I have known this business and this family for a long time. Was very heartbroken to see their lack of responsible business practices and good faith for their customers or care friends. Be very cautious trusting them as experts and feeling you are in good hands. If the phrase "this is how we always do it" is said get it in writing or go somewhere else. Following their exact directions to ship a diamond ring for a new setting resulted in it being stolen and zero responsibility from them and the insult to ask for payment for the setting. They did not take any action without being asked or until a detective showed up at their door. Devastating to have this happen just weeks before my wedding. I pray they have adjusted their business practices to improve simple tasks such as accepting deliveries or directing customers on how business transactions take place. Learning to accept responsibility is only part of the issue. An unfortunate situation resulting from poor direction by an expert, which they are really, should be followed by accepting fault, realize the cost of doing business by making good on the issue (or even attempting to resolve the issue) and then adjusting their processes or procedures to prevent this situation from happening again to another trusting customer. Their products and knowledgeable about their products are not in question at all, they are experts of jewelry. Their work and items are very nice which is why I waited a year to find the right setting and establishment I trusted to take such a meaningful object out of my care. A heartbreaking mistake to have gone to them. I now have no engagement ring but what I do have is the opportunity to be brought to tears weekly as social encounters prompt people asking where my ring is. Many are completely shocked to see the business did nothing in resolution management and advised shipping in the manner they did and then denied it. Accepting a “required by signature” delivery that was torn and not taking any action for 3hours is also very questionable and is evident of their passive and highly delayed response through their business processes. Not something you want when dealing with significant items like engagement rings. ASK FOR EVERYTHING IN WRITING because I am sure they have not taken any attempts to improve their practices.

I first went into K Hollis just to get my ring sized, at that time i was looking around in their show cases and came across this ring. The ring caught my eye, but i wasnt sure why, besides it just being beautiful. I asked to see the ring, and when she told me it was an october birthstone( which is mine), and a january birthstone( which is one of my sons who passed away). I knew that the ring was meant to be mine. I left the store that day empty handed, with plans to return later in the month. When i returned to the store about a month or so later that ring was gone, it had been sold. I couldnt believe it, what were the chances of that? Well when they heard my story, they didnt hesitate to let me know they can custom make anything i wanted! Wow i couldnt believe it! Now i have the ring i want at an unbelievable price. They also have layaway....Thanks again to everyone at K Hollis Jewelers...

What a great find! I needed a ring that we had purchased in Mexico sized and was getting discouraged after talking to a few local jewelers, but what a different experience with this one! I love that they do repairs onsite! They said it would take a few days to complete the sizing but imagine how happy I was when I got a call only three hours later saying it was ready--the ring fits perfectly and the price was very reasonable. While they were polishing my ring I had a chance to look at the wonderful designer and custom-made jewelry and talk with the owner, Karen, who showed me some beautiful pieces she had created from items that were formerly sitting in drawers. Everyone on staff is so helpful and friendly, the experience totally exceeded my expectations! I am so happy to have found this store and will definitely return--Im giving this my highest recommendation!
