My daughter purchased a Honda Rebel this past weekend from Freedom Powersports of McDonough, and I went along for moral support. She had been searching for quite some time to find the right bike at the right price. It took a while, but when she stumbled across Jason Hooper, and began the "jump through the hoops" process typically required in any motor vehicle purchase, the search was over. How refreshing to find an honest salesperson. Most of the time they try to push hard to get you to buy something you dont really want (or need), but such was not the case with Jason. He listened to what my daughter wanted, and he came up with the solution. The entire process was conducted in a very friendly manner. It was almost as if we had known Jason forever. Over and above being an excellent salesperson, he is just a nice guy. After the deal was struck, we were turned over to the business office to take care of the necessary paperwork. Often that is where things can turn unpleasant fast, but not in this instance. The friendly, informative, non-pushiness (is that even a word? If not, it should be.) continued where Jason left off. It isnt uncommon to be bombarded with the up-sell at this stage of the game, but this time it was different. We did receive an up-sell, but it was for things that were actually of value to a customer - especially a firsttme rider/buyer. We walked into the dealership hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. We left with the new bike and smiles on our faces. That had to have been the best experience I have EVER had buying a vehicle. I must say I was a little surprised when I saw some negative feedback here, but as they say "you cant please all the people all the time." Im sure if those people had gone to the manager with their concerns, it would have been dealt with promptly, and to their satisfaction. If you or someone you know is looking for a motorcycle, do yourselves a favor and call Freedom Powersports of McDonough first. You will save yourself a lot of time and grief.....and money! You can bet your bottom dollar thats where we will be going then next time we need anything.

Let me start by thanking the crew at Cycle Nation of McDonough. You guys took care of me and took all my questions for the last three years that I have been coming in. Dean, Becki, John, Alex, Russ, Stuart, Diontae, and Aaron all took care of me at one point or another. Sales Managers answering questions about helmets, the store manager talking to me about charity rides and other riding events and taking time to answer questions. Sales associates that knew my face, and knew I wasnt buying still treated me with respect and walked around with me talking and taking my questions, without the friggin sales pressure that would have chased me out a long time ago had I ever encountered it. These people talked to me like I was an old friend or another rider on the road. Then, I came back again, to run the numbers on my dream bike. They got me the bike I wanted for so long, made the payments happen below what I realistically asked for. I lookie looed in this store for years and always was treated in a way that made me feel welcome. Because I was treated so well, I have brought my bike back for regular service, and a little warranty work. I work for a large corporation here in Atlanta and I understand the importance of quality work. These guys have never disappointed me. Ive always left with a clean safe machine. I dont put up with any BS, and have no lick of patience for rude service or lack of knowledge when I get my bike serviced. I enjoyed doing business with these folks, and I have even gotten some contact information for future rides with the staff who I like to think of as friends. May sound a little mushy, but honesty and integrity go a long way with me. Ill continue to do business with these guys.

I have a 2007 Yamaha Grizzly 660 that I had worked on at another shop to have a tune-up and the carburetor worked on. I was advised that it was ready and picked it up, brought it home and rolled it into the garage. Well two months later I started it and nothing but trouble. I contacted them and they advised since it sat, fuel off, that the carburetor had to be rebuilt again. I decide to take it to Freedom Powersports in McDonough and was advised by their shop that the carburetor was assembled incorrectly. They rebuilt it and it has run fine since that date. I adopted my two grandsons after my daughter passed away six years ago after giving birth to her youngest. Well this past November they were 8 and 5 (now 9 & 6). I wanted to get them each a 4 wheeler for Christmas so I did some looking online and decided on a Polaris 50 & 110 for each of them. My previous experience with Freedom Powersports I decided to stop in to see if they had or could get the Polaris 4 wheelers for me. Upon my arrival I spoke with Heather Gonzales (Sales) and they had both the Outlaw 50 & 110. She worked with me and we talked price and she discussed it with Tim and we all came together on a fair price. I was happy with both of them. I left the 4 wheelers there till it got closer to Christmas and when the date came up to get them one of the 4wheelers came up bad. They contacted me and substituted one of the units and swapped all the paperwork. The entire group from sales and service have been great and open to any and all questions I have had. They have earned my business for service and any future purchases.

My name is actually Paul Garland. I was dealing with a guy in the service department named Bucky. He was always on top of every thing walking me process of fixing my 4 wheeler. He let me no up front when there was a compression problem the price and how this could change getting into this. To beware of other mechanical failures. well to some it up. I was to pay 600 for the tear down and for them to let me no what needed to be fixed. The problem was way worse than i was hoping. I let him no that i only had a thoasand dollars and at this point i couldnt pay for the repair. which was like 2,300. I already owed like 600 for the tear down. I was prepared and told this could happen just depending what all was wrong. The piston had came apart and went into the crankcase which was the worst thing to happen. I explained to him i could pay the 600, but this would leave me no money and no chance of getting another 4 wheeler. I pleeded with Bucky please try to help me. Is there anyway that you can keep the 4 wheeler and knock off the six hundred dollar bill. He said let me talk to my manager and ill see what he says, and ill call you back today. Finally the phone call I have been waiting on came in, it was Bucky. He said i got some good news. Just come down and sign some paper work and we will keep it, what we will do with it i dont no.There were so many problems with it i really dont no what they would have done with it. So I really feel like there team cut me a 600 dollar break. For that, know i was able to purchase a good 4 wheeler at a low price. Thank you Bucky. Your a life saver and team.
