I dont make it to Harbor Freight often, but when I do its for something specific. I always wander around and find a million things I think I need. I did get asked by several associates if I needed help, and that was nice. Ultimately I settled for the one item I needed & went to check out. I ended up with a cashier named Brittany (per my receipt). I dont know if she was pissed that I didnt want to sign up for their customer program, or of she just shouldnt be working with the public. But every word that came out of her mouth dripped with condescension. She felt the need to sarcastically walk me through every small little step of running my credit card. Just rude.

I agree with last poster! My ATV winch came from there and quit on me after one week. I took back to exchange and the the woman up front was nice, but had to get the assistant manager. He was a complete nimrod and told me tough luck and wouldnt exchange. Apparently, their products are so bad that they make sure you cant bring back for exchange, much less a refund. This guy had no customer service skills, was rude, gave NO consideration to my request. Do yourself a favor, ESPECIALLY during the holidays and shop at Northern Tool, Tractor Supply, Home Depot or Lowes. Dont waste your time at this low rent store, youll definitely be sorry!

If you know what to buy and not in the budget realm , HF can save you alot if money. Certain items I only get here vs paying terribly inflated prices at the other home stores. But then theres other tools I would never get from here. But overall, a great place for tools and such!

It smells horrible. I cant even walk in. But if I have to its always a slow and painful experience. Things are scattered and always moving around. The only person on the floor is the cashier.

Yes some of their inventory is cheap, but also have professional quality tools as well, just have to know what you are looking at, and what you need it for.
