My mother shops here. Recently she started ordering her vitamins online because the price is too high at this Whole Foods. She still buys a few things to support the store. Last week she bought grape juice and vinegar. The items were bagged in a thin paper sack with no handles. She had to hold the bag against her chest so it wouldnt fall apart. She walked out and tripped on the rise in the sidewalk. She fell, shattered the glass bottles, and re-injured her knee that she had just had surgery on. A nice gentleman working outside ran over to help her get up. He went inside and told the owner, who brought over a broom and dust pan. He told her the sidewalk was a known problem, but wasnt bad enough to fix. She was humiliated. He went back inside and didnt come back out. She said he seemed very cocky and rude.

I always have so many questions when I visit Health in Hand and every time I leave, I leave with more knowledge than I can possibly remember. Maybe I can find something a little cheaper somewhere else (before I pay the shipping charge and then have to wait to get my product) however the knowledge and personal service I gets from the owner is not matched by the Internet, and thats what I am really paying for.
