I just read Matts review, and I have to say, CVS does not deserve this kind of review. First off, its YOUR prescription, so you should know what youre taking, and what you are using it for. YOU should be more proactive in taking care of yourself and your health, You dont even know what youre taking (thats the funniest part). YOU should notice when a doctor makes a mistake. Why are you blaming the pharmacy? Why dont you blame your doctor for writing the prescription wrong? I mean, if youve had the same doctor for so long, he should remember you and remember exactly what you take, and write your script correct the first time orund right? Why not jump down your doctors throat and call them and whine about how they wrote it wrong? Different prescriptions have different regulations via FDA and government laws. Theres a big difference between a controlled substance vs. a non control.Controlled substances and some others (even non controlled) may be strictly regulated and pharmacists could lose their license by giving it out incorrectly or not giving it according to instructions. That would be against the law. I dont understand how you can bash a pharmacy because the pharmacist was trying to abide by the law. Go to your local government officials and complain to them. If you have that much time to pester a pharmacy, you could have EASILY called your doctor and get that script changed. For one, doctors have caller IDs and when pharmacists call dr.s they usually HAVE to leave a message by default via the teleprompter. If you have that much time, you should dial the doctors phone number and see for yourself. Receptionist generally deal with patients and scheduling, not pharmacists. Usually the pharmacist has to talk to a nurse or leave a message. Get your facts straight before you leave horrible reviews that are erroneous. btw, i left a 3 star review b/c Ive never been to this pharmacy, but I feel like I had to stick up for the pharmacy profession.

It took me 4 trips to the pharmacy, 4 episodes where they said they could not allow my prescription (which is whatever the lowest level prescription is- lower than adderall) without speaking to my doctor. The first time my doctor I think I was 3 days early (before 30 days had passed after it was been filled) and my Dr. had to call in a 6 pill prescription (I take 2/day). The next month I came in after 30 days had passed and was told that with the directions on the scrip it should last me 2 months (my Dr. usually writes 1-2 per day, and this time had accidentally written one. They had about a years worth of records showing this, but would still said they would have to call my Dr.s office and verify, then they would contact when it was confirmed. I got a call back 3 days later saying they had called, gotten no answer, and that was it. My Dr. has two receptionists up front and personal answering service for after hours calls, meaning that it was patently impossible for them to have gotten no answer. This time, because I had changed physicians, I once again had to wait until the next day. I called them this afternoon and said that when they called my Dr.s office at 8 AM they didnt get an answer but left a message. I explained to them that this practice was only open from 10AM-6PM and that if they call anytime during those hours there wouldnt be a problem. They responded, "Why dont you just call them and then have them call us. Normally Im not the type to do a persons own job for them, but I did. So that marks the last time I will ever use that pharmacy again due to their repeated incidences of incompetence.

I love shopping at CVS. That said, this store has the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a CVS, rolling their eyes at me and refusing to accept my coupon because the machine beeped even though I had met all of the restrictions on the coupon. Started ringing up another customer before I was finished checking out (had divided purchase into seperate transactions). Took forever to pay because the manager had to come and approve every single ECB I used, which has never happened at any other CVS. Meanwhile a huge line was forming and the cashier was staring at me like an idiot. Save the frustration and embarrassment and go to the one up the road, where they are happy to make your transactions go smoothly and manuallly correct any register errors. The only positive thing about shopping here is that they are much more likely than other stores to have really good sale items in stock later in the week- probably because all the bargain shoppers avoid this store.

I generally like CVS. And I am giving this an extra star because they are open 24 hours and the rest of the store is nice. But I have had so many issues with the daytime staff of the pharmacy. I have gone here for about a year but am not in the process of moving over to the rite aid next to my house (who are very nice, but sadly not open 24 hours). Here are just a few things that have happened: received the wrong prescription, hung up on numerous times, refused to fill prescription, refused to fax my doctor, was told to wait 15 minutes and ended up being 45, and just general rudeness of most of the stuff. If this is the only pharmacy you can use I would suggest trying to go later at night. The later the better. The night staff is much more friendly and helpful. But really at some point you will have to use them during the day and you will find out how frustrating it can be. Good luck! Hope this helps!

Historically, CVS provides great customer service. This location is the exception. I have tried 3 or 4 different times to simply fill a generic prescription. They have never given me my prescription within the 15 minutes they told me it would take. Ive tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this has happened everytime. When I drove thru, they told me not to wait at the window because, "It times us...". With how slow they are, they need to be timed. Not to mention the last time they only filled one of the two prescriptions I had dropped off. They forgot the other one, so I had to wait again. Bless their hearts, the pharmacy here is a joke.

First off, I need to give credit where credit is due. The NON-PHARMACY staff is wonderful. They are helpful, welcoming, & always make me smile. That being said -- I have never in my life experienced a more incompetent pharmacy staff. Ive used this pharmacy three times, all with issues mostly involving laziness/stupidity. Do yourself a favor -- use the Walgreens across the street. They even give you a gift card if you transfer your prescription! I dont understand how the people who work at this CVS collect a paycheck. I always feel like Im on an episode of Punkd or Boiling Points.

Honestly i wish there were negative stars!! I shop with cvs on a daily basis but this locations staff has to be the worst Ive ever seen!!! The cashier was extremely rude and would not honor their own advertised sale price!! The manager completely disregarded me and acted as if she didnt have time to deal with me!! I have never been so frustrated over buying hair care!!!!!
