Most Horrible Experience of Car Buying!!!! I purchased a 2013 Nissan Sentra SV from Roswell Auto Imports, Marietta, GA on the 3rd of June 2017. We got the vehicle checked by a local shop of an auto repair chain. On the outside, diagnostics seemed fine. We test drove it and finalized the deal with the manager thinking that even if the vehicle is sold "as is", it looks fine and we were sure it would still meet the minimum criteria of being “safe to drive on the road”. This is a responsibility of the dealership (being confirmed by multiple dealerships) to ensure this minimum safety requirement is met when he gets the car from a bank/auction. After driving few hundred miles (Atlanta to Knoxville), the car started making extreme squeaking noise from the back and we had to replace both the rear drum brakes and shoes and also fixed the alignment in a reputed mechanic shop. We accepted all these problems considering the car was sold "as is". On June 20, 2017, two weeks after purchase, the car wouldnt speed up on the road and started jerking. We took the car to a local Nissan Dealership in Knoxville. They mentioned that the CVT had been extensively worked on before being handed over to us. The Nissan dealership also noted evidence of CVT removal having been done on the car. The axle in the car was found to be improper/incorrect; it was a smaller part that does not fit in a Nissan Sentra. This is completely unethical and unjustified on part of the dealership to have sold this car without informing us that the axle in the car was wrong. “The pre- purchase car check-up” was not able to pick it up until we fixed the alignment and the mis-fitting axle came off. The incorrect passenger axle pulled out of transmission on the road and all the transmission fluid ran out making the transmission unusable. This is a life-threatening situation that could have gotten us in a major accident or near dead experience if we were on highway speed on any interstate. Now the car would not move until we fix the axle and the transmission. This is beyond "as is" and threatens the safety of the driver and passengers. This was something that was intrinsically very wrong with the car that the Roswell dealership should have known and informed us about. The Nissan dealership was kind enough and extremely cooperative to give us in writing that the part inserted in the car was wrong. The car is not even worth half the money I paid the dealer. Even when we accepted all of this and chose to come to a negotiation or some sort of a discussion over the phone with the dealer, I was appalled at how they behaved in the most non cooperative and disrespectful way one can imagine. Let alone a replacement or a refund, we were only kept at the mercy of the sales people and could not even talk to the manager over the phone. The whole situation has left me horrified.

UNTRUSTWORTHY MANAGEMENT.On Sept 17, 2011 DORIAN the General Manager agreed to purchase my RUNNING 96 Ford Explorer that had a MINOR engine problem (couldnt pass emissions with the check engine light on because of a valve I couldnt afford to fix, I know this because the truck had just been returned to me from a Ford Dealership) but before he received my title or paid me for my truck, he tampered with the check engine light (so it wouldnt be on) and SOLD A CAR THAT HE DIDNT OWN! He and I signed a bill of sales so I could protect myself because my situation required me to leave my car at his dealership (little did I know this couldnt protect me). WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE he SOLD the now STOLEN car and it was returned to him with a new transmission problem that he didnt want to fix. So when I call to give him the title he tells me he no longer wanted the car because he cant sell it (when in actuality he had sold the truck and it was returned to him already)! When I asked him what happened between the time of him agreeing to buy the car from me and now he just says "I cant sell it." All this while he has assured me that he hasnt moved the car from his lot and that it has been sitting in the back of his dealership. Dont waste your time making deals with this people. Its not worth the foolishness they put you through. All of these five star reviews are from friends of the dealer so of course they are satisfied. DORIAN I DARE YOU TO REPLY WITH SOME GENERIC RESPONSE ON CUSTOMER SATISFACTION! YOU KNOW YOU WERE WRONG FOR SELLING MY TRUCK BEFORE YOU RECEIVED THE TITLE OR PAID ME FOR IT! NOW ITS BROKE BEYOND REPAIR AND I AM LEFT TO DEAL WITH IT! I AM AN UNEMPLOYED STUDENT AND I WASNT TRYING TO MAKE MONEY OFF THE TRUCK I JUST WANTED A LITTLE BREAK OF $450 BECAUSE I JUST PUT $2000 INTO THE TRUCK A MONTH AGO! ALL THIS FOR $450 I HOPE THIS REVEIW HELPS WARN OTHERS OF THE TYPE OF TRASHY HUMAN BEINGS THEY ARE DEALING WITH BEFORE THEY DECIDE TO DO BUSINESS WITH YOU.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE all three of these guys!! Ok let me start by saying I was adamant about not going to a lying over charging extra fees paying hustling raggedy used car dealer ship. So I had been looking for two months and burnt out and tired of the lying military hustling craigslist folks. Paying to have cars inspected when these people knew there cars were trash. Or the men getting me there then getting mad with me because I want to have the car inspected. The Sequoia was the car I wanted from the start but I could not find one with low miles in the price that I could afford. Then Saturday my 17 yrs daughter came in and decided to help me and in 10 min on a iphone app found these FOLKS!! ROSWELL AUTO IMPORTS. Got it inspected at Pep Boys down the road by a master mac. NO issues..check... Priced at a Fair price..check check...I haggled and won so it came down some more CHECK CHECK CHECK...and me and the owner was able to work out a special warranty. I gave him his cash and he gave me my car. Oh one other great service they have there in the office is this insurance quote machine is great their rates were better than my now old company by 40.00 a month. So by the time I could make it to the first light I had full coverage. Babie bie!!!! Truly a ONE STOP SHOP!!! Wooden, Mohammed and the other gentelmen I can not remember his name I believe he is the owner. He looks mean but is the sweetest. He also gave me some gas when I told him there was none in there.

I purchased a relatively new Jeep Grand Cherokee from Dorian and traded in my car for it. Within two weeks, I began having problems with it that I still cannot afford to get fixed. I found out he merely cleared codes so he could sell it even though the Check Engine light came on within a month because of a bad catalytic converter, bad airbags, destroyed wheel bearings, etc. Not to mention, before I even signed the paperwork for the Jeep, he laughed at me when I said Id like to take it for a pre-purchase inspection. AND when I broke down on the side of the road a week or two after I bought it and had it towed to his dealership, he tried to charge me for the repairs which should have been addressed before the sale. He told me he took the Jeep as a trade-in from some stripper girl when it was obvious he purchased it at auction (there was still clothing - including underwear - weave extensions, and a bag of garbage left in the vehicle). Fast forward a few months, I started receiving mail from the company that had the loan for the car I traded to Dorian for the Jeep saying that I was several payments behind. HE NEVER EVEN PAID OFF THE TRADE-IN LIKE HE WAS SUPPOSED TO AND DEFAULTED ON MY PAYMENTS!!! So now my credit is even more destroyed... He will eventually get what is coming to him. "Businessmen" like this dont last too long.
