Went here to price items for my daughters gecko.the first time, wasnt greeted or even asked if I needed help. I stood by the crickets where an employee was and I was waiting to ask questions. She never asked if I needed help-nothing.. Tonight I went in again. An employee standing by the entrance not a single acknowledgment we even walked in just stared at. She was standing in the middle of the isle talking to someone about things that were clearly not pet co related. She just stood in the way of a the main walkway. Walked around to price a few items. Never once was I asked if I needed help again just stared at us. I can promise I will not return to even price items ever. Worst customer service ever.

Trevor in the grooming department is absolutely amazing! I have an older pit bull/lab mix that has a hard time dealing with her nails being cut, lets just say that she makes it harder than it should be. I have been to a lot of different groomers over the years and have been less than pleased. I go to Trevor specifically because he is always so patient and kind with her. I can tell that she is at ease with him which couldnt make me happier. Not only is he an animal lover, he also provides great customer service. My nervousness to bring Falkor in has dissipated at its all do to him. Petco, seriously give this man a raise! It is well deserved!

Would give zero stars if I could. On Sunday, May 14th, at 1:00ish I saw an employee walking a very small black dog in the parking lot. That wasnt the issue. The issue was she was not paying attention to the dog! She was smoking a cigarette, flicking the ashes entirely too close to the dog, drinking something, and talking on her cell phone. To find out this was a manage blew my mind. The store didnt seem to care, that or she was too high up on management for anyone to do anything. Will not shop at this store again and I now have signed up with Amazon to have my dog food delivered.

My wife recently visited the Petco in Meridian, ID on Eagle road and we were very disgusted with the conditions of the cats and their cages. In one of the cats’ cage there was mold growing on the floor of the cage from water spills. Also, the area where you can take the cats out and play with them was disgusting. There was smeared animal feces on the ground like someone had tried to clean up but left most of behind. We noticed that it had been there for over a week because we had come to the same Petco to look at a different cat the past weekend.

If i could put zero stars i would. I bought 6 neon tetra and 4 of them died. The washer parameter where good in my tank. This also isnt the first time this has happened i have bought a total of 20 fish from them 10 of which died in the first week. Really tired of running back to the store to replace dead fish. Last time i buy fish from them. Aquariums and stuff is a much better store. They have a vast selection of fish which are all healthy and strong and the prices are better on many fish.

The Grooming Department was terrible this time for our small dog which is a Chihuahua mix we paid for a bath and nail trim and the nail trim was not complete we had to stand there and wait for the lady to finish it after my wife said something about it. We asked the has his ear looked at because he was itching it and we never got told anything about it nor was it taken care of.

I love coming to a pet store just to look at all the animals here and buy pet supplies some time. This petco location is a little bit small. There are only two check out stations, however the staffs here are very friendly and helpful. Good place to get your pet supplies and window shoping. I only buy it here when I cant wait to get my pet supplies from the online store.

Had our dog groomed this morning. The morning shift guy was super helpful. Allie the groomer did great. My dog was a tangled mess before. Now he looks like a show dog.
