Update 10/20: I received my ring back after working with A&J to remedy the issue. Pros: They had a plan to fix my ring and were very receptive to my input and questions. They made a graphic rendering of it, a physical model of it, and had me check at each point of the rebuild. I say rebuild because their main goal was to rebuild the ring to its original condition, and I sincerely appreciate their willingness to build this ring from scratch to its original look, and physically, they did a fantastic job. Plus some. My original ring had milgrain on one side, and they added it to the second side. It was a nice addition. I received my ring last week, and I was happy with the results. They made a cast out of the model, and it was returned to me with the same look plus the extra milgrain. I am happy to have the ring back, and my wife is happy to once again see a ring on my finger. Cons: Its not the same ring. The sentimental value with buying a handmade, antique ring is gone. The art of handmade milgrain is not available anymore, and I was saddened to know my ring would be recast in a mould as opposed to the jeweler redoing the milgrain by hand, but I knew it was not possible in 2015. At the same time, it is my own ring now, redesigned to my specifications, but the history is lost, the attention to detail by hand is no longer etched into the ring. These are intangible qualities, but none-the-less, important to me and my original reason for wanting the ring. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I took my ring in to be resized, reduced. It was an antique, one-of-a-kind ring from the 30s with milgrain edging. The milgrain was ruined and is missing on about 20% of the ring. I highly doubt they have the skill to rebuild the milgrain, but I will be returning it for them to attempt to fix. I have absolutely no idea why the milgrain would be missing when it was a reduction in size and not an increase. This review will be revised or edited depending on the outcome. Extremely pissed off!

Jessica, A&J’s buyer/store manager, listened to my personal jewelry requests and immediately went to work selecting and locating the perfect stones. I was overwhelmed at the significant selection offered and again impressed by Jessica’s knowledge and professional opinion. Walking into A&J I had numerous questions, walking out I felt at ease and knew my purchase and search would end with this company. A&J is well known for their classic and traditional pieces, however, if you have a flare for contemporary elegant pieces you will not be disappointed. Take the time to stop at this hidden secret and get to know the friendly staff. You won’t be disappointed. I have referred A&J to several friends and family members. They too have had nothing short of a fantastic buying experience.

Disappointed in stores effort to honor in-store credit. My wife purchased our wedding set, and rings for our children. We purchased the wedding set, but the decided to get something different for the children. Instead of giving a refund, the store said we could only get in-store credit in the form of a credit card. In the midst of moving, the credit card was lost. The store would not reissue the credit card or honor the in-store credit. There excuse was anyone could come into the store and use the credit card because they do not ask for identification. First, they should ask for some form of identification. Second, after accepting our business, they basically treat us as if we are going to come into the store and lie to them about not being able to find the credit card. Very disappointed.

My (now) husband and I wandered into A & J Jewelers one day casually shopping for engagement rings. Jessica helped us and she was so fun and out going. She was very helpful about payment options and really made it a personalized experience! When the time came for him to purchase my ring he remembered this and went right back to Jessica. By the way, the whole staff is great! Not only did he get the wedding set of my dreams, he went back and bought an additional matching wedding band to place on the other side, beautifully finishing off my gorgeous ring for our one year anniversary! We live in Covington and will happily make the drive for all our fine jewelry needs to A&J!! Thanks for such a great experience!

So my husband and I went to their store on a Monday to get some estimates done. I also wanted to see if I could customize a wedding ring since when we got married, we could only afford the band. Their service was amazing. They were very personable and professional. They looked at my heirloom ring and gave me an estimate to have a wedding ring made out of it for a reasonable price. I would definitely suggest them! Since this was my first time, I plan to update my review as time goes on since it takes 4-5 weeks of them designing the ring. Please go check them out. They are a no pressure jewelry store, and they have AMAZING designs. Their work looks awesome by the way and they are very easy going.

I have gotten many pieces of beautiful jewerly from A & Js. The selection and the quailty is wonderful. The owners and the two girls that work there are always so helpful, You are always greeted with a smile and a hello no matter how busy they are. This family owned store is by far the best in service, answering questions, and making your shopping experience a place you will continue to shop at. They are always willing to clean and check the jewerly you have on during your visit. I would be proud to suggest A & J Jewelers to anyone and know they will have a wonderful visit.

A&J Jewelers are obviously committed to a great customer experience. I immediately felt welcomed and invited into the store. They waste no time helping you find exactly what you are looking for. It took me a few minutes to decide what i wanted, but only because they have such a wide variety and selection. I am always looking for the next best deal or sale, and I felt very content knowing that I made a purchase at such a great price. They have the Kendra Scott Jewelry Line, and guess what? I didnt have to drive to downtown Atlanta to get it. Seriously, take my word for it.

Fantistic store, beautiful selections, amazing people! We have never been disappointed with the products or the level of customer service we have received here. They just recently reset my wedding ring for me - I found a setting I loved, but it wouldnt work for the shape of my stone. Amit custom designed a ring for me to fit my stone and it turned out amazing, and I was involved in every step of the process! We will not shop at another jewelry store, A&J Jewelers really goes above and beyond, and for this reason we will be loyal customers for a very long time!!!
