This is the most laid-back K-Mart Ive ever been in. It is clean and generally well-organized. I rarely see employees in it, though, except at the front of the store where the check-outs stations are! When you cant find what you want, not being able to find an employee to help is doubly frustrating. There is a small food-service area in the front. It is clean but appears extremely dated. Every time Ive tried to order a pizza I have been told about some issue that will require my order to take some outrageous amount of time, and so I have yet to eat any pizza made here. Its probably just as well. I buy some household necessities here and once in a while find myself buying something K-mart has put on sale that I didnt intend to purchase that day. Generally, when K-mart puts something on sale, their price is the lowest, or nearly so. Twice now Ive gotten home and realized that what I bought wasnt the right thing or variety or size. Their returns process at this K-Mart is swift and friendly. No judgment, no demanding to swipe my ID, just pleasant customer service and a refund for the returned merchandise.

Too bad I cannot give negative stars this is the worst managed store I have ever seen. Managers admit they don't even know when staff calls off work. They see a problem then turn and walk away with no resolution. Even when the problem is directly addressed by a customer, all the so called managers haveto say is "oops". And believe me I'm not paraphrasing all she said was "oops"!!!! To be honest I think if the managers actuallymanaged the store the other employees would not be so bad at their jobs. Lead by example!!!! By the way pleae do not think I am crazy my phone is adding all the odd symbols!

We dont shop at Kmart often as it isnt nearby but our last experience was a pleasant surprise. We were looking for new shoes for school for my granddaughter and after visiting a couple of stores(finding nothing acceptable for my gd) we went to Kmart. Within a minute being inside we find an employee to direct us to the shoes found a nice selection(my gd is into paw patrol) we had found the pair she loved and lucky us out was buy one get one for a dollar, yes $1. When we checked out the checker told us about the website where we could check there ad. Nice and friendly staff, wish store was closer to our home.

A while ago I went to the store to look for those electronic insect and rat repellents. The employees had me going from one end of the store to the other and passing me on to other workers. One lady told me that she was 100% sure they didnt sell them. I finally got tired of them and went to look for them on my own. I found the item in no more than 2 minutes. These people dont even know what they sell or even try to look it up in their store database. Ive had quite a few experiences like that in this store. They really need to re-train theyre employees :/ I would give them 0 stars if it were possible!

This Kmart is horrible. They lie to their employees. They hire them for one position and as soon as they begin training they decided to send them on the sales floor and pester customers to get rewards cards. They have no loyal customers therefore they try to win their loyalty with meaningless reward cards. The manager is rude and does not care about the customers or the employees. The teens working there are constantly on their phone and walk past customers without acknowledging them. Horrible company with unhappy employees and even unhappier management. I will not step foot in this Kmart ever again!

Wendy Wright.....The other way around, K-Mart bought Sears in 2005 and the company became Sears Holdings. Eddie Lampert, the K-Mart CEO, brought in many of the K-Mart corporate staff from Troy, Mi. and installed them in the Sears corporate offices in Hoffmann Estates. 24-year K-Mart former employee, just always frustrates me when folks assume Sears bought K-Mart.

I wonder how a store that offers such a bad service (includes total chaos as far as pricing, labeling and accuracy) stays in business. Place is absolutely horrible ! UPDATE: Im not having any satisfaction in calling its future but its long over do, this store was and still is terrible.

Atmosphere and checkouts make this store almost as unbearable as the local Walmart. 4/21/17 the checkout lines are ridiculous here. Worst retail management I have ever experienced. Cashiers terms to clueless and slower than molasses. Wish I could give 0 stars.

As someone who worked there, I will be honest. This store is terrible, management are monsters; who do not care about employees and customers. Staff does not care if Walmart is cheaper, stop assuming they do by telling them. High prices, and slow registers.

Glad theyre closing. I can see why because they are racist and an employee was told to follow my mother and sister because they are Hispanic. Glad Kmart is losing business. Business and racism do not mix well.

This Kmart is one of the best in the area. There are always employees around to answer questions. It is also a very busy store, previous customers can be wrong.

I am so happy with my Kmart. I always can find help. I am so glad they have layaway all year long. The only 2 cons are its a little bit closer & bigger. A+++

Havent been there in a while they keep changing the layout since Sears bought them. They do have some cute clothes but the shoe prices are a little high

Kmart has been a staple in the retail market for decades. With that being said, its your basic one stop shopping destination from clothes to groceries.

So weird going in Kmart now. Its like going into Venture, or Ames, and cant forget Zayre. Wonder if Wal-Mart will meet the same fate.

Crowded, disorganized, out of control children and prices were ridiculous for a store closing. Good riddance.
