I have played competitive Magic the Gathering at about 10 stores in the metro Atlanta area. There are several really good ones. Easily though, this is my favorite place to play. They have ample play space and restrooms. There are multiple options for getting a meal within walking distance. Their selection of singles is ample, if not all-encompassing. They also have, hands down, the best staff I have encountered at a gaming store. They are friendly, helpful, and available. The Gaming Pit also has the best prize support (for weekly tournaments) that I am aware of, and I can count on playing against a top-level player if I am able to do well in one of their competitive events. Although I do not participate, I am aware that The Gaming Pit hosts casual Magic the Gathering events as well as events for various other games. I would encourage anyone to check em out!

Naming your business a Wasteland seems problematic. However for Wasteland Gaming its not an issue. Located in the back side of the Mall Corners complex in Duluth, GA Wasteland as the locals call it is a large vibrant game store. I stopped by on a Friday night and saw 60 MTG players 20 YGO players and a bunch of other games in play. They have a solid stock of board games including a lending library. Their MTG selection is good. They have an above average inventory of RPGs. The staff were friendly, however they did not greet me at the door. Not uncommon for a "tournament center" style store. I would cheerfully play her most any day of the week. Glenn -Albuquerque NM

Ive been to this store twice when large Magic events are town. The service is horrible. I understand its busy because weve came on Friday nights, but its unacceptable. They have a system where you pay for cards and then they retrieve them from the back. Im standing in their store, have paid for my items and looking at two guys sitting at computers rather then getting the items I purchased from the back so I can leave. The atmosphere is great it seems, but if your from out of town, or trying to pick up something quick for a tournament, avoid this place.

Pros: - Very friendly staff. They make you feel welcome and even on your first trip, call you by your first name. - Large Gaming Area. A good 85% of the floor space is dedicated to gaming space. - Wide selection of products for Mtg - Very competitive prices - Lots of food places near by, reasonable prices in house on snacks/drinks. - The locals seemed pretty friendly and willing to help out new players Cons: - Can get pretty warm in the gaming area - Building is difficult to find

Wow, Ihave been going to wasteland for santcitoned pokemon events ever since i got into it. These people here will be happy to assist you with your every need and their staff is by far the best i have experienced and i have traveled across the country time and time again. If you are in the area they have great bulk prices and they buy and sell singles of most tcgs such as mtg, pokemon, vanguard its astounishing. If you need any game supplies they have it. Best staff and supplier in the area.

Frequent spot, They Have a decent amount of singles, and when theyre out of stock, you can add that product to the wishlist on their website, which youll get an email letting you know when the product has been restocked, which is a great feature. Staff is always welcoming new customers and just being down to earth with you. Being a new mtg player People here are very helpful, even the top tier players here.

Whether you are looking for board games, card games, or table top games the Wasteland has it all. As an added bonus they have a huge space to play all of these great games. In addition to all of these great features, they have a ping pong table!!! That in and of itself makes for hours of endless entertainment. If you make it out, thats where you will find me, so be sure to bring your A game!

Went a few days ago for some Pokemon cards. The place is gross and disgusting and the one staff member I spoke with was very rude. Despite this place being 10min from my house, next time I wont waste my time being disrespected in a dirty warehouse setting and will go to Meeple instead, where they know how to treat customers.

Poor Customer Service (Staff either ignores you or act like they are performing some herculean task if you ask a question or want something) - Poorly Stocked - Disorganized They could take a lesson from Gigabytes or Meeple Madness on how to treat people who walk into their store.

Everyone here is always really helpful. I drive from Decatur because I love how friendly they are, and this is when I have a Local Game Store near me that does not give good service. Selection of games is always solid. I am not a CCG player and this is not just a CCG ship.

Store is mostly tables, seems like the best place to go for tournaments. Owner was being very helpful with customers that were new to a game when I was in there. They have a computer to search card inventory, and its very quiet in there which is a plus for gaming.

Great store overall. I have been coming here for the last two years. Generally a wide selection of cards for mtg and regular tournaments. The quality of the players at the store is a testament to how well they run their ship.

Never has any cards that you would actually buy and they have terrible prices they will buy your cards at, which leads us back to why they have no product to sell. START CARRYING MORE STOCK

Great staff, great community, and theres plenty of room. There are demo games to try before you buy, which is awesome. My only complaint is that they dont have the best stock of board games.

Cool place. During Magic events and stuff the temperature (and odor) really go up and there isnt adequate cooling, but thats mostly to be expected really.
