If you want terrible customer service: no one was in the deli department, I had to wait and wait. Then she "couldnt find" the brand of ham displayed in the case that I asked for and gave me something else. Next I dealt with a rude and huffy cashier who could not hide her annoyance with my reusable grocery bags. She also slammed my bananas on the counter when I asked her not put them in a plastic bag, and they came home bruised (should have refused to buy them). Since she was having such a hard time using my reusable bags another bagger came over from another lane with no customers to help her. A supervisor, or someone, came over and publicly scolded her for not being on her lane and for causing "a line to build up". There was still no one in the lane she came from and there were only two people behind me, who were together. I cant remember the last time I had such a terrible shopping experience. I walked out of their feeling disgusted. Also? Very poor selection. Terrible looking produce. Banged up bell peppers and the broccoli was not suitable to be eaten raw. I went because I heard they had the best prices for groceries and now I see why, that is the only thing that matters. Poor selection, Nightmare customer service.

Customer service was terrible. They didnt pick up my phone calls at all when I tried to complain about a worker. I went there on 7/3/15 and went through the self checkout with some fireworks and groceries that I was purchasing. I had a coworker that was with me at the time and they didnt have their ID, nor were they purchasing anything but only standing in line with me so I could take them home. The self checkout lady took the fireworks from me and told me I wasnt allowed to buy them even though I am 18 and showed her my license. Later I went in and got the same package by myself and went though a checkout line. Right as I was about to pay she comes over and said "no sir you are not allowed to buy those". I told her that as a legal civilian that is giving a coworker a ride home that Im allowed to buy them for my own pleasure. She yanked them out of my hand and walked off. I had other customers behind me even tell her that was wrong and she ignored them and walked off. She couldnt even give assistance to other customers in line asking for help. One customer even told her how to type her number in and use the machine. Worst experience. Rude service and they never help me out any time Im there.

The people there are very nice when you ask them questions they do not puff, roll their eyes, or seem annoyed that they have to help someone or even talk to someone. Everyone that works there is very nice and they always have a smile on saying hello how are you and just talking to you. You can ask them their thoughts on some of the products and they tell you how they worked for them or how good the item is. If you need to find something they take you to said item or to a similar item that could do the job as well. Customer Service they do not frown or are rude they are very nice even crack jokes with you and laugh with you. Ive been there many times and there are a lot of people there that are just awesome they focus on one person and that is the customer and gives them all their attention like they are the most important person in the world and once they are done with one customer they go on with the next person and treats them the same way.

I must agree with all the negative reviews prior to mine. Customer Service department is a joke. Why cant they make change for a 100.00 bill? Oh no, "they cant do that!" I shopped on 2/12/15, and went through the self check out lane. I requested 100.00 cash back. What I got was 100.00 in fives. I asked the lady that was running the self check out at the time, if I can swap 100.00 in fives for 5 twenties. Her response was "I cant open my drawer". What?? You are a cashier, thats all you do. I honestly dont think is Wal Mart per se, its all the young people they hire. They are rude! And it seems that a little authority has gone to their head. On another note, how do you run out of ground chuck? Or milk? or anything else for that matter. Who ever is taking inventory must not know what they are doing or have not been properly training. Its sad!

Do not waste your time at this store.......take the 15 minutes and drive to the East Ellijay Wal-mart. The Jasper Wal-Mart has basically no selection. If your looking for UGA apparel, you wont find it, if your looking for a bathing suit in JUNE for your daughter, you wont find it, if your looking for rec league balls, equipment, gloves, bats, etc, you wont find it, if your looking for basic pool supplies and toys, you wont find it, if your looking for the hottest country CDs, you wont find it, but if your looking for a big waste of space, you will find that........btw-everything I mentioned you can find at the East Ellijay Wal-mart, just not our local Wal-mart........dont take my word, ask any parent in Jasper where they shop when in need of a specific item, and they will tell you not this Wal-mart.

Well me and my cousin went in this store for him to buy his sister a birthday gift, while in the store a Walmart manager followed us everywhere we went. At first we werent sure but then we made stops to look at things and sure enough she stopped as well. When we started walking here she comes following us "in secret". We were in their for around 15 minutes and the entire time we were followed. When we went to check out we told the cashier about here and pointed her out, but the cashier said she couldnt do anything because that was one of here managers. In short I will not be going back to this store I would rather make the 30 minute trip to Canton or Ellijay

This store is a joke! The customer service sucks. I stood there with a jammed up U-Scan waiting for the U-Scan associate to quit jabbering with her friends that came into shop. She was jabbering for at least 20 minutes, and seemed annoyed when I asked her for help. I never enjoy my trips to this craphole, and the only reason I come here is because Kroger and Home Depot are accross the hwy. The management is non existent, and the place is either run by kids, people that dont care or handicapped retards.

I dont know. I just have a hard time every giving a Walmart more than 3 stars. As far as Wal Mart goes, this one is fine. But... its a Wal Mart. Theyre not trying to win any awards for customer service or anything. Customer service is always awful. The place isnt ever very clean. The "fresh" food isnt ever fresh. There are always too many people. Never anyone around to can help. And there are never enough people working the check out line... Like I said... Its Wal Mart.

I cant stand this Wal-Mart, why is it they cant match the right product with the right price, its like they just put things wherever, and now why you go grab an item that was displayed for 49.99 and it rings up 119.99 theyll just say oh it was most likely in the wrong place. Its super common at this store, like its planned or something "lets get there hopes up, and then crush them when they go to check out". This Wal-Mart is sorry
