This place is a RIP OFF. Not happy with the service and prices here at all. I needed links taken out of the watch given to me for Christmas, so I brought it here. I expected to pay something to have them removed but NOT $34 dollars. I do admit it was my fault for not asking the price right up front, but I NEVER thought it would cost this much. I came into the store on my half hour lunch break. I was the only guest in the store. She began working on my watch and another guest came in, she new him by name and stopped working on my watch and started helping him. She looked up from helping him and told me it would be about 10 to 15 minutes of a wait for me. I told her I didnt have that much time to wait. Which didnt make sense since I was there first. Then ANOTHER guest came in and she helped her! ALL the while I was sitting there waiting while my watch just sat there. As soon as she was done helping them, she finished my watch in about 3 minutes. She could have finished my watch 1st and then helped the people that came in after me. I dont feel like $34 was a fair price to make me pay for taking 6 links out of my watch that only took her 5 minutes to do, while having to wait 15 minutes for her to help other people. Dont waste your money or time taking anything here. I will NEVER give my business here again. Too bad too, I like shopping at family owned stores.

Wish I had read these reviews before using them to repair a necklace. They definitely overcharged me at $45 just to solder a break, but thats on me for agreeing to it. The manager promised it would be done on Wednesday & said she would call me when it was ready for pickup. I never received a call Wednesday, so I called Thursdaywhen I was in the area of the store. The clerk asked me for the receipt # & then asked for my phone # because he said he couldnt find any record of that receipt #. He told me he would speak to the manager & call me back. He called me back within an hour to let me know that the necklace was ready for pickup, but by then, I was nowhere near the store. This annoyed me because I would now have to go out of my way on Friday toget to the store & pick up the necklace. I started to express my disappointment with the broken promises & he asked if I would like to speak to the manager. I said yes, & I could hear him tell her. "The woman on the phone is upset." He returned to the phone & told me that I could speak with the manager Friday afternoon! I said that was unacceptable that THE MANAGER WAS REFUSING TO SPEAK WITH A CUSTOMER. He said that was when I could speak to her.

Its been over 4 months since I first brought my very expensive watch to get fixed. And still isnt working correctly and then they act like Im stupid and dont know how my automatic watch works. Now Im just trying to get my money back for something that didnt even fix my watch. Now they dont even know or remember how much I paid and I took a picture of the receipt saying how much I paid cash and now I have to bring in credit card statements saying how much I paid them!!! A bunch of bs. BBB is getting a call about them!!! Ohhhh and also , I went back to let them know my watch wasnt working one last time after bringing it back twice already and Michael was working and told me to wait 15 minutes and he took my watch without even asking why I was there. So I came back and he told me that my watch didnt have a battery!!and he said its automatic!!!!!! Ummmm why the hell would someone just take something apart for no reason. I told him I didnt ask to take it apart and that Im bringing my watch back to show them that its not working and that I want my ($225.00 ) full refund back. Im getting my money back and never going to deal with them ever again!!!!! Not professional at all.

Hello Folks! This place is great! I was in and out of this place in 20 minutes! I had a battery replacement on a movado watch for $29. This price was cheap compared to the watch stop in Bolingbrook that charges $50 for each movado watch that you bring in. The employees and manager are very friendly and humble! From now on I will always go here for my watch and jewelry repairs! Other people that have wrote reviews dont understand the fact that everyone needs to earn a living and these people are just trying to do that just like we are. We all need money to survive to support our families and children. I will always wish these people good luck!

Robbery, Rip Off, total scam. Dont even walk in to ask for directions to another store. Leave Immediately!!! I had 2 watch band cotter pins replaces, and the girl wanted to charge me $30.00! A new watch band was cheaper! I said I wanted them removed, she said No. I told her $30.00 for 2 cotter pins was outrageous and I wanted to speak to the manager, she was the manager. Go Figure. I said I wanted to speak with the owner. She called him, and said ok, $20.00. I paid. Never ever go in this place!!!

I needed the battery replaced in my citizens watch. The battery was replaced and the watch doesnt function. I was told I need to read the directions on how to set the watch. I checked with them ahead of time to make sure they were familiar with the how to replace the battery(there is more to it then just putting in the battery). BOOO. One star does not appropriately describe my rating.

This business is full of scams and robbery. I bought a gold plated chain that was supposedly stainless steel underneath. I was told that the gold wouldnt start to fade for atleast 18-24 months. The gold in the chain faded after 2 days, and the worst part was underneath the gold was copper. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!! THEY SELL BOGUS PRODUCTS!!

Total rip off and store has poor approach to pricing by starting high and trying negotiate with me as a customer. No pricing schedule posted for a customer to see. Pricing is double compared to factory services offered and when asked why, they answer we are faster. These type of business approaches need to stop.

Id give these guys zero stars if they let me. Tried to charge me $34 for removing a link on a $15 dollar watch. These folks will try to snake charm the money right out of your wallet, just like they do back home in India. Avoid at all costs.

$50 to replace a battery in two watches? When she saw the shock on my face, she gave me the explanation that the "batteries are very good" and that the “extra cost due to having to unscrew the back”. Seriously?

Horrible service. Had my watch in to see what kind of repair it needed and they put a big chip in the 14k gold bezel! And on top of that they didnt set the nob in right so it fell out
