Horrible service! I came to Kmart to send money through Western Union. The lady who was"helping" me is Erin H. - has no clue what she was doing. 1st when I asked her is there any limit on the amount I can send, - she did not know and did not try to find out. I was waiting for the answer as I needed to write down the number on WU form. I asked her again and then she finally moved and found out. There was no limit - good! 2nd she made mistakes in both my name and the receivers name - not a problem I spotted it on time and corrected. 3rd when the transaction was almost over and all I had to do is pay she told me they do not except credit cards - cash only. I was sending $3000 and did not have cash on me. There was no sigh written that its cash only, she never mentioned it while I was asking about the limit, she never mentioned it while she was entering all the info to the computer, she only said it when it was time to pay. I asked her if she could wait 5 min, there is bank next door and I ran there to get cash. I came back in 3 min with $3000 cash and she was surprised I am back and said that she cancelled my transaction. We started everything from the beginning. I was still very patient, provided her with everything she asked (id, sc#, cash). She mentioned that she "had to leave for classes long time ago" - whatever that meant, seamed that she does not want to work as she was not guiding me at all through the process, she was looking at her computer screen like she sees it for the first time. She had to call WU for the assistance because when she cancelled the transaction WU blocked me as a customer like I did not want to pay or did not have the money the first time, I really do not know what happened because she never explained to me what was going on. From here I can only guess - probably she made too many changes to the transaction: changing my name, receivers name and then cancelling the transaction - all thees led to me being blocked. All she said was: "Western Union blocked you and I can not do anything" I never wrote a review before, and this review is not for the customers. It is for the management of the store. All this trouble could have been avoided if Erin H. would speak up about the cash and would pay attention to what she was doing. She was a coy fish the whole time. I needed to send money to help my family and because of a very poor customer service I was blocked. Kmart - train your people or remove WU service from your store because you guys have no idea how to make a transaction.

Horrible customer service. Had a $750 layaway bill paid $350 and needed a 3 day extension on the bill due to a death in the immediate family and had to go out of town to make arrangements etc. While out of town my job fired me and the manager would not help in any way or allow me to make my missed payment and final payment 3 days after the contract expired. My bill would have been paid in full 3 days later and he was unwilling.

Customer service here is a total joke. Just had to wait 15 minutes to return one item because the poor girl at the customer service desk was by herself when there should have been two people. Between helping the inexperienced teenagers at the cash registers and fielding phone calls, she wasnt able to even speak one word to me. Give your employees more support. And training.

They wouldnt let me return my baby gift because I didnt have the receipt but it was a gift and they didnt give me the receipt. I just have one question what do you do if the gift is broke when you get it and they wont let you return it. I see why all Kmart when out of business because they dont make there customer happy. I wouldnt recommend this Kmart to anybody

My daughter and I came a great distance to shop for patio or backyard furniture and was very disappointed with what we found. The summer clearance published was very misleading The store has the appearance of a warehouse or a store going out of business. I would not recommend this store. ps: most of the items we purchased was not priced.

I havent been in a Kmart in over 20 years, and it seems the same as I remember. I feel like we were one of 5 people in the store. The music was terrible. I feel bad for the employees. A manager did greet us and ask if we needed help finding anything - which was nice, but the store needs a serious revamp

It is always a joy to shop in KMart. Its sad that they have closed quite a few stores. But people arent buying like they used to especially if they are out of work. The store on Route 83 has alot of good prices vs. WalMart. WalMart is crazy to shop in, not KMart. Keep up your good work at KMart, 83.

Kmart always has a wide range of goods to buy. It is not one of the places that I stop often but sometimes I will go there on my way home from work and browse what they currently have in stock. My only complaint is that some of the cashiers just dont care

HORRID service. Went there twice, decided not to buy both times due to service. Workers everywhere, not one person could help or even pretended to care. Stopped to ask a lady a question, she put her hand up and said she was "on break" and walked away.

The guy who worked customer service at 630pm wed July 5th said he would not price match to another store. When the website says it does. No wonder they are all becoming obsolete. Horrible customer. Service at Elmhurst store

I wish I could give a better review but this Kmart is sub-par. No employees could be found to ask questions of. The one thing I needed was not available. The store was vacant. Does ANYONE shop here?

My daughter needed to use the restroom while we were shopping. I had to leave behind my stuff and go to a different location because the bathroom. Here was out of order. They only had one bathroom.

Went there on three separate occasions trying to give them a chance but each time the employees dont know where anything is, the money order machine doesnt work, and theres hardly thing in stock.
