On 12/28/2016 my husband and stepson dropped off my stepsons car since it had a slow leak in the rear passenger tire. A few hours later my stepson gets a call his car is ready and heads over there. A few minutes later my husband gets a call stating that there is an issue with the front drivers tire however by this point by stepson is there already. Wrong is an understatement. The car is undrivable. It was driveable just a few hours ago when it was dropped off and there were no issues with the front tires what so ever. When my husband arrives the assistant manager seemed surprised by this and the general manager took my husband out to the garage to discuss this issue. Of course out in the garage so no other customers would know they just screwed up a car that should have been a very easy fix. I mean come on we are talking about a slow leak nothing major here or so we thought. My husband was treated like crap! My stepson is a pizza delivery driver so his car is his livelihood. No car no pay! The manager states they are filing a claim with the claims department for this. Well, that takes 48 hours which is just a joke another joke. We call them and they say we will have to take it to a shop to get it looked at for a quote. Um did you miss the undrivable part?! Guess so!!! To add to their paperwork shows an additional 400 miles were added to our car while they had it in their shop and the drivers side rear tire is now going flat too. A simply slow leak is now amounting to a ton of extra work for us. Your managers were rude and disrespectful, your claims department was clueless, and now we are stuck in a wait and see game all while my stepson isnt getting paid because you cant handle a simple leak in a tire.

Take your car here! I went here about 6-7 times with 4 different cars over the past 9 years and they really take care of me. I used to be frustrated because I usually spend 30min-1hr30min in their waiting area but i now realize it is because they favor quality over speed. Out of the 6-7 times I was there i only had to pay twice. One time they even waited 30min after closing for me to come by and pick up the car and they didnt even charge me. They said here you go have a nice night, like it was nothing! The last time i was there were about 10 people waiting and they said it was going to be about two hours. Instead of going to the other Tire place 50 feet away i told them no problem you guys earned my business. I dropped off my car and one of their employees DROVE ME TO MY HOUSE so i didnt have to wait there. I picked it up the next day with no issues as usual. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO HERE!

They called me to let me know my tires came in and I could come over for installation. When I arrived I asked how long it would take and was told 45 min. That was good because I needed to pick my wife up in an hour. 45 minutes later my car was still sitting in the lot. I brought it to their attention and was told I was the next on the list. I was planning to come back some other time but decided to wait. After my tires were installed I noticed 2 rims had been scratched or nicked. My take is that it was a hurry up job. Its my "hobby" car, a 350Z that had perfect silver 5 spoke wheels. The manager assured me someone would call about fixing them. A week went by, no call. I called and was told I would get a call back soon, no call. Ive had tires changed on "fancy" rims before at other places without a problem. Now Im sorry I went to this location.

I went to that store to have my rotation done on my 4 wheel drive Subaru Impreza. They said they are not able to take two tires on one of the sides, due to studs being put up wrong. I have those replace, and came back for another rotation service. This time they said, they cant remove at least one stud on each wheel. One of the side was touched by them only last time. I went to my mechanic and he has to replace more studs that they actualy broke, because they were put up wrong again. This is a major problem, what if I get a flat time and have to change it myself? They are not careful of they are doing. They hire young interns that dont know what are doing. Dont get me wrong, I use they service for 2 other cars and purchased multiple tire sets, but what recently happened doesnt want me to come back.

Have been doing business here for a number of years ( bloomingdale location). The store manager, Kevin Prell, has had great success in maintaining my hard to get Tires, fronts and rears, for my 2004 Mercury Marauder ! Also, just recently purchased a set of 4, Michelenes, for my 2007 Ford Edge ! ( awesome tires ), all season top of the line ! Very Happy with this last purchase, and very happy with the price !......I will continue my business with the Bloomingdale location, even though, their new store in Hanover Park is closer ! Cudos to Kevin Prell and his Crew !

Ive purchased many sets of tires for six different vehicles from this store over the years. Ive had nothing but the best service and prices from these folks. Ive had two occasions to used the road hazard insurance to replace damaged tires, no problems. Need a rotation or something else checked out? No problem. These guys are eager to please. This area has dozens of tire dealers everywhere. I drive about 15 miles to get to this place and keep going there for the foreseeable future.

I had way too many things going on in my life, when my tire blew out, adding to the misery. I put on the spare and took it in to the Bloomingdale location. They informed me that the tire was under warranty, and I would only need to pay for installation. They got my tire put on and I was able to be with my family for thanksgiving. Thank you for being so dependable!

Ive been coming to this location for years now, and been countless times. Every single visit, the staff has been helpful, efficient and most of all extremely friendly. Work is generally done quickly, their prices on labor are reasonable and their price matching policy is good. I would not look to go anywhere else for tire work on my cars.

Stood in there for 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged I was even there. One of the employees then asked if Im being helped.. after I told him no, not yet, I walked up to him and watched him help people on the phone first, with me standing in front of him. I simply walked out. NOT the first time at this location either

These guys at Discount Tire in Bloomingdale have blown me away with their great service. I bought tires there a couple of years ago at a terrific price, and return regularly for a free rotation and balancing. They treat me with respect, and dont use my visits as an excuse to try to sell me something.
