Went in yesterday with a plan to build a deck and needed the materials and thought I would give Home Depot my business since I have had great results with them in the past and they had everything I needed. Went to the front desk to have my order pulled and to rent their truck to haul the materials ( over $500.00 worth, not a fortune, but what I thought to be a decent order for them on a Saturday afternoon) and then proceeded to round up the rest of what I needed while the lumber was getting pulled. After I grabbed the $120.00 of screws I would need, I went back to check the status of the lumber. Only to find a disgruntled assistant manager (who I surely thought would appreciate the business) pulling lumber off of the racks. Asked if this was for my order so that I could help gather the rest with him. He responded in a short tone on how he has just begun and still has to grab the other boards I has purchased, and it was going to be a while longer. So I went over and picked out the stair stringers I would need since past experience told me to look them over since they tend to be cracked and dont make the ride home- made this mistake on the last deck build. Once the rest of the lumber was ready, I met them in the front of the store to figure out the loading process only to find the assistant manager again in short form waiting for his associates to come and take over. Sorry that you were short staffed and you had to assist a customer to complete an order, I guess Ill check Lowes next time to see if they would prefer my business!

I bought a hot water heater through home depot and the installation contractors they used installed the new hot water heater right over the top of an obvious leak in the wall behind it. Dry wall was wet enough to poke your finger through and was in a perfect pipe shaped line. In order to fix the leak they wanted me to pay them to pull the water heater again and then pay to reinstall (effectively making me pay twice for the install because THEY missed the leak.) While this was the contractors mistake, Home Depot made the sale and the responsibility ultimately lies at their feet. My advice is to not use Home Depot for contract services, check out and hire for those types of services on your own.

I was at my wits end after dealing with Rheem concerning a water heater that failed while still in the warranty period. I was lucky enough to talk to Christine at the customer service desk. She explained exactly what needed to be done. She even came outside because after watching me unload the water heater alone she was concerned I may need help. That alone is exceptional customer service. We did the paper work and I left a completely satisfied customer. Again, that doesnt happen very often. Lowes is a memory thanks to Christine.

Waited forever to be waited on for paint even thought the guy with "evil Peter Pan" tattoo on his shoulder was standing right in front of me. Never even said "Ill be with you shortly". Just completely ignored me. When he did come to take my order (4 small samples of gray paint) he said it would be 45 minutes!!! Insane!! There was only one order ahead of me. Guy doesnt care about the customers and Ill gladly go by my Sherman Williams across the street at lowes.

There is a nice blonde lady that has helped me in Garden, and a nice man who knows a lot about electricity, and another helpful man with gray hair back in the lumber area. But the rudeness I received from a Spanish speaking younger supervisor type person when I was trying to figure out a lighting problem makes me never want to go back to the store. She was younger than I was but very condescending and talked down to me. My money went across the street!

Overall good place, but no tool rental. I have to go to Merritt Island to rent tools which is a major inconvenience. Im told that there is enough demand for a tool rental at the Titusville store, but it will require comments from the public to the store management. Lowes in Titusville does not have tool rental either.

The HD people are always very helpful and happy which makes shopping there easier. Many time customers need to go to a home store because something is broken at home that needs to be fixed, etc., which typically would be a stressful situation, but the employees go out of their way to be extremely helpful.

The staff to busy putting out stock to help me. When I did insist on help I was made to feel stupid. The did not have what I needed so I had to make do. No one helped me load my 8 sheet of plywood or even ask to help. I guess I will go back to Lowes until they make me mad.

Everytime I go to get any help, finding or getting something off a shelf all the workers seem to disappear. When I actually catch some one to help me they have to go find someone else, and possibly in 10 minutes later someone shows up.

The best home Depot in all my 42 years. Wish our Home Depot was this good. The ones by our home have me going to Lowes but his store was well stocked and the customer service was top notch.
