I checked online for a particular car make/model I wanted. The car that I wanted was listed as being at the Drivetime in Union City. I went to the dealership, and asked if they had the car that I saw in the online listing and they did. I drove the car around the block and went in to do the paperwork. No accidents on the Carfax, few owners. The car drove fine to me, it seemed as though the car had casual wear and tear, and the paint looked above average. A couple hours later I had the keys in hand, smiling as I left. I had a very good impression of the sales team and thought they did a wonderful job making the buying process quick and painless. Two days later the check engine light came on and the car started driving really, really bad. When just starting the car up and letting it sit in park running, the car would shake very badly. The car would drive, but was hesitant to respond when giving it gas, and had little to no power. I really liked and wanted this car so I just hoped it would just need general maintenance as it was at 63k miles. I figured it needed the 60k mile maintenance. I checked the “5 year warranty” they sold me with the car. It mentions how they will not pay for “maintenance”, “tune-ups”, and “spark plugs” among other things (even within 15 days of buying the car) and I knew I was in trouble. Thankfully for me this car broke so quickly and I was covered under the 5 day return policy. I took the car back on Monday (bought in on Friday) and told them I wanted to cancel the sale and for them to return my down payment. The sales team wanted to fix the car, but I was scared to take that chance. I didn’t believe the auto work could be done and tested within the remaining 2-3 day period of no return. I felt like any work needed should have already been done. I was told by the sales manager that because I paid my down payment using debit, that I would have to wait 3 days for a check to get sent, and they would call me when the check came. I was told if I would have used credit then Drivetime could have refunded my money immediately (good to know now). Well, of course they never called me and when I called Drivetime on Thursday the check was not there. I called on Monday and the check is still not there. Six days after I returned my car I am still without my refund. I really hope I get my money back soon as now I don’t have a car or my money to put down on another car elsewhere. I would not recommend anyone to buy a car from Drivetime. If you have to buy at Drivetime, I recommend you test drive it straight to the dealership of the manufacturer and let them check the car before signing the contract.

Today is my 21st birthday and I am overwhelmed with the joy I got from working with Mr.Emmett Mitchell! He went above and beyond to help me leave the lot with my beautiful blue 2011 Prius! It is now the month of August and I am back on track getting ready to drive off the lot with my new 2012 Black Toyota Prius! Which Mr.Mitchell had pulled to the side for me to see as soon as I pulled up! Mr.Emmett Mitchell is the epitome of magnificent customer service. He goes above and beyond each time and gives 150%, people like him are rare in this world! If you want the best car buying experience of your life PLEASE come see Mr.Emmett Mitchell! All youll be able to do is enjoy every second of that special experience!

When I bought my GMC Evoy, I was so happy. The car ran fantastic. I was told by my salesperson (Angel WIlliams) Drivetimes warranty is they are not to sell a car on their lot if there were any damages and also the car had passed a 4 pt Test. So I was okay. After the test drive Angel pointed out to me the back window defroster was broken. She told me to take it to Drivetime on Memorial Dr. To make a long story short, their service center broke my MOTOR!!! They didnt want to repair it nor replace the car!!! The price in the window of the car is not what your paying for the car!!! So their "WARRANTY COMPANY" is not real. DONT BUY IT!!! After several times of attenpts to fix the truck it finally worked out with the shop that I went to. However the main reason I went for repairs was to get the things that were wrong when I drove off the lot fixed. I still didnt get those fixed because ANGEL WILLIAMS LIED!!! She said she didnt know anything about a window defroster. What an experience!!! I now have working with an attorney. PLEASE READ BETWEEN THE LINES ON YOUR CONTRACT. BE AWARE OF ANGEL WILLIAMS. SHES NO ANGEL.

had been looking for a new vehc for almost a week!!! WORD OF ADVICE WHEN LOOKING FOR A VEHC NEVER GO TO PARS CARS OR YOU WILL BE THERE GOING THROUGH HELL FOR 2 DAYS JUST TO FIND OUT THEY WANT MORE MONEY FOR A OLD beat UP CAR WITH OVER 200,000 MILES AND NO WARANTY...after a long day and finally giving up on getting a car i stopped by DRIVE TIME and Mr.Emmett Mitchell was the BEST SALES REP I HAVE EVER SEEN AND BELIEVE ME I WORK FOR GEICO AND I HAVE SEEN SOME GOOD SALES REP BUT NONE LIKE Mr. Emmett Mitchell!!! i told him exactly what i wanted and what i had down WHEN I TELL YOU IT ONLY TOOK HIM 10min tops to get me approved and put me in the car i wanted with less miles 2 waranties and newer model I AM NOT LYING!!! I havent had any problems with the vehc so far it rides smooth and looks bassically like a 2015/16 vehc...IF YOU ARE TRYING TO GET A VEHC WITH BAD CREDIT NO CREDIT GOOD CREDIT WHAT EVER CREDIT GO TO DRIVE TIME AS FOR Mr.Emmett Mitchell AND I PROMISE YOU HE WILL GET YOU APPROVED AND PUT YOU IN THE CAR OF YOUR DREAMS WITHIN 15min

I must say that I was skeptical at first to do business with this location due to the customer service that I had over the phone. However, because of my situation and knowing that I needed a vehicle I did anyway, I figured the worst that could happen would be me leaving without a vehicle. Steven, the General Manager, assisted me and made sure that my time was worth the wait. He called several other Drive Time locations to make sure that I found a vehicle that I liked. The other guy John, who went to the other location for the vehicle, was also helpful as well. Georgia was also in the mix and a few others whose name I dont have. Overall I would recommend this location because these guys are all hard working and seemed to be dedicated to their jobs. I would suggest that you bring lunch to the staff as a courtesy because they never took a break while I was there. Thank you guys so much! Im enjoying my vehicle!!!
