I went there to try to sell my tablet. I knew that I could make more money selling it on eBay or Craigslist, but didnt really feel like going through the hassle. Anyway, I went there and see what they could offer. I walked in and there were a number of customers being serviced, but I was helped fairly quickly. A lady asked what she could help me with and I told her that I was looking for a valuation on my tablet. The tablet is a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and its mint, like-new as it hasnt been used; still in the original box with the charger still wrapped up and all of the booklets and manuals-totally immaculate. I hand it over and she takes it over and asks a gentleman about it. This gentlemen is actually helping another customer and he glances at my tablet, never even takes it out of the box to actually look at it and tells her something. She comes back to me and says that they can offer $50 for it. Really??? She says something about their offer being so low because there are newer models available. Wow, I guess these folks must know something that Samsung doesnt because my Tab S 10.5 is the newest tablet that they offer at this very moment. I totally understand that they have to buy low and sell high to make a profit to stay in business. So making a lowball offer is one thing which I expected, but being totally INSULTING is a whole other ball of wax. Instead of being offended, I honestly wouldve been more inclined to leave a better review if they wouldve just declined to make an offer. But they decided to BS me. I did my research before I went there and I knew exactly what I had even if if they might not have. Bottom line, if I happen to find myself in need of a pawn shop ever again I likely wont be going to Max Pawn again nor can I recommend anyone that I know to go there.

This was one of the most wonderful shopping experiences I had! The first thing I noticed what the top quality products displayed all throughout the shop. There were a variety of designer brands and valuable merchandise visible in display cases and all over the walls, from Chanel and Louis Vutton bags to autographed photos of John Lennon and Elvis Presley to Playstation and Nintendo Wii. I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to get when I initially came in but so many things caught my attention right away. I’m not one who likes to spend a long time shopping but I could’ve stayed till closing. The amount of care put into Max Pawn is apparent and the customer service matches the care put into the store and the many customers it attracts. All the store associates had positive attitudes and were eager to help. Ivan answered any questions I had, handled my purchases (a certified, framed genuine animated cel of the Disney movie Dumbo from the early 1940s and Rayban glasses with a case), and wrapped them safe and securely for my car ride back home to L.A. Michael Mack was front and center and greeted his customers personally; he takes pride in his shop and strives to make all his customers happy. The whole staff reflects this attitude as well which leaves a collective positive vibe. And of course, the deals were unbelievable! Good luck trying to find better deals on designer brands than Max Pawn. Everything is certified to be authentic and is top quality. Literally everybody was happy with what they were purchasing to the point where people were screaming with joy. One woman actually danced out of the store! I’m very pleased with my purchases (I couldn’t help myself, I had to purchase more than one thing!) and would definitely come back! See you guys next time when I go to Vegas again!

Yelp needs to allow ZERO stars. Their customer service is BS. My husband bought me a coach purse there. Big mistake. I go to use the purse and the zipper is broken. And it is missing the shoulder strap. I couldnt even use the purse. My husband tried to return it or get at least store credit and their response was, if the yellow tag isnt intact on the purse- theres nothing we can do for you. Who gives a purse to someone as a gift with an eyesore like that on it. I call the them and the salesman will dealt with my husband, told him it was okay to remove the tag. Andy. He got so rude and sarcastic with me on the phone. I ask for a manager. Steve. He was not wanting to hear what I had to say. He accused me of yelling at him to which I said, telling the truth is yelling? I told him he knowingly sold a defective purse and does not care. This is how they treat a member and family of law enforcement. Lesson learned. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Max Pawn, where have you been all my life? Im from Henderson myself, and the trip to Max Pawn is worth it. After a recent call in to Pawn Talk Live on 100.5 KXNT, I visited the store. Having both good and bad experiences with pawn shops, this hit me right the moment I pulled up. The parking lot was clean, and there was no one loitering, or looking to hawk their stuff before you even got to the door. The prices are fair and there is great variety. Being a guitar player myself, I was impressed with the selection of my personal favorite brands Ibanez, Jackson, and Charvel. And honestly, where else can you shop for guitars and DVDs while your wife looks at purses and jewelry? While most pawn shops will literally buy anything, Max Pawn is stocked with quality items. Being a collector of quality instruments, I look forward to years of returned business at Max Pawn, keep up the good work!

This pawn shop wants the latest and best phones at this pawn shop. They have OVER PRICED last gen androids flagship phones. The phones are $100 more for a used. You can buy a brand new one for their asking price. I was denied to pawn my phones. Also they want zero defects on sunglasses. I saw some flaws on their glasses. This place is a joke. This place only wants mint conditions items. Dont be fool by the ratings here. Yes this has the highest rating for a pawn shop. This is the reason why i went here today. The customer service was awesome! Be warn you will waste your time trying to sell your stuff here. Sell your last year item else. They want 2015 items but have 2013-14 items. Go to best buy or gamestop to trade in electronics for credit. Go to HIGH Rate ebay seller or take a risk on craiglist. Fyi ask for the imei number to see of the phone is on blacklist.

Heard about Max Pawn from a girl at work. She heard me talking about buying my girlfriend Tatiana a Louis Vuitton bag for her birthday. She told me to go see Steve at MaxPawn. I stopped in a little skeptical about buying a used bag at first. When I saw the incredible selection and the prices I actually got 2 bags for less than i would have spent on the 1 . I couldnt even tell the bags were used !!! With Steves help and extreme knowledge about the bags I felt great about my purchase ! Tatiana was VERY happy with her birthday PRESENTS!! Thank you MaxPawn !! Ill be back for Christmas presents,cant wait to see the new store ! Cris M.
