In life, there comes a time when you will be fortunate to find a life partner. When that time comes, you will want to profess your love and provide your loved one with a symbol of the love and dedication that you will spend the rest of your life with him/her. Most symbols are diamond engagement rings and this is where my journey started with finding Union Diamond to be the best diamond dealer/retailer/informed team for helping me find the right one. After many days, long nights, weeks, and months of research, I probably could say that I’m a mid-range specialist in round diamonds. My life partner means the world to me and I wanted to find her perfection, hence the reason that I probably invested over 300 hours of research and analysis. In one of the hours of my research, I found Union Diamond through another diamond critique (which was praising this company by having met every standard that he had when reviewing diamond companies). I was very thankful to do a quick search on their site and inquire about a stone. Within an hour or so, Andrew (nickname: Drew) (one of the partners of the store), emailed me and was excited to let me know that he could bring the stone in for viewing. We made an appointment for me to view the stone and he offered to bring in a couple more round diamonds for me to look at as well. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a friendly handshake and offered a bottle of water (1st impressions are key). Obviously Drew could tell that I knew my stuff when I came in, as I had my own personal 10x/14x/20x loupe and ASET scope. Drew and I looked over the three stones that he brought in and we got into the intricate details of the specifications. Every question that I asked, Drew had an answer and is extremely polished with his diamond knowledge. I’m a buyer that doesn’t do anything on impulse and I decided that I enjoyed looking at these diamonds and I let him know that I only liked one of the three and I would continue to look around and on his site. Before coming to Union Diamond, I frequented places such as Mayors, Cartier, Tiffany & Co., local/national diamond shops, and other online retailers, to only find out that the markup from those places comparatively was well above the Rapport sheet pricing or the quality of the diamonds weren’t to my standard. I went home and continued to find diamonds from around the globe and I would provide Drew with GIA certificate numbers, and he impressed me with his connections to be able to locate, find, and/or bring in the stones. Fast-forward a month of continued research and inspection of stones with Drew, he showed continued patience and we found the “perfect” stone (e.g. >1.5ct, D color, IF clarity, triple-ex, <1.2 HCA brilliance score). Actually the stone was found in the early stages of my research, but I continued to try and discount the stone (i.e., I looked at over 75 stones over the course my research) and find something different and had no luck because I was set and in love with this one stone. Drew’s team members (Jeff, Leah & Yerald) at Union Diamond were all very professional. This goes to show their dedication to running a great business, earning your business, and holding high standards in the diamond industry. I highly recommend that you look for your next jewelry (i.e., engagement ring, watch, etc) purchase at Union Diamond. I was lucky enough to find Claire N. at Union Diamond to help me create a unique gift for my wife on our 25th wedding anniversary. I have used other jewelers in the Atlanta area and there is no one quite like Claire. My task was to take a 5 marquise diamond ring that wife did not wear very much and modernize it. As an artist, Claire was instrumental on creating a custom ring for my wife. She understood my wife’s unique style desire. She examined carefully the shape and size of my wife’s finger where the ring would lay. She created a computerized drawing of the ring. From there, she made a wax impression of the new ring for my wife to try on. After the wax impression, she felt it was not perfect and made further adjustments before the final casting of white gold was made. She incorporated the “old” white gold from the original ring. The final product is stunning and unique. As a gemologist, Claire was essential on figuring out how to use the white gold and diamonds from the “old” ring and add a new twist. I wanted the ring to really sparkle and I was prepared to purchase more diamonds to achieve this goal. She carefully examined the stones that were in the old ring. She was able to choose appropriate size, clarity and color marquise diamonds to be added to the ring. Furthermore, we added additional surrounding brilliant cut stones that were expertly matched. As a salesperson, Claire was never pushy in any type of way. She is not paid on commission, so there was never any “high pressure sales”. Furthermore, I feel that the price I paid for the ring was fair and reasonable. I also feel that there was a lot of time and effort “behind the scenes” working on the ring. The ring I purchased is a custom piece of jewelry. It is going to be special ring for my wife to enjoy for years to come. It’s safe to say that I now have a jeweler for all my needs in the future. Claire has an extremely nice, relaxed and friendly demeanor. Throughout the entire process, I could sense her excitement for the project through the e-mails and conversations we had. I would highly recommend visiting Claire at Union Diamond for all of your jewelry needs.

First off, I should share that I bought an off the shelf 3 stone diamond ring from Union Diamond some years back. I felt good about the quality, price and customer service. After shopping for a couple months online, I decided to come back to Union Diamond for this very important purchase. Claire was excellent to work with and very helpful from the start. After shopping on their webpage, I selected a twist shank wedding set and a stone that I thought would be nice, although I admit to knowing virtually nothing about diamonds. Claire and I discussed what I had selected and she suggested a slightly nicer stone at a similar price. After I placed the order, delivery was confirmed at a week and a half. However, less than a week before delivery, Claire called me to let me know that there was an issue with my order. When the stone arrived there, it was chipped. This was going to delay my getting the ring a few additional days. Unfortunately, I was already planning to propose and present the ring before a family function shortly after the ring was originally scheduled to arrive. Claire understood that a significant delay would not work for me, and we began discussing what could be done to potentially make the delivery I needed. She offered to upgrade me to a slightly larger stone of equal quality, remake the setting and express ship it to try to make my "need by" date, which was 1 day after the original delivery date(all no extra charge). I dont know how they did it, but what I received was exactly as Claire and I had discussed and I got it when I needed it. The set is gorgeous and perfect. My fiance is not one to brag, but she tells me how much she loves the ring(and me) and what it means that I picked out something so beautiful for her. She always tells me what kind of reactions she gets when her friends or family get to see the ring for the first time. I dont usually provide feedback after a purchase, but Claire and Union Diamond really understand customer service and take it very seriously. I would and do recommend them to anyone considering a significant purchase like mine. I could not be happier about it. Thanks again!
