As a former patient safety manager I have a very critical eye when it comes to the people who provide care for my family, the cleanliness of the establishment and the professional standards that are enforced or ignored at any given place. I was so pleased to find expeditious professional service, by knowledgeable caring providers (AND THEIR ENTIRE STAFF), served in an immaculately clean environment. Every person in this office impressed at every step of the process. I had scheduled a previous appointment for myself and three children at another facility and it was a pain in the neck. I was placed on hold and/or transferred at least four times, and suffice it to say that we ended up with appointments stretched over a period of 4 weeks, with one on call back, and that is after 45 minutes on the phone repeating the same information over and over for each patient. On a whim I called McDonough Family Eye Care and they were able to give appointments for all of us on the same day within three days! I provided information once and they were smart enough to know it applied to all!! The day of the appointment we were greeted immediately by friendly, professional staff, and were never once left waiting for anything! I cannot give them high enough marks! Top Shelf!! Great service started the minute I called for an appointment and continued through the final visit! We were assisted by both Dr. Werners & both were patient & kind with my children, genuine and thorough with the exam and the process. And as I noted in another review on a different website "they truly take every measure to work within your budget" even going so far as to price two styles of contact lenses for my son to demonstrate value over time! Thank you so very much!

My daughter has been coming here since she was three. I have rated them 5 stars because it has been one of the best experiences for her. The waiting area is small but very well decorative and comfortable for both adults and kids alike. As soon as you walk through the door you are warmly greeted by a smiling receptionist. This is rare now days! I most note that the waiting area is equipment with a lego wall for kids and a two person floor standing game machine. My daughter loves pac-man! Who am I kidding, I love it too. The wait was not long which is a plus. Understanding that anyone may be a bit skirmish at the though of anything coming near the eye, they have have several options for kids. My daughter has seen both Dr. Scot and Dr. Brenda and loved them both. Oh..I almost forgot to mention the treasure chest. At the conclusion of your childs exam, s/he is able to choose a treat from the treasure chest. This is my daughters incentive to behave. ;-) I have found that they take time to answer all of your questions and I did not feel rushed. I have been so impressed by this practice, that I have scheduled an eye exam for myself! This place is amazing. I highly recommend them. Stop by and have your eyes checked. Trust me - you will enjoy your experience.

I was Pleasantly surprised with the friendliness, informative nature of examination, service, and the overall feeling that I was their most important customer. As a professional pilot seeing as you might imagine is very important to me. After receiving world class eye care for over 28 years in the Navy I thought it would be hard to match. I was wrong.... Kyle was absolutely wonderful in the screening process & preliminary examination explaining every little detail. Their modern equipment exceeds everything Id ever been exposed to in the service. Thought I might be too old for contacts having never worn them. Wrong again... Stacy trained me up and bingo ! I can see. Freedom from my glasses when I dont want to wear them. Im currently trying the monthly wear but also planning to try the daily multifocal. Im Very pleased with McDonough Family Eye Care. Dr Brenda Werner and her staff were the absolute best!! Racist assistants. As I was getting help, one of the assistants told me I didnt have enough money to pay for my Prada glasses (which I am wearing right now) and contacts, which I have sitting on my desk in front of me. Doctors are money hungry and want you to come in for everything as if their patients dont work. Wont even write a prescription for a patient that just had an eye exam less than a month ago to get more money. I wish I had never went here, very disappointed in this place, expected more with the high ratings but definitely received awful service on more than one occasion. Go to a place where people care about their patients, not their money and how much they can get out of them. They dont follow through with their hours, they close almost an hour early on ANY given day. I got a call to pick up my glasses that the assistant said I couldnt afford, and to pick them up before they closed. So I drove up there at 2 pm and they had closed extremely early. I hate this place, as soon as I am able to switch places I am, this place is a trap.

I have been wearing glasses for 52 years and for the first time was very impressed with the technology Dr. Scot and his staff utilizes at McDonough Family Eye Care! Not only does this office offer the latest technology available, Dr. Scott and his staff conduct a very professional, yet relaxed environment for their patients. Ryan was courteous and informative as I asked him questions as he conducted all the basic tests on this high-tech equipment. Dr. Scot was professional in his exam of my eyes and communicated his findings, and also offered the latest findings on the effects to our eyes from using "blue" screen devices (computers, cell phones, etc.). And finally, Stacy helped me choose a great pair of glasses by listening to my description of what I wanted in a frame and giving me options to fit my needs without the high pressure sales. I am so happy and satisfied that I finally found an eye care professional that I trust and feel confident in their care of my eyes! Thank you McDonough Family Eye Care!

I visited McDonough Family Eye Care after receiving poor customer care at another local eye doc. The attention, patience, and level of personal and professional respect to each customer was far superior at MFEC. They reassed my eye glass prescription and found that it was too strong and corrections were made. My prior doc said to deal with contacts that didnt color properly. The staff at McDonough listened and I now have a pair of contacts that work. Also, I am very picky as to the shape of my glasses. Stacy saw what my old frames where like and recalled a simular pair that was not on display. She got them for me to see and I Love them. A++ customer service. My daughter will be seeing them soon.

McDonough Family Eye Care is exactly what the name says. They really are like family to you. I have only been here twice but I know without a doubt that is where I will continue to return. I wish Id known about them years ago. Oswin was such a gentleman and explained all that would be taking place during my visit. Stacy was super patient while I went back and forth with frame styles. Never once did I feel rushed or unappreciated. The location is always clean, refreshing and welcoming. Everyone has a smile and they all seem to get along well with each other; which also is important to me. Give them a try and I promise youll SEE the difference!
