Called in inquiring about SeaStar Steering System parts...yes...very common parts. I get a girl that cant speak English very well that knows NOTHING about boats. After 10 minutes of Web searching...shes still lost. I kindly ask to speak with some one who has knowledge of boat steering systems. She puts me on hold and I hang up 25 minutes later. No wonder this outfit is fast putting themselves OUT OF BUSINESS. They never have what you are lookin for but they can "order it online for pick up". Guess what...I can do that at home and have many companies to choose from. Horrible customer service!

Prices a bit above average here. Rather good selection of boat accessories and toys but service was disappointing. Didnt seem like the salespeople knew a lot about boat parts in general and couldnt answer simple questions. Also, the younger male salesperson seemed rude and irritated. Although this is probably the closest such store to home, I think Ill order online through another vendor and wait a few days rather than return here.

A wasted trip. I did not see one person in the entire store even though I was standing next to the electronics stand trying to buy GPS gear. The place is run like a ghost town. How do they stay in business?!! Apparently, they only have one employee in here most of the time, who is a nice guy, but I sort of feel sorry for him running a big store by himself. I would imagine security would be a problem.

Ordered anchor very nice one and called customer service 3 times and told it was on shipping dock for 2 day delivery 3 weeks in a row . No anchor no customer service. Found a new one on ebay and delivered in 2 days for a lot less. No more for West Marine.
