I have been doing buying/trading/selling business with all of the Boise Pawn 1 shops and am on a first name basis with many of the managers and employees. They are great to work deals with, fair, honest, and always eager to help. Bottom line is they work their tails off trying to serve anyone and everyone fairly and efficiently. I visit at least 2 of them weekly and while I dont buy on a majority of my visits, they still treat me as a valued customer and take the time to show me whatever .I might be interested in at the time, They are good people. Go visit them next time you are needing or wanting a new tool, musical instrument, electronics, lawnmower or just about anything. You will save a lot of money if you find what you are looking for. Oh.. also if you need to sell or get a pawn loan on something, they can help you out.

Very VERY Dissappointing! In Jan my son ran away and had a 21 year old sell his ps 4 and PS 3 to this place.They were his stations that I had bought him for christmases. They were not stolen. I got him home 2 days later and wanted to get back the systems. I was willing to pay what they had given my son and interst for it and was told no that I could not but that I could pay triple what they gave my son in a month and get them back that way if I wanted them back. My mother worked as a pawn shop manager for 13 years, I grew up around pawn shops and they could have done that but refused. I will NEVER do buisness with a company like this that is content to bleed someones parents.

This loction is fantastic! I go in about one or twice a week to find movies and I always find great deals. I have bought several ps3 and Xboxs and never have I dealt with an issue. I met a gal who was the manager and asked her several question on how some devices operate and she was very intelligent. She was able to answer all my questions in a timely manner and to top it off she had an excellent customer service in this store. As to what Ive seen the team at this location always make sure your assisted and treated with appropriately and with manners. By far this has been my favorite Pawn one is the treasure valley.

I got an ipod from here that ended up not working. They gladly exchanged it and even hooked me up and gave me a better model. They are scholarly and polite like a fair maiden from 17th century Scotland. If this store was a berry i would pick it. If it was a tree i would climb it. If it was a romanian orphan i would adopt it. If it was a stop light i would stop at it. Also, no one in the store was wearing rotisserie chickens as mittens, it was good to see and the ambience was embracing.

Ive bought movies, electronics, and games at great prices. I sold some old DVDs that were either duplicates of items that my girlfriend had or that Id also bought on Bluray and I felt some of those were a bit under-priced, but I suppose once they got on Netflix the value probably dropped significantly. Also, they helped me get a locksmith to my house one day when I got locked out. TL;DR - Great place to buy electronics, but if you want good money out of your stuff, ebay it instead.

I went in and bought a subwoofer box for my truck. They said that it would fit my 98 dodge 1500. when i went to install it, the box did not fit doing so research it was made for a ford 1500. i contacted pawn 1 and they said they would not refund me my money back saying we sale as is, even though i was lied to. they are a very shady place. dont trust them with any thing. they are just out to steal from people.

To my grave disappointment there were no greasy dudes in Budweiser tank tops here, only professionals in company polos. I scored a Diamond Back bike (appears to be brand new) for about $100.00. I think my purchase nego was helpful because I purchased some jewelry as well. I didnt feel unsafe in the way I probably would in some other pawn store situations.

sadly I go here often to get loans on tools. the staff is friendly and they work with me on loan amounts and on extensions for rewrites. they also courtesy call when your loan is due. love this location but all the pawn 1 locations are the same way. great pawn shops. most of the things I have purchased were fairly priced and work great.

Bought a home audio receiver that was as-is because the center channel crackled. After I got home it said overload after 30 min of music. The receipt said no exchanges our refunds. They still offered an exchange and when nothing comparable was found they issued a refund. They went above and beyond even though the terms said they didnt have to

young immature staff. Took a couple items in and the kid that helped me broke my item literally. And then hands it back telling me hell pass on it. And when i confronted him he had the nerve to look at me at say he didnt break it. When clearly the item worked until the inexperience kicked in with the item and he fried it. Rude and lucky.

I went in there with my sister and it was good until we had to wait like 20 minutes just for someone to go and get us a game . Then we went to pay for game with my card and my sister had her Id and I always get games with her and my card . And this is the first time. Every store lets us use it. Bad experience!
