I bought what I thought was a good Jeep Scrambler from these guys. I knew that it had a few issues with it when I bought it. So I took the scrambler by a very goof paint and body place. It was there a couple of days when the guy who owned the place called me down and wanted me to take a look at a couple of things. The brake line was shot and rotting. The master cylinder was also leaking fluid like a son of a gun. But the best part was all of the rust on the underside of the tub. When I bought it from the dealership, this thing showed no rust. It had been covered up with Walmart brand rubber in a can. Rust had also been covered up on the outside of the vehicle also by just painting over it. I purchased this jeep from the Preowned Jeep Store out of Cartersville, Ga. I ripped the owner a new one for selling such a pile of crap. Long story short they came and got it and looked at it. They agreed it should have never been sold in this condition, but its still MY fault for not seeing all of that crap to start with when they put It up for sale. I am throwing the bs flag on that. I got some things out of them as a concession for the mess (albeit not very much). It will help with the repairs, but I am still stuck with it. But let this be a lesson to anyone. If anyone is considering buying a vehicle from the preowned jeep store, DONT! They will smile at you during the sale, but if it comes to repairs, they are loathe to do anything and will give you an extremely hard time about it. They say that they never cover up rust like that and they dont check underneath vehicles before they buy them to sale on their lot. That is the biggest load of crap I have ever heard. Who in their right mind buys a vehicle without looking under it first? I am not a mechanic or a paint and body guy. I guess I need to educate myself more before buying another used vehicle. This has got to be one of the most worst ran places I have ever dealt with. I always wanted one of these things, but if I had known it was going to be this much trouble, I would have never bought from the CROOKS AT THE PREOWNED JEEP STORE IN CARTERSVILLE, GA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It would be nice if Georgia would pass some laws to protect consumers when purchasing used vehicles.

I always heard great things about The Preowned Store, so, my wife and I went there last Wednesday. A 6 hour round trip. They paid off my 2013 Z71 ($25,500) and told us that my trade was so new/nice, that I had a $1500 no tax credit. So, ended up buying an 06 Midnight Blue Rubicon, exactly what TJ Ive always wanted! They were asking $19,900, but the owner said they would do $18,000 out the door. We agreed, but noticed they added tax and a lifetime warranty to the final price. I asked them about the tax, and got a roundabout useless answer... Also, asked about the warranty, that I didnt want and they said they used the $1500 tax credit toward it... All in all, we wanted to get rid of the Chevy and always wanted a Wrangler. On the way home, we lost our rear brakes, our parking brake didnt work, and a headlight shot!!!! Today, the windshield was leaking and the starter went out... I understand its a used vehicle, but their service guys were awful. If we had the cash, we would not have gone here to buy anything! Looks like they sprayed the whole undercarriage with textured paint. I removed the plastic Jeep piece in front of the grille and noticed some rough looking rust! Also, what was left of the rear brakes were so rusted... Im going to check the Carfax this weekend, wouldnt surprise me if it was a northern Wrangler.... They have nice looking Jeeps, but the prices werent so nice. Most of the salesman were polite for the most part, but were no different than most car dealers in the end, smartasses. Its been a week today, since we got it and theyve promised everyday that they were going to overnight us a temporary tag...., still havent got it.... I wont be recommending them to anyone in the future...

I have mixed feelings on this place. I bought a 2004 Wrangler in Aug. On one hand I really like the people and they have a great selection of jeeps, on the other hand the jeep I bought has way to many issues. We agreed before I bought it that they would replace the rear main seal and although I had to bring it back up for repairs 4 times they have refused to fix the leak. Additionally the AC compressor is leaking all over the place and again they are refusing to fix it under warranty. They arent debating if its covered or not just that they cant see an active leak. I mean there is fluid everywhere both on the rear main and the AC compressor. Additionally it was on the "we owe" to fix the rear main leak so it was agreed on to replace before purchase. That said, they had to replace the fuel pump (after 3 visits and constant begging), the water pump, the radiator, and the lower radiator hose, the other hose was leaking badly too and that had to be fixed, plus the gear shifter plastic. So I appreciate them fixing those things, but thats also a lot more issues than id expect as well. Bottomline we had an agreement to fix the rear main, and its not fixed and its still leaking. The AC compressor is still leaking badly, and its stalled a few times. UPDATE: After copy and pasting this same review to their facebook page, it has since been removed.. This is very UNETHICAL. I wouldnt recommend buying from this place. I took the jeep in to a mechanic and had to get almost 1500$ worth of repair work done. Its finally running properly with no leaks. They dont stand behind their warranty. If they agree to do it on the we owe, doesnt mean they will.

Just about as crooked as they come. Ask yourself how you would feel about this: Took my Jeep in for some warranty work and despite having previous theft issues, they failed to secure my Jeep. Someone stole it from their property so what does the Jeep store do to make it right with me? Completely avoid me - thats what. No apology - no use of another of their vehicles - just unreturned phone calls and silence. Through my own insurance company, I found out that they are under-insured and their policy only covers THEM - not the customer. In other words - this is my loss and my premiums are now going to skyrocket. The real kick in the gut came today when they actually called me and tried to get me to come buy another Jeep from them!!! Are you kidding me?? They will act like your best buddy all while trying everything they can do to cheat you. They sold me a 4 year extended warranty on my vehicle but only bought a 2 year warranty from the company. I pointed this out to them no less than 5 different times. They promised (outright lied to me) that they would get that fixed. Wanna take bets on if that ever happened? Nope. To this day - they still never corrected their "Mistake". This is as a sleazy and slimy as they come. Do not ever do business here unless you like getting lied to, cheated and bent over a jeep and taken advantage of.
