I came in Sunday afternoon and they were super busy but Anthony and Bob (I hope I got names right) were so helpful! They took time to go above and beyond for me even though the store was busy. Im pretty sure they were the only ones working too. Ive gone to places like Dicks where there were 10 plus associates working and did not get the same knowledge and service I did at Miami Outfitters. Help out your small business owners and shop here! You will not be disappointed!

Ok first off I feel bad for not buying any thing lol. My family and I have been thinking about hiking ( I have a 8 year old and a 10 month old). I forget his name but he came right over and answered every question I had, did not pressure me to buy a thing. I was looking for a baby carrying pack and not only did they have one he fitted me and my little one to the pack. Awesome place I will be back. Just want ready to drop $200 yet lol. Keep up the good work.

Everything an outfitter should be! Every time Ive been in Great Miami Outfitters I have been impressed with the friendliness and enthusiasm of the staff, as well as the selection of products. They have everything from a huge selection of canoes and kayaks and camping/backpacking items, to small cinches and buckles (which are essential to replace if you have a factory one break and are hard to find elsewhere). I would recommend this store to anyone!

Awesome store! Ive been shopping here since they opened a few years ago. They have always been very helpful and know their products. Great selection of outdoor gear - Im like a kid in a candy store. Ive only had one problem with a pair of boots that the sole started to come apart after a few months. They took care of me immediately and I was very satisfied. I would highly recommend this store if you want the best gear and advice!

I will only be shopping here for the rest of my outdoor gear/materials. Best place in the Dayton area for outdoor gear, hands down. I walked in one day just to check it out and had a blast. Staff is awesome--very friendly and very knowledgeable. Not into kayaks much, but they have a fantastic kayak selection here. Also, very surprised they had Duluth packs!

Great gear, they only carry high quality stuff which can be hard to find around here. The prices are very competitive, I have found gear here cheaper than online. I have never met more friendly staff, they were very helpful answering my questions. And if they didnt know the answer, then they would actually research it! Topnotch!

Great gear shop. The staff are always friendly and eager to help you out on whatever your next adventure is. And even if they dont stock something they are often willing to help get it for you. They also have a rewards program which is nice if youre constantly needing to pick up a few more things for your next trip.

This is the best store around for quality outdoor gear. The staff members really know their stuff and will not steer you wrong. They also dont push you to buy something you dont need. If you only want to buy your gear once, you should avoid the big box stores and just go to Great Miami Outfitters.

Came in looking for a hiking carrier for my 1 year old. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. They let my wife and I walk around the store for a while with our son in it. Needless to say, we loved the carrier! Will definitely come back for any future outdoor needs.

Amazing selection and friendly knowledgeable staff. Comparison shopped and found that great miamis prices were cheaper then amazons, and in the rare instance that they werent they priced matched. Love this store.
