Just recieved the "JOSEF" queen size bed. Delivery was great and the bed was great until I put my mattress on. The wooden slats show on both sides of bed. Thought it might be my mattress so I also tried another queen size mattress from a guest room...same problem. Made the bed with comforter etc....that hides the slats near the foot of the bed but not near headboard. Called a mattress store and yes the standard is 60" width however most mattresses are about 58" wide. Actual width of platfom on "JOSEF" bed is 61" even though it is advertised as 60" in width. So make sure you measure your mattress exactly before you purchase this bed. Too bad.

My mom was excited to visit West Elm after moving to Central Florida but to her dismay the associates made her feel very unwelcome. Nobody offered her any assistance when the store was not even busy. My dad felt so uncomfortable he needed to leave the store. Now my mom is very disappointed and will never go back. I dont know if its because of discrimination due to her being a minority (Asian) or if the employees just do not know the basics of customer service.

Excellent customer service from day one. We have been coming here since they opened in s tampa during and after we built our house. Michael Morabito in particular has been extremely helpful as a designer and also as the assistant manager. She has gone out of her way to be helpful and accommodating with a lovely smile. We are lifetime customers!
