A few years ago, I ran into a quick need for extra cash & took 2 custom made collectible pool cues worth well over $1000 each to Vista Pawn and they would only offer to loan only $5 each on them, even after I showed them lesser cues on eBay had sold for over $1000 a piece. I next visited First National Pawn and when I asked them if they could loan me $600 on the pair, they recognized them for being high valued and loaned me the amount I asked for immediately. I redemed my loan a couple weeks later and I have since been a regular buying customer of their merchandise.. They give me great bargains on everything I purchase and I visit them regularly.. . Great guys to deal with with great attitudes. Gonna go visit them this morning.

Ive been in here a couple times. On the first visit, these folks bought a bunch of old video games off of me for a good price and sold me a perfectly good HDMI computer monitor and knocked the price down without me even asking. On the second visit, I bought another computer monitor for a very fair price. On both visits, I dealt with different staff but all of them were very friendly and offered to hook up the monitors to ensure they work. Im using one of them now and its as good as new. They also give you a 30-day store credit guarantee if the item doesnt work out. I highly recommend this place if youre looking for a used computer monitor, TV, or other electronics. It looks like they have a solid selection of other stuff too.

There was a guitar (Jackson Kelly w/ EMGs; decent cond.) on the wall, the sticker said $220. It was easily worth $320...I offered them $190. They counter-offered me $180(!). After throwing in a hardshell case, strap, strings and picks for free, they cut another $20 off of the price!!! I got it for $160. 4 months later and back in NY, it is my main guitar... I have never seen any pawnshop staff be KINDER or MORE willing to bargain in my life. I would travel far and wide to come back to 1st National Pawn!!!

My personal visit was a joke. I went in to sell 2 items looking for a quick 20 bucks.. They wouldnt givs me anything.. Took the same to items to vista pawn and told them i needed20 they gave me 30. On top of that the employees at first national pawn trash talked 2 of their costumers as they walked out the door. I will never be back.

Bought 2 12inch speakers in a box. They hooked it up to prove to me they work (and I didnt ask them to, which I liked). 2 days later I had them installed and brought back my subs I was replacing and sold it to them. The service was fast and friendly. Had a good experience here, buying and selling prices were both good for me.

They stole our layaway money!!! They did not notify us that if we forgot something in layaway, they will not give you the money you put down on it -OR- in store credit. The "MANAGER" was rude and did not care. Complete ripoff.

Always good service. Could be better at times but good overall. Prices are really good compared to other pawn one stores around the city. Selling is always fast paced as it should be. So far so good.

If youre looking for a good deal you might find it here, but then again if they realize you are getting a good deal they might raise the price at the register on you too. Disappointing.
