They are truly the best out there. Quality and decent prices. They work with you, they listen to your concerns, they do their best to please you. Leanne helped me to customize my ring along with their awesome jewler who is a nice guy and he knows his stuff, he works with you and to me he is the best because he customized my ring which is exactly what I wanted and I love it! Leanne is knowledgeable, she has great ideas, very good taste and I would trust her completely in choosing my jewlery pieces. She is very nice and pleasant, she helped choose some others needed items and I will for sure go to them whenever I need any piece of jewelry. They are not expensive either, like I said before, and I can compare to many other places because Ive checked lots of them before coming here. Timewise, also the best. All the places were telling me it will take like a month or so ( I needed fast since I am going on a trip) and it was done in time for me to also wear it and see how it feels before I leave which is great. So thank you so much!!! This is probably the second review I write in my life and the reason why is because, if you are looking for something that you want to buy for a lifetime (wedding rings, engagement rings), things you will cherish, I would like you to know, that they will help you to find exactly what you are looking for without pushing to buy the most expensive. They will show you what you want to see not what they might need to sell.....the best! You will find what you are looking for, I did! My ring is gorgeous!!! Service.....5 shinning stars

I recently purchased an engagement ring from Matthew Erickson Jewelers, and I cant say enough about how easy and great they made the experience. The owner, Steve, and his staff were very engaging and friendly and took the time to explain every part of the process, which was really important to me since Id never made a jewelry purchase before. I brought in a family stone to put in the ring and they even made a point to show it to me under magnification so that at any point in the future I would be able to identify the characteristics and make sure I wasnt swindled by a less scrupulous jeweler. They were not pushy at all (which I had been afraid of) and they gave me a great deal on the ring and the work that went into it. Steve even gave me a ride in his Shelby Cobra after he saw me admiring it in the parking lot (a great experience, I assure you). The best part for me though - she LOVES the ring. I described to them the few characteristics I knew she was looking for and they helped me knock it out of the park. If you are looking for a special piece and you want a great product, a great price and GREAT customer service, make sure this is the first place you look. You will realize quickly that you wont want to go anywhere else.

I had already picked out a wedding band at another place when I decided to check elsewhere to be sure of my decision. The type of band that I was looking for was unique but Matthew Erickson had some floral designs already on display. When it turned out that the ones they had in the store couldnt be made in yellow gold and without mil-grain, they searched high and low and worked with me to find manufacturers that could make what I was looking for. In the end, I bought my beautiful lacy/vine like wedding band here. In addition, my idea was to buy a simple gold band for my fiancee and have the intricate design of my band engraved into his. Their in house jeweler sketched out the design and had us approve it before he did the engraving. It was truly a spectacular job. They did a fantastic job throughout the entire process communicating with me by email and by phone. In the end, my fiancee and I couldnt be happier that I walked into this store.

Outstanding!!! We were out shopping for engagement rings and were getting frustrated and overwhelmed very quickly. We decided to head to Fox Valley to just shop around and see what our different options were when Matthew Erickson Jewelers popped up on my Google search. I was excited with their consistent positive reviews, so we headed over. We worked with Leanne, who immediately put us at ease. She patiently answered our questions and educated us about diamonds and what MEJ could do for us. In about 2 hours we had our setting and stone selected and were discussing financing (layaway turned out to be our best option). We always felt welcome when we visited our called. We have the ring now and could not be more thrilled!! We are going back for our wedding bands. Thank you!!!

My Fiance and I just bought my wedding band from Matthew Erickson Jewelers today. We worked with Leanne and it was the best experience we had buying jewelry. We were looking for a specific style and were in a specific budget and Leanne did everything she could to make sure we were satisfied. She called me weekly updating me on if anything came in that I would like and was in my budget. Leanne never got frustrated with how specific our needs were and never put pressure on us to buy. Matthew Erickson is now our "go to place" to buy any jewelry. You cant beat the quality, service and selection of all their pieces. ps - Cant say enough nice things about the owner as well. Very nice, down to earth man (with an awesome car that my future husband cant stop talking about!)

I was looking for a gold band to replace my wedding band. We had checked the entire mall at Fox Valley to no avail, when we notice the ME store outside the mall. They had exactly what I wanted and in my size also. Service was outstanding, very polite, helpful, and gracious without being overbearing. I also had my engagement enlarged. Again, outstanding service. We will use ME for all our jewelry purchases and work. Hands down better than the other stores. (When we returned to pick up the ring, they had a nice holiday spread with Kuerig coffees, cookies, and some holiday treats.)

We were delighted to find a comfortable, friendly place with staff who were patient and very supportive. Wed been to several big box Jewelers and were frustrated with aggressive staff and styles that seemed to cater to the younger "gotta have what she has" crowd. At Ericksons we found a place that felt like the comfort of home. With distinct and elegant products, fair and honest prices. We love our mounting and got a good price on a nice stone. I will definitely be back to fill future gift lists.

On a hunt for the perfect engagement ring I was fortunate to find this place. Judy is hands down the best to work with. Her and the owner are the reasons I keep coming back. The owner is also extremely friendly and welcoming no matter how much you spend. They are very transparent and honest even if that means they lose your business. Honesty, integrity, and friendliness are traits that many other business seem to have lost. Matthew Erickson is always at the top of my recommendation.

A Private User

I took a Movado watch to have the clasp engraved, when I picked it up, I was horrified as it looked like it was engraved with a prison shank. Women behind the counter are rude, condesending and pretentious. I will never go there again, it was a mistake to go there in the first place. Steve, the owner promised to send a new clasp and check for the engraving, via certified mail 3 days ago. Just another reminder about the type of service that can be expected from this dump.
