I firmly believe in excellent customer service and part of excellent customer service is when a company fully trusts their employees. It has been my experience with Nutrition SMart that there seems to be a break in their system of trusting their cashiers, as the problem I am about to share seems to be an ever increasing issue. It is not customer friendly when anyone decides to purchase items that are marked down and the cashier has to call for a manager for every single marked down item to not only be approved but the managers have to enter some sort of "special" code to allow the cashier to enter these deals. Here is the problem that I have observed over a period of time. There seems to be an issue with the managers that have this "special" permission code being available. I have worked in retail and am a customer at several other businesses and have NEVER experienced such a poor way of operating a business. As a customer I have witnessed other customers getting impatient due to having to wait on a manager to approve these deals. Heaven forbid if several customers are in line desiring to purchase these deals, because that means not only does that customer who is purchasing these deals have to wait, but so do all the other customers wanting to make a purchase in general have to wait and wait and wait and wait for a manager to come up front and approve these deals and enter their "special" code. Nutrition SMart really needs to find a better way of conducting business and if they do not trust their employees that have been hired as cashiers, then they either need to hire more trust worthy employees or have all the managers run their registers and let the cashiers run their departments. This system is not customer friendly nor is it productive.

I have been a loyal Whole Foods shopper for over a year now. I decided to go into Nutrition SMart because I had gotten a $5 off coupon and have been meaning to check out their produce prices. Their prices are fantastic! Some of their produce is half the price that it is at Whole Foods, plus it is all 100% organic. I also got coconut oil BOGO, which never happens at WF. Will definitely be shopping there again!

I love Nutrition Mart because they have variety of good option to buy healthy food and drink. Including soap, medicine, oil, and etc. I just brought two type of oil that is 100% pure (peppermint and lavender) for oil diffuser scarface. I love it and looking forward to go back there for something different and healthy!

Clerk do not know the math. Rude guy tried rip me off I had to request a refund and still ripped me off for $0.50 . They do not know how to calculate 2 cases of water for $3.39 each they count $4.19 minus discount for the case. Redicuse expirience, now I understand why there are no customers ... Store is empty ...

I have worked here for three months, and from day one, I have been welcomed by coworkers who care about the people with whom they work. I have also met customers who come in happy and leave happier because Nutrition SMart and its employees will never forget our neighbors in Carrollwood.

I like this store. Its small but still has a lot of things I need at fair prices. Occasionally Ive had an issue with a couple of the check out clerks but most are nice and the salespeople on the floor have always been helpful.

Visited Nutrition Smart today. The store was nice and clean. Employees were helpful. The prices on items were lower than other similar type stores. My favorite popcorn was on sale. Score!!

Most prices here are cheaper than Whole Foods. I just shopped around for lemons for a cleanse... W.F. charges .69 each for conventional lemons and N.S. had them at .59 for organic.
