I have been a Verizon customer for over 10 years, and have always been satisfied with their customer service and products. I made a fatal error and went to this independent verizon store when my phone broke. The store was completely empty which i can now understand why. I walked in and Szymon was just sitting there, he didnt even bother to get up and greet me as every other store employee has done in every other Verizon I have been to. Since I was not due for an upgrade yet he told me in no uncertain terms that my ONLY option was to buy a phone at the full price of $600 and up, buy a refurbished 4 year old phone for $200 that he said was not under any warranty and was not insurable, BUT, he would LET me plug it in to see if it worked, or wait a few months for my upgrade. I was pretty shocked at his condescending attitude and said that those are not the options I have had anywhere else. But this is after all an independent non corporate franchise so apparently they write their own rules and if they want to treat customers like this...they will. In fact I just came back to edit this review after hearing from quite a few other victims of this very person in this store. He is apparently ALWAYS condescending to everyone over the age of 45, to anyone under 21, and to anyone that challenges his "just made up rules". I asked again if that was it, my only option and as cocky and rude as any person could be he said"yeah, this IS IT, you have no options". I walked out shaking because I was so angry at what a creep this guy was and went right to Best Buy in Geneva on Randall road. I was greeted by the nicest guys and Spencer was the one that ended up helping me. He was professional, polite, and apologized to me for the horrible experience I had at Verizon with Simple Simon even though he had nothing to do with it! Wow, night & day service. Spencer was so helpful and went through my REAL options with me. I left there completely satisfied, and problem solved. No hassle, no rudeness, no overpriced used phone...apparently I had options just as I thought. Thankfully with social media I am able to let other people know NOT to go through the total disrespect, rudeness, and outright condescending attitude that myself and many others had experienced, and get ripped off on top of it. Go to Best Buy, or Verizon on Randall Road, or find any other Verizon and save yourself quite a bit of money, time and dignity. WORST Shop EVER!

Called to see if they could transfer my contacts from a blackberry to a new Iphone my wife picked up for me today. Not only do they not have the cable necessary to perform the transfer (with the iphone out for a couple of weeks, youd figure a Verizon store would have the necessary equipment), but to add insult to injury he wanted to charge me $15 to perform the transfer because "you didnt buy the phone from here"! Ive been a Verizon customer for years, and have never heard such a pitch as that. My wife picked up the phone from a different location and did not have my phone at that time to do the transfer. Too bad this guy is so short sighted that - while I live across the street from this particular location - I will travel to an "actual" Verizon store for all my needs. Terrible way of doing business! Interesting that the 5 star reviews are all from the month the store opened - kinda stacking the deck with ratings from store personnel to be sure!

Today was the last time I will waste my time going to this store. No matter what the reason, they cant do anything I ask. This time happened to be that I simply needed my new phone I received in the mail activated and my contacts transferred over. Ive had this done many times at other locations no problem so I figured these people could handle it. Turns out they could for once finally do something I requested, but for a $15 fee?! Then I was lied to by the girl when she said, "every Verizon store charges that fee". Of course I called a different Verizon store and the guy said no way. The guy I spoke with also told me how to just do it myself without even having to come in to the store. It took me minutes to switch my phones out on my own thanks to the people at the Verizon store in Naperville. Do not go to this location, they either are unable to do something, dont know how to do something, or will try to rip you off.

My mother went to this location and purchased a phone, since she is elderly and needs a phone for her daily needs and in case of emergency. A "sales" person named Simon "helped" her, and sold her into a phone that she cannot understand how to operate, and wants to charge her $150 to exchange a phone that was free with a contract. I attempted to speak with a manager about this, and how she was put on a unlimited plan, when she never even uses 100 mins a month. The "store owner" was just as un-helpful. This guy was rude, and I would never suggest going to this location. Turns out they are NOT EVEN A REAL VERIZON. (there is one in Batavia, right down the road on randall) They are rude, and will scam you for every dime. Protect yourself, choose another location.

This store is FANTASTIC! Very personable employees. Jenn sold me my iPhone 6 and she was amazing. This past weekend Szymon Bilotas took care of my parents who were very nervous to get their first iPhone. He helped them with all questions, he was patient, and he organized all the information they would need in their pamphlet. They walked out feeling confident and knowing that they could go back to Szymon personally with any and all questions they had. He truly understood their hesitation and he was amazing with them! He is personable and understanding! THANK YOU to this store once again for fantastic customer service.

I purchased a phone on line and needed a SIM card. Have been a Verizon customer for 14 years. Stopped by this store, which is a franchise, not corporate and was charged $20 for the card. I later realized that a corporate store provided this card FOR FREE! I called the franchise back to inquire and was told that they had to pay for this product and passed the cost on to the customer. Then I found out they were making a 100% profit on this transaction. Lesson...franchises are allowed to charge any fee for any product. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK OUT CORPORATE STORES FIRST!

This is the worst place in the world to get anything. They cheat every customer and overcharge you. The prices of their phones in store are different than the Verizon Wireless website. They wont help you unless it makes them money. Dont go there ever. They will take advantage of you. They do it all with a smile. This is coming from recent employee of the company. Munir Khalaf and Waseem Khalaf are the biggest crooks I have ever seen. Avoid this place at all costs.

My husband and I needed to both leave our family plans, which were on two different providers, and create a plan with just the two of us while keeping our same numbers. Sherif was EXTREMELY kind and patient during this process, working through what information we needed and chatting while we waited for things to go through on Verizons end. He understood the urgency of our request and made sure that everything was resolved accurately. Would definitely recommend!
