I bought an infant car seat online to pick up at the Sears store in the Dayton mall on the 24th of December of 2016. The estimated arrival at store would be on the 28th of December 2016. I called Sears pickup at 10:30am and asked when the trucks come in? The guy says I have no clue. I called back at 12:30pm, asked same guy same question. He says the truck is here but its not uploaded. He says it has 450pcs on it so it will be about three oclock when were done. I work at FedEx....I know how long it should take a 450pc truck to unload. Called him again at 1:34pm.....I asked how long? The guy days about 20-30mns. I then go buy another car seat somewhere else to do what I had to do. My wife calls again.......STAY WITH ME IT GETS BETTER. She asks do u have it? The GUY SAYS YES, WE HAVE IT. My wife tells him she to cancel the order.The guy asked for a return order # my wife replies what order return number? I tell my wife....the number on the email confirmation that THE ITEM IS READY FOR PICKUP. So she asks for the email confirmation that he DIDNT SEND. He tells my wife......OH THE TRUCK ISNT HERE YET!. REALLY Sears....really? Never using their online again.

The staff at Sears Optical are nice enough but the glasses they made me were trash! I could see better out of my 9 year old glasses than I could with the new ones from them. When I complained enough they finally offered to remake the glasses. I asked would that include a new eye test because the lady sure got it wrong the first time. Nope, they were only willing to remake the glasses using the wrong prescription. I tried to complain further up the chain of command but never got a single call returned. It is no wonder Sears as a whole is going bankrupt! I remember when the name Sears meant quality and customer care. Those days are gone forever!

I purchased my husband a 8 piece ratching tool set for Christmas on black Friday. Come to find out I purchased standard instead of metric. I attempted to exchange the standard set (unopened) for the metric set and they told me that they could not do it after 30 days. According to their return policy you can exchange but not return. I called corporate and they told me the same thing. So now Im out $70 due to their lack of competency on their own return/exchange policy. Will be filing a complaint with BBB as well. No wonder all sears stores are closing.

There is great service at the Lands End department, the sales are well presented , the area is colorful, easy to navigate and very tidy. They have many good summer.bargins and high quality sportswear.
