I totally would recommend this place to all my friends . I went in there today regarding my Samsung Note 4 . I was having issues with it and I thought it might have been the battery . So I previously headed up to a Batteries and Blubs in Lake Zurich .. They did a battery test on my Note 4 and said that my battery had a full charge and it must have been another issue . I just want to note that they fix smartphones in there as well . They kind of give me impression that they did not want to mess with my phone . So I just took my Note 4 and left .. So I headed out to GadgetBar in Barrington . I walked in and I met Brian . I told Brian what was going on with my Note 4 . So Brian looked at my phone and noticed the problems that were going on with it .. So he told me that he would probably have to take it apart and he was totally honest with me and said this would be a hard one to do . He also added that there was no guarantees that my phone would be usable again . Just do to the fact that Samsung made this incredibly hard fix . But Brian was willing to give his best . So Looked at my phone and noticed that was flashing anymore and asked me if the guys and Batteries and Blubs even bothered to put a new battery in my phone and I told him no . That just checked my Battery on a Battery Amp and said it read a full charge . So he said that doesnt matter . So Brian switched his Note 4 battery from his showcase display into my Note 4 and it worked fine . So he put my battery into his Note 4 that he pulled out of his showcase and his Note 4 was doing the same thing that mine was doing . So it was the battery all along . I was relived and very happy . I just to say thank you Brian for your help and I would definitely recommend GadgetBar to someone who looking for someone to repair their smartphone or IPhone , Laptop etc ... I will definitely be back again if I am having issues with my phone . So thank you again Brian .. Cheers Alex

My iPhone was completely shattered, so like most people I searched all places that repaired cracked screens. Apple, the most expensive, would do it for about $180...Most other places would do it for $129. And then I came across GadgetBar online and some family members recommended me to them as well. They gave me the lowest price at about $110. They worked quickly, yet did an amazing job and had great communication/customer interaction. I will for sure be coming back here for all my future electronic problems and recommend them for anyone looking for quality work at an amazing price. Thank you!

This place was absolutely fantastic. Both my sister and I are customers and we have nothing but good things to say about the service and the people. Theyre honest, fast, and very straight forward with you about what the problem is as well as how you can get it fixed and what the price is. Their prices (and performance) are also fantastic and better than anywhere else Ive been to have my phone fixed and laptop repaired. Id definitely recommend checking them out before going anywhere else for whatever electronic repair you need!

I dropped my IPhone in the sink the other day and within a few hours it was malfunctioning and on the blitz. I brought it over to Brian at GadgetBar who recognized the problem right away. He made no promises and told me upfront that he could not rush the repair. Within 48 hours he had it up and running again. His price to repair was very fair. He even took the time to explain to me some precautions I should be taking to prevent any further damage or loss of data. He will be my go to when needed in the future.

After getting water in my phone, the screen wouldnt respond to my touch, and I couldnt do anything with my phone. I was told I had to get the screen replaced by another repair shop. I brought my phone here and it was repaired within a day without getting a new screen. I even managed to get my phone after the hours of operation because the employee waited until I got it. Overall, the customer service was one of the best Ive ever seen. I definitely recommend this place for anyone who has any cell phone issues.

This place is the best! I was on a bike ride when my phone fell out of my pocket and hit the street. I brought it in to iRescue911 in Barrington and they were able to "rescue" my device. I have an HTC M7 that I wasnt ready to part with. I called other shops in the area and no one wanted to touch it because apparently its a difficult phone to work on. I called iRescue911 and not only were they willing to do it, they did it the same day. Phone looks and feels like new once again! Thanks iRescue911 !

I am a construction contractor and was on a job site and ran over my phone with a steam roller. The phone was completely bent and the screen was totally shattered. The phone was completely destroyed and I thought it was beyond repair but BRIAN fixed it. He had great customer service!! He showed me his parts compared to competitors parts and his were top notch! Definitely suggest this place to anyone!!! 5 stars all the way! If I could give it 10 stars, I would.

Honest, Reliable, Quick. This was my second trip to Gadget Bar. First trip was a few months back to have my daughters cracked IPhone screen repaired. Repaired onsite while we waited. Today was there for my older daughters iPad that had quit running. Honest assessment, quick service. Thank you for your service. I really like that we get our original equipment back that we bring in and not replacement/refurbished equipment. We will be back in the future.

When I broke my phone on New Years Eve, Gadget Bar stayed opened late to get my phone fixed. When I returned to pick up my phone, they took time to make sure I was satisfied with the repairs. If not for Gadget Bar I would have been without a phone for several days. I would highly recommend Gadget Bar for exceptional customer service, quality repair work and fair pricing.

Came here for a busted USB charging port on my Moto X. No one else would even attempt to fix it and fixing it myself was out of the question. Gadgetbar was able to complete a very tricky repair at a great price. No other phone repair service even comes close. Cannot recommend this place enough. Great communication, outstanding service and competency, amazing price.

These guys are awesome! Brought in my Nexus 5 that I thought had power button failure but after they took a look, it ended up being a battery issue. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it in under a half hour. Dont waste your time trying to fix your phone yourself. These guys will definitely be able to figure out whats wrong and help you out!

Just had a great visit at Gadgetbar. Brian, the owner was able to repair my key-fob for my Jeep by soldering an internal component that was loose saving me buying a new battery or new key-fob. The store was full of people with cellphone and notepad repairs and questions and Brian handled each one courteously and professionally.
