Let me start by saying that I hate the whole experience of car buying. From the overbearing, desperate sales people, to the negotiating, to them treating me like a child because I am in my 20s...I hate all of it. It gives me anxiety. The day before I visited STAG, I had gone to a larger dealership and practically been laughed out the door because of my not great credit (due to losing my steady job last year). I was taken into an office and talked to like I was a child with no idea about finance. I personally felt that because I am a server (Oh, the horror!) and not married with a family, the fact that I am a fully functioning 28 year old adult with a college degree was ignored. I was so angry and disappointed. I felt so disrespected. Now, let me tell you about my experience with Nick and Jeff at STAG. I had seen that they had a Jeep Liberty on the lot at a great price, so the very next day I decided to go and check it out. Upon walking in, the place was clean and welcoming. I was greeted with a smile from Nick, who was only too happy to show me the car. He walked me around it, took a copy of my license and let me take it out for a drive. ON MY OWN. This was so nice as I felt less pressured and more able to check out the car at my own pace. It was so incredibly clean (I was told sometimes they even gut the whole interior just to make sure everything is cleaned... carpets, seats and all!), it ran great, it was exactly what I wanted. I went back in, we ran numbers, I wasnt made to feel inferior because of my job, age, or credit score, and we came to an amazing deal. Jeff even gave me some advice on refinancing in a few months to get my payments down after I build my credit for a little while. I spent 2 hours at STAG and walked out with a new (to me) car. I was so incredibly impressed by the pleasant service and the quality that I brought my boyfriend in not even a week later to make a deal on a truck. Were going in tomorrow to pick it up. Another wonderful experience with some great advice and theyre even throwing in some new tires! As far as cons, there are two. They dont offer warranties. You are buying a vehicle as is. Also, they dont haggle on prices. But the prices are very competitive with what you would find as a fair market value, and honestly, it takes so much pressure off. On one hand, you might be missing out on working a better deal, but on the other, you dont have to feel like youre going into battle. I honestly cant recommend this place enough. Nick and Jeff were wonderful and they have definitely earned some customers for life!

Wow! What a GREAT experience!! I have never purchased an automobile via the web, and have to admit, I was a little skeptical about doing so. I almost passed up my "dream car" thinking that Florida was just too far away from Pennsylvania. When I discoved that it was cheaper to fly to Southern Trust Auto Group than any of the other three locations of cars that we were considering, I decided to make the purchase but not without a lot of questions, texts and e-mails back and forth to Mauricio Garcia, the sales representative, and Jeff, the financial officer at S.T.A.G. I think the name of this dealership is apropos because it includes the word "Trust"! I trusted them, that they were representing the car truthfully and accurately and they trusted me to take my test drive to a local mechanic to verify that the car was solid; and that is exactly what the mechanic said to me, "Dan, this is a solid car. You should have no problems taking it back to Pittsburgh and enjoying it for many years to come." When he inquired where I was purchasing the car, I told him, "Southern Trust Auto Group." He knew of therir reputation and said that, although he did not know anyone personally, he knew of their reputation in the marketplace and allayed any of my fears by saying that I "could trust them." Mauricio was so kind to pick us up at the airport, even though our flight was delayed and it was his day off. Joseph (love the bow ties, I think that they are your trademark, dont stop wearing them) made us feel so at home. Because of the flight delay, the inspection taking a little over an hour, plus the travel back and forth, Jeff and Joseph remained well after closing to complete the transaction; which could not have gone smoother. Thanks gentlemen! Although we did not have the pleasure of meeting the owner of S.T.A. G., Chris Niccoli, it is obvious that he knows how to surround himself with good people who perform their duties with excellence. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to all in need of good transportation, and will even go a step further by saying, that if you dont give Mauricio and all of the folks at S.T.A.G. an opportunity to help you with your next car purchase, youre doing yourself a great disservice! By the way, the drive back to Pittsburgh was an absolute blast! Thanks everyone!! We have had the top down more than up -- its going to be a great summer!!! Dan & Gail

This was exactly the type of experience I wanted from a used car dealership - honest, fair, and up-front discussions about my trade-in as well as the new vehicle I was looking for. Chris (the owner) and Jeff (the finance guy) as well as the rest of the staff treated my wife and I with respect and I got NONE of the typical "us versus them" used car dealership games. We discussed my trade-in by looking at a list of cars for sale at similar miles and condition - together - so we could have a mature, open discussion about how much it was worth. We also had similar discussions about the price of the new vehicle. Invariably when you buy a used vehicle, there will be small things wrong that need to be addressed. As my wife and I were driving the vehicle, I made a list of those things. When we got back to the dealership, Chris (owner) jumped on that list and had half of the items addressed in less than 10 minutes - and the other half he was able to resolve before we left the lot. Hes fast, efficient, and keeps his team well organized and working hard. My wife and I took several test drives, and eventually purchased a car here. Were both "car people" and shes definitely the finance guru of the house. I was really impressed that they treated her with so much respect - sometimes when you visit dealerships they focus on the man - because "Im the man of the house/decision maker/bread winner." This sexist nonsense could not be further from the truth at STAG - my wife was an equal part of the purchase discussion/decision process and treated with a great deal of respect. Finally, and maybe most importantly to me, we were buying a new (lifted) truck which can be difficult to climb into. I typically open the door for her, but when I wasnt immediately around to help (several times) the guys on the lot at STAG jumped right up and opened the car door for my wife and made sure she could climb in - every single time we got in a car and they noticed she was jumping in they were right there and very polite and helpful. Thanks fellas - thats how it should be!
