking from the shell, mechanical articulation of the letter (K) shin diks the quad we seek.

Alert: THIS STORE IS CHARGING THE COOK COUNTY BEVERAGE TAX! Usually this is an ok location with decent customer service. Came here to walk around and decided to purchase snacks and 2 bottled beverages. At the register I noticed that the Cook County 1¢/oz tax was applied to my purchase. I raised the issue with the cashier and he said that was normal. The next day, I called the store manager. She claimed that the beverage tax was being collected statewide (its not). I called out her lie. She changed her story to say it was a cash register issue and they are aware and WILL NOT FIX OR CORRECT. I have since reported this issue to BestBuy corporate. They insincere with their statement that they will escalate the issue.
